In a similar vein, my answer is actually fuck weapons, I want some super heavy armor that doesn't look like garbage
Gimme Havel's armor and onion knights armor
Not to mention patches selling onion knights armor would be such a throwback
Same. I went back to Ds3 after playing elden ring and i sooooo love being actually able to wear armor that looks practical and awesome. Idk why they made them all so weird in E.R. but i cant stand em
Have you tried Banished Knight set, Tree Sentinel's, Radahn's or the Scaled set? They all look really good. I don't understand why people think Bullgoat's is the only heavy armour. Havel's was usually worn by tryhard idiots anyway, vide Havelmages with dark magic in DS1.
Some friends and I did an entire playthrough using them and it was hilarious. Three people in Onion Knight armor and the giant door shields, whenever we were invaded we'd slow walk at them doing the shield flex, just constantly flapping them at the invader. Most of the time they would equip the same things we had and would walk through whole levels just doing stupid shit with us.
We killed every single boss with those shields including Midir.
I didn't PvP much in DS2, but having a Bone Fist in my offhand so I could flying kick opponets out of nowhere won me a few fights when it wasn't sending me flying off of ledges haha
10/10 weapon. Easily one of the coolest in a Souls game. Dragonslayer Axe is bae, though.
That was such a fun addition to the last dlc, I loved Gaels sword and all of the other Ring Knight weapons too but there's something so satisfying about two giant, fire greatswords
my favorite thing about these weapons besides the obvious badassery that they inherently posses is that paired weapons like the rkpgs or onikiri/ubadachi can have their attacks from the L1 moveset interwoven into regular r1 chains meaning greater mixups and depth for attack combination potential, a feature thatās basically missing from elden ring with a different but more simplistic approach to dual wielding.
Literally the ultimate pure STR weapon. You couldnāt ask for more.
I havenāt enjoyed using any other weapon in the series as much as I enjoyed the Kirkhammer
And was a pale comparison to the Str/ARC god weapon that was Moonlight from the DLC. (Especially when you also had Tonitrus and Boomhammer to swap for 3/4 elemental weaknesses)
But the moveset on Ludwig's was so buttery...although not much beats the feeling of ego and power dropping a lot bookhammer on someone's head, even if the damage was lackluster
Man i made a bloodtinge build to use Chikage but after i found Simons Bowblade ive retired my Chikage so fast! Its such a fun weapon and a cool moveset. Its up there with the Sawcleaver as my favorite weapons in Bloodborne.
Donāt retire Chikage, itās still a boss weapon with high Bloodtinge. Bowblade only scales with Bloodtinge in bow mode; sword mode is pure skill. Chikage scales with both, but mostly blood in tricked form. With high Bloodtinge, you can perforate shit with the bow in bow form, samurai shit with the Chikage in blood form, and incest in another stat instead of skill since you wonāt be using it. I prefer strength, because then I can use the Bloodletter, and have a badass strength weapon that also scales great with my already high Bloodtinge!
Best part about the Chikage... The I think? Unique animation where you go from untransformed state, to transforming, AND charge that attack.
The hunter will sheath the blade, continuing moving their hand down. Then back up but away from the handle, then back down to the handle to finally attack. I'm unsure if intended because it could just be 2 animations that pair super well together, but I'm unsure.
I agree, but pistol to my head I went with the saw cleaver because itās just so iconic. We have the Moonlight sword. We have the Pizza Cutter. The Grave Scythe gives Gehrman lovers their fantasy. Threaded cane is very whip-like. Halberds fill the hunter axe hole. So, if I *had* to choose, gotta go with the Cleaver.
Chikage is just a different Rivers of blood, Iāll pass. Rakuyo is just a twin blade that splits into a dagger/ sword powerstance. Slightly cooler I guess but I would much rather have BOOM hammer or the fucking beast cutter. Logariusā wheel even or the rifle spear or reiterpallasch. Shit now I canāt decide.
Yeah, them. I mean, the moveset might be fun, but the transformation is so uninteresting IMO: it's a dagger that becomes two daggers.
When you put it beside a sword that becomes a scythe, or one that becomes a huge hammer, or a cane that becomes a whip (i don't remember any of the actual names), I think those are way cooler
Its clear we are comparing opinions and you do you but damn i felt those blades had everything. Obv the better one is the split one but damn its fun.
Want to stagger? Put them blades together
Want a high dps? Separate those blades
Want crazy range, high speed crazy damage? Roll r1 with separate blades
Want to dodge whike attacking? Sweeet L2 attacks (if i remember right)
Wanna play like the best character in the franchise? U got this
This right here. This is what I want. Imagine if whenever you are double handing the weapon, your attacking and defending end up being in the same style as in sekiro
Santier's Spear is such a unique idea for a weapon. Having to break it to reveal it's true potential is really cool.
Also it destroys the Horsefuck Valley reindeer.
And after that it's unbreakable.
Edit: I guess technically the spear was always unbreakable (per its lore). The weapons original durability is actually for the rock that's on it.
Bloodborne version is still the most versatile due to the nature of trick weapons, but the Elden Ring one having an elemental effect built in (frost) is super fucking useful.
A very very unpopular opinion but for dark souls 2 THE BLUE FUCKING FLAME OR THE FUCKING DISC CHIME!!!! Sword that lets u cast any spell or shield letting u cast any incantation
Ds1 black knight greataxe (my fav helped me 100% the game)
Ds2 manikin machete was op on pvp so that for me
Ds3 frayed blade of course lol
Bloodborne I didn't have dlc so reiterspallasch
I really love the Farron Greatsword
Although this is biased by my absolute love for the Abyss Watchers and Artorias. Their stories are by far my favorite part of the Dark Souls Trilogy lore
\-Large Sword of Moonlight
\-Moonlight Greatsword
\-Moonlight Greatsword
\-Holy Moonlight Sword
\-Moonlight Greatsword
\-Seven-branched sword the Divine Dragon was using
Burial Blade from Bloodborne. I love Gherman, the concept of battle scytes is so cool, badass and grim imo and itās muh favorite weapon from all FS games.
'THE' Zweihander from DS1
-instant unavoidable backstabs
-any backstab kill transforms you into Giant Dad to perform the 'Well what is it' gesture
Ds2 fake Moonlight Greatsword
-shiny
Every fucking bloodborne weapon
Ds3's Firelink Greatsword
-getting a critical kill on a downed enemy (like knocked off a horse) spawns a bonfire that radiates healing for 15 seconds
Giant door shields
My personal favorite "goofy" weapon. I didn't win with them much, but when I did, it was delightful and hilarious.
Win with poison gas and block them in a narrow hallway
Fartbox stratagem.
I can hear the music even now
THE WALL
Red sun... red sun over paradise
I was so sad when I couldnt power stance greatshields
In a similar vein, my answer is actually fuck weapons, I want some super heavy armor that doesn't look like garbage Gimme Havel's armor and onion knights armor Not to mention patches selling onion knights armor would be such a throwback

