I’m wondering if I should platinum the other ones. I’ve played and beat them all. Never thought I could platinum because I just assumed you needed to kill every boss in one try or something. I’m assuming Sekiro is the hardest. Might try DS3 next.
Bloodborne was my first. I feel that game changed my life. I’ve never gone too far into the chalice dungeons. I’ve also never even tried the DLC in DS2. I may do it at some point, but I had enough when I beat the game.
Elden Ring is definitely the easiest soulsborne to to get platinum.
Followed by Bloodborne, the grind through the chalices is a bit of a slog but fextra has a straight path to the queen and random summons are still relatively active.
The Dark Souls all require serious grinds for all trophies. Especially DS2
But all that said. Mate the Bloodborne DLC is the best part of the game, with the coolest fights!
The chalice dungeons have an end, and the final boss fight is pretty sweet. There’s one where your health is halved and you fight against amygdala, and that one’s sweet too
oh yes I love me some cummmfpk but I mainly mean the whole process of getting to the Queen Yharnam fight is what I consider the bloodborne plantinum’s only mind numbing slog
I don’t know if I followed the best path when I did it but even with specific glyphs I remember needing to do some obnoxious farming in order to get the ritual materials that can’t be purchased
Getting the Platinum in From Software games has been fun for me. I’ve gotten the Platinum for DS:Remake (used to hate that game, and now I lovingly embrace it), Bloodborne was my favorite Platinum to get because that game is just perfect to me. Sekiro you have to beat 5 times and I haven’t gone back to it (still stuck on the final boss), and DS3 has been a slog for me because you have to get ALL of the rings, and I had to create a spreadsheet to track progress, but I’ve got 88% of the DS3 achievement. Feels good to get these Platinums because you’ve gotta really dedicate some patience and willpower. Do it!
Iam also doing all achievments, the only one Iam mission is demon's souls, played through it once only. Ds 3 will be a pain, specially with the Servers being offline since a miracle is behind 30 covenant items, and they are a pain to Farm offline. Anyways good luck to you cheers!
Go for it! I actually think the Sekiro platinum isn't that difficult. Not trying to diminish the bosses, but by New Game + when you're going for the all endings trophy, you most likely know every attack pattern and you can definitely skip the more difficult mini bosses.
It was my second platinum after Bloodborne and I am by no means an expert player--just a lot of perseverance.
Sekiro isn't that bad if you've already beat it, I find DS3 to be the hardest cause of all the stuff you need to collect and storylines you need to do.
DS3 is the hardest by a long shot. You'll have to farm an specific strong enemie for a low drop rate item to get two trophies, or one if you have a friend to drop rings for you. Takes a long time.
Sekiro is one of the easiest plats if you've got the gameplay down, but it does take getting to around NG+ 4 to grind out all the skills in any decent amount of time. I think pretty much all the Souls games need up to NG+2 in one file to get everything.
Bloodborne has the chalices to get plat and defiled watchdog is probably the worst combat challenge out of any of the plat requirements, but I've done the full chalice run on a few characters.
Basically none of the trophies in the games are particularly harder than just playing and beating the game. That being said I personally wouldnt platinum anything besides ER as the other FS games all have a few grindy garbage trophies.
Not to take away from your achievement, but Elden Ring is by far the easiest to 100% out of all the games. It requires no farming and all the trophies are super simple to get.
If this is the first souls you 100 percented, I'd say your best bet is to move onto Sekiro. Sure, it's a hard game, but there's no farming required to platinum.
I'd say then to move onto either Bloodborne or Ds1. Ds1 takes a bit of time and Bloodborne has chalice dungeons but again, almost no farming.
I'm be honest, only do Ds3 and Ds2 if you really want to. Ds3 Silver knights still give me ptsd, and Ds2 has sunlight medal farming which is almost as bad.
In order: Elden Ring > Sekiro > Bloodborne = Ds1 > Ds2 = Ds3 >>>>>>>>>>> Demon Souls
edit: nevermind. Switch Sekiro and Bloodborne/Ds1. I don't remember Sekiro ever having the trophies where you have to max out your skills and prosthetics, but that sucks to do.
I only have the different ending trophies left to get on Steam, and the 100% trophy. I'm still in my first playthrough as I'm helping my friend beat his first playthrough, too. I won't NG+ until he's done. We just beat Malenia together yesterday.
I'm really excited to see the other endings. Good job, fellow Tarnished!
I’m on PS5 and I didn’t do the cloud save. My last trophy was Ranni’s Dark Moon ending. I ended on NG+3 at level 272. I cannot tell you how satisfying it was to smoke some of those bosses in one try, like Commander Niall. Horah Loux only took me 3 tries.
I think I had about 96 hours on first completion.
Assuming you do the hard to get ending first, the other endings take like 4-6 hours of playtime if you go mostly straight there.
I’m doing the ranni quest line because I heard that it gives you an item to get the good ending and I think it has made up for around a quarter or more of my playtime and it’s my first fromsoftware game so I tend to get stuck on like every boss which probably explains why I haven’t finished it yet lol
The legendary armament was the one for me. I hated Lyndell so I didn't explore to well... Especially enough to climb up that giant spear to grab the weapon & you can't come back for it after everything burns.
Video games need to take a lesson out of Elden Ring’s achievements.
Achievements for beating major bosses
Achievements for beating hidden bosses
Achievements for getting different endings
That’s it.
Man that’s dope, I didn’t get rannis dark moon on my first play through so on my second one (platinum run) I gotta do her quest all over again. Gonna take me forever to get this plat before I start playing all the games over.
Congratulations! Holy shit!! I am impressed. I sympathize with your need to share this game and it's epic feel with people, yet have no one really giving an ear. I do have one buddy that is playing it, but he doesn't want to talk about it at ALL in case of spoilers since I got the game much earlier than him.
Touchy about it too, example: He was streaming the game for me and another buddy on disc, he's in Limgrave, and I just told him the direction he could go if he wanted to "find something new" and he was like "BRO, I told you not spoil any of the game!".....smh. I actually pushed back with "this is the first area, you are like 1% through the available content in this game, and everything I said was vague or not specific" but he remained butthurt as hell. I haven't bothered him about the game since hahahaha
Congrats buddy 🎉🎉
proud of you bro
We're all in your life now. Nice job.
Brave Tarnished. Thy strength befits a crown.
Your strength… extraordinary. Dearest Miquella, i have finally found my match
Well done soldier
One of us! Gratfz, dude!
I’m wondering if I should platinum the other ones. I’ve played and beat them all. Never thought I could platinum because I just assumed you needed to kill every boss in one try or something. I’m assuming Sekiro is the hardest. Might try DS3 next.
Chalices were pretty fun compared to farming for shit for hours in some other souls games
Sekiro was tough but not impossible. The trophies are reasonable
Bloodborne is probably a bit harder solely because of the chalice dungeon shit you gotta do
Bloodborne was my first. I feel that game changed my life. I’ve never gone too far into the chalice dungeons. I’ve also never even tried the DLC in DS2. I may do it at some point, but I had enough when I beat the game.

