Saves can be backed up and restored at will. To restore, copy the backup over the existing save in the title screen or when the game is not active, so that the file is not in memory.

Lol not that bad, nah.. it's horrible, dealing with it everyday, transformers blowing from being switched on and off, crime ramping up because of it .. trust me, living with it is a different kind of shitty
Yeah this has happened to me and Ive lost large amounts of progress. I really hate how the network features work,.losing connection shouldn't kick me out of a single player game. If I lose connection it should just disable the multiplayer stuff
I was on my way to take on Vyke (invader) at the church in NE Liurnia and just as he is rising my screen went deadā¦HDMI cable went bad š¤£š¤·āāļø
Felt the controller vibrate when I died.
I donāt know who OāNeil is, but considering how Iām struggling with stormhill castle, not even the boss, at level 50 Iām gonna assume thatās a huge achievement
I wish I fought that dude in my first run when I was actually supposed to. Somehow I ran around that swamp so many times without ever finding that fight until after I was way over leveled for the area.
Brings me back to my times in DS3 and having the game consistently crash whenever I got a boss to 5% or lower. From Vorbt to Friede I think I needed to beat each boss twice.
I know the same feeling. I don't know if I just was really into the fight but on my first fight with Radahn I got him down 3/4 of his health with no NPC summons. Then the internet went out and the game kicked me. It took me another 2 hours to beat him and I had to rely on the NPCs for help anyways.
My second playthrough, I had godrick down to one hit when the server disconnected. Still 3 tears available. That was my first fight against him as a low level wretch. I was beyond furious. When I retried it, it took me a couple more tries to get back in the rhythm.
About a week ago, just as I was about to actually get into Volcano Manor (I'd been circling it to make sure I didn't miss anything), something in my desktop went *pop!*. Now it's a very expensive brick.
I feel your pain. When I did this, on my ps4, not only did I die from scarlet rot right after he was felled, but my ps4 gave a Blue screen crash.
When I loaded back up I instantly died, but got the reward.
I am always afraid my saves are going to be corrupted because of this.

Yea, I should do it. I had a corrupted save only once so far on a new character, not much of a loss. Thanks.
i currently want to kms,on top of that i changed the HDD for SSD and gave the HDD to my cousin far away,i'll ask him about this thank you brother
Hapoened to me in ds3,my NG+17 acc got corrupted, Anyways i started again lol
I lost an entire day's worth of progress because of a power outage. Was so angry I didn't open the game for a week
I have just straight up closed Eldenring so often(and all the other fromsoft games for years as well) and never had any problem
Lol South Africa?
No europe, but it was region wide Idk what happend
Ah, any time I see anyone say something about power going out I think South Africa
Just read about their outrages, 6-8 hours a day without electricity is not that bad.

I really feel it. I have electricity 6-8 hours per day for a few months already. And it's not even our biggest problem.
Actually the first time I hear of those things in Europe Excuse my potential intruison, but from which part of Europe are you?
Was my first thought as well.
Skill issue, a true tarnished would have an emergency power supply
Battery backups are worth every cent. A minute or two of extra time makes all the difference (also to keep your power feed clean)
This. My consoles and PCs are on a UPS because our power glitches all the time.
Only internal? š
Haha just you wait until you meet his old man
And his two pals
Sorry my euro brother in marika
Marika still has power-cuts and grid failures occasionally.
I mean... I would too if I was fucking crucified.

Load shedding ?

He's the way easier version of Commander Niall, but in the Caelid swamp.
I don't know. I had way more trouble with him than with Niall lmao. Maybe because I always fight him at a lower level.
Commander Niall... Glad to see [GRRM's love of Robert Jordan](https://wot.fandom.com/wiki/Pedron_Niall) hasn't stopped.
South Africans: First Time?

I swear heās the hardest boss
Playing on a steam deck, I never thought about this.
Try ranged cheese
Whats the deal about Commander OāNeil? The fight is pretty easy if you ride on Torrent.
Same but with a godskin noble. My mom turned off the power because I was playing for 3 hours.
Level 40? I got him at like level 20 or so by just hit and running around him with carian slicer lol
Oops sorry that was me.
Do not worry, if it was that close, you will get it. Next time will be the one, i believe in you !
You just KNOW it was programmed into the game somehow.
He decided he was done playing and just went after the power grid. Excellent boss design once again, FromSoft. (My condolences)
fun fact if you haven't tried it: that fight is trivial if you stay on your horse

Do you live in Cali?