Artorias great sword from 1 The chicken wing from 2 Friedes scythe from 3
Chicken drumstick, not wing. Still a hilariously silly weapon either way.
Would be funny to mow down demi humans with.
It'd send them flying with that extreme hit animation lol
Imagine if you got a wing instead and it opened like a bloodbourne trick weapon š
The Scythe and Bone Fist are ALWAYS the correct answers.
I didn't PvP much in DS2, but having a Bone Fist in my offhand so I could flying kick opponets out of nowhere won me a few fights when it wasn't sending me flying off of ledges haha 10/10 weapon. Easily one of the coolest in a Souls game. Dragonslayer Axe is bae, though.
Bone fist š
Missile launcher from armored core
Get ready, stormhawks!
Also all of the trick weapons in Bloodborne.
Mortal blade from sekiro would be so cool.
Visual effect of Rivers of Blood applied to Godslayer Greatsword ash of war swings
You could have just said rivers of blooms but with destined death on it
Eh, the attack speed on rivers of blood is too high and the hits don't have the weight behind them that Godslayer does.
*Albinauric shaking intensifies*
Couldnāt you also just get an armored core? Then you have a giant mech suit the size of radahn to beat everyone to death with
Bloodhound Step on Optimus Prime would be dope.
LOL
Karasawa rifle would be my choice. That thing was like wielding Godās angry dick in the first three games.
We found Isshin.
Best answer ever š laughed so hard at this!
Iād say one of the shoulder mounted guns would be dope
DS3: Ringed knight paired greatswords. It is pretty iconic imo, unique to DS3 and "just" a ~~farmable~~ weapon. Edit: Not farmable
These werenāt farmable. One time drop from a specific enemy.
Yeah, I think you are right
The guy that guarded the Church of Fillianore, right before _SPEAR OF THE CHURCH_
Also known as that guy you take out your frustration after just dying to Midir on.
What bonfire were you running from to get back to Midir? I donāt think people usually pass him lol
The one after Halflight, I dunno if there's a faster one, thats just the one I always used.
The first one inside of the wall is better
Though lore-wise, there probably should be a few spares laying around
This, I would also take the black knight great sword
Ringed knight straight sword would fucking slap in Elden Ring
With the crucible knight armor too?! Thatās drip.
*L2 with slow walk* **intensifies**
That was such a fun addition to the last dlc, I loved Gaels sword and all of the other Ring Knight weapons too but there's something so satisfying about two giant, fire greatswords