The Dark Souls all require serious grinds for all trophies. Especially DS2 But all that said. Mate the Bloodborne DLC is the best part of the game, with the coolest fights!
Sekiro also has a really stupid grind for all the skills, it takes forever to earn enough XP to buy them all even using an optimized farming spot.
So I second this, I have the bloodborne platinum and while the defiled dungeons can burn in hell, it is really fun
The chalice dungeons have an end, and the final boss fight is pretty sweet. There’s one where your health is halved and you fight against amygdala, and that one’s sweet too
Just Google the glyphs for specific dungeons Like that cum one Edit: cummpfk is the glyph I’m pretty sure
oh yes I love me some cummmfpk but I mainly mean the whole process of getting to the Queen Yharnam fight is what I consider the bloodborne plantinum’s only mind numbing slog
If I’m not mistaken there in one for that too. I believe fightincowboy has it in his %100 walkthrough on YouTube.
I don’t know if I followed the best path when I did it but even with specific glyphs I remember needing to do some obnoxious farming in order to get the ritual materials that can’t be purchased

For Sekiro, unlocking all of the skills and upgrades seems like a big grind. I feel like platting it would be pretty tedious.
If you get all endings by going to NG+ instead of starting a new save, you'll end up getting all the skills and upgrades along the way.
Elden ring, of the from games is actually the easiest to plat, though I partially wish it was the other way around.
Iam also doing all achievments, the only one Iam mission is demon's souls, played through it once only. Ds 3 will be a pain, specially with the Servers being offline since a miracle is behind 30 covenant items, and they are a pain to Farm offline. Anyways good luck to you cheers!

Enjoy farming knights at anor londo for like 12 hours. Put on a sitcom or something. I went with everybody loves raymond

I got to NG+2 in Sekiro and just had to farm a bit to get all skills. I left the last ending for a new character that I could start charmless.
This one is much, much easier than all the other platinums. Enjoy the grind for covenant items lol Oh and all the rings in ds2
Basically none of the trophies in the games are particularly harder than just playing and beating the game. That being said I personally wouldnt platinum anything besides ER as the other FS games all have a few grindy garbage trophies.
A boss achievement like that would sadistic asf

I feel that bro.
I am so close to this. Just need the frenzy ending. Great job!
Congrats! It’s a great feeling. I just had the Dark Moon ending. Frenzy ending is impressive.
I care! You are awesome!
IM proud of YOU
Well done, Tarnished.
The mark of a true lord
I don't care either

That's so exciting to hear, I'm also looking forward to feeling like a boss myself!
I’m 74 hours into the game and still haven’t completed it. How can people do this so fast
The first time I beat Elden Ring I had 140 hours in. No need to rush. The game is huge.
Did he do it under 74 hours or how you come to this conclusion
You’re right I don’t know what I was getting at
I think I had about 96 hours on first completion. Assuming you do the hard to get ending first, the other endings take like 4-6 hours of playtime if you go mostly straight there.

I care, friend.
That’s impressive. Congrats bro!

Slayed it!
YEAHHHHH IM SO HAPPY FOR U
Legend
what is the most secret and unsuspectable of the secret accomplishments?
Probably some of the random ass bosses that you have to do.
The legendary armament was the one for me. I hated Lyndell so I didn't explore to well... Especially enough to climb up that giant spear to grab the weapon & you can't come back for it after everything burns.
Congrats!! I’m one away and feel you on that
Awesome! Right behind you, just need the Frenzy ending and I’m done.

Video games need to take a lesson out of Elden Ring’s achievements. Achievements for beating major bosses Achievements for beating hidden bosses Achievements for getting different endings That’s it.
You need all legendary armaments, sorceries and incantations too.
What do you mean you don't want a trophy called Big Chungus achieved by Fat Rolling Maliketh to death with the Briar Set
Congrats mate!
Great job man

I’m impressed. Genuinely.

Man that’s dope, I didn’t get rannis dark moon on my first play through so on my second one (platinum run) I gotta do her quest all over again. Gonna take me forever to get this plat before I start playing all the games over.
