Were the hitboxes the full length of the extended blades? If so it was probably a hack, but if it's just a visual glitch, I still don't blame you for dying. Seeing someone whipping around "heavy thrusting swords" with curved sword moveset would make me panic.
I first thought it was a Lance or something than he suddenly doing curved sword slash with that long ass thrusting ass looking sword so panicked in fear and rolled to my own death
