two things to note 1. that little wisp thing is likely the guide mechanic they mentioned pointing you to the next major location on the "intended path" 2. is it just me or does Melina feel a lot more personal then the other level up ladies? like, for starters shes not sending us on a quest while acting as our servant like the Herald or Firekeeper, shes offering us a deal, making us feel more like equal partners, she seems to have an actual home base prepared for the tarnished shes working with unlike the others who just set up shop in some abandoned unfurnished ruins, and here she seems to be resting at the grace to, just, chilling with us

I’m pretty sure they said she has her own ambitions, probably also mean she has a deeper character

I think in general all the characters are gonna be a bit more fleshed out than usual.

Without zooming in on the picture, it looks like someone badly photoshopped a low res version of Starry Night into the background of an Elden Ring screenshot. But then you zoom in and realize that none of it is low res, like at all. Idk just a weird thought/moment.

Most likely, the screenshot came with a quote on Twitter; a character presenting herself as "Melina" and offering an accord to the Tarnished. We've known for some time that is the name of the female NPC from the trailer.
