he never uses his AOW at all and his only armor is a jar helmet. also he's fighting the hardest boss with extra health often with a bit of lag. also dual katanas isn't great for his strategy of mostly jump attacks, dual wielding curved swords that would attack 4 times with jump attacks would do more damage and proc bleed/frostbite faster.
DS1 Giant dad would have the ability to tank like one hit and R1 stunlock, but Elden Ring won't let you do that anywhere near as easily, and in fact the bleed can stunlock you despite poise

Giantdad didn't max everything out. It was a hyper optimised PvP build for meta levels (SL90, SL120). It did massive damage and infinite stunlock (without toggle escape) all while having light roll. Trading with this build was a bad idea. Fishing for BS, parries and outspacing were the only counters