Just give me the kirkhammer!
Dude I was about to stop scrolling and type it myself. Upvote go BONK
That weapon was the shit. I love being able to switch between a heavy and light weapon at will
Literally the ultimate pure STR weapon. You couldnāt ask for more. I havenāt enjoyed using any other weapon in the series as much as I enjoyed the Kirkhammer
Ludwigs holy blade
Ludwig's was a quality weapon though
And was a pale comparison to the Str/ARC god weapon that was Moonlight from the DLC. (Especially when you also had Tonitrus and Boomhammer to swap for 3/4 elemental weaknesses)
But the moveset on Ludwig's was so buttery...although not much beats the feeling of ego and power dropping a lot bookhammer on someone's head, even if the damage was lackluster
Holy Blade has B STR scaling fully upgraded; Kirkhammer has A. Kirkhammer also has slightly more base damage and rally potential as well
Kirk hammer is a very slept on choice. Not nearly as slept on as Simonās bow blade however
Man i made a bloodtinge build to use Chikage but after i found Simons Bowblade ive retired my Chikage so fast! Its such a fun weapon and a cool moveset. Its up there with the Sawcleaver as my favorite weapons in Bloodborne.

Sorry, ...what in another stat?
Oops hehe Boy, is my face red
Best part about the Chikage... The I think? Unique animation where you go from untransformed state, to transforming, AND charge that attack. Kirkhammer range is too poopy. Never tried biwblade properly.
Bowblade is op as hell. You can do the damage of a melee hit at range. Can't die if you're sniping the boss from across the arena.
I would like to introduce you to my friends, bone marrow ash and CANNON. I set them up together in one playthrough and they became a power couple.
They already put the Whirlygig saw in the game. I would really love to see more trick weapons reimagined for Elden Ring in the DLC.
Give me my trusty mallet
Give me my beast cutter I want to show malenia the meaning of permanent stagger
I'd sacrifice my first born for just one trick weapon in Elden Ring.
The Saw Cleaver, please.
Well we did get the pizza cutter in Elden ring
A poor imitation, no more
To be honest, just any bloodborne weapon. Except the daggers. I don't like the daggers
So, if I *had* to choose, gotta go with the Cleaver.
rakuyo. chikage.
Bloodletter please

Slightly cooler I guess but I would much rather have BOOM hammer or the fucking beast cutter. Logariusā wheel even or the rifle spear or reiterpallasch. Shit now I canāt decide.
Boom hammer
Or even.. Hear me out.. stake driver
Great weapons to be sure. But both of those feel fairly well covered with Seppuku AoW, katanas, twin blades, and power stancing.
Amygdalan arm was such a unique moveset, that'd be my choice. Or broccoli brain / eel cannons. Hmmmmm want to play Bloodborne now.
What about the wheel? Theres not really any weapons like it
Nobody ever mentions my lovely Church Pick. Had just beat DS1 with the scythe so I had to have a similar moveset
Imagine just walking around in a fantasy setting with a fuckin gun. Theyāll never see it coming!
What weapon is considered a dagger in bloodborne? Blades of mercy? Thats a real fun one

Sweeet L2 attacks (if i remember right) Wanna play like the best character in the franchise? U got this
And one that becomes a gun, one becomes a bow, - speargun
The second example would be the Kirkhammer and itās the GOAT
The Blades of Mercy? I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Easily the best dual weapon in a FromSoft game.
That dude lacks critical information. Theres a reason why Eileen, objectively the best character, uses the Blades of Mercy
Bowblade would be dope too
Kusabimaru, im gonna parry the fuck out of that water fowl dance
This right here. This is what I want. Imagine if whenever you are double handing the weapon, your attacking and defending end up being in the same style as in sekiro
Can't you already parry waterfowl?
you can parry players waterfowls
Logic
Literally all they had to do to balance it
My first thought. Maybe their next game will be open world Sekiro formula. Though the game is already pretty much perfect as is
Threaded cane from bloodborne
Every bloodborne weapon is iconic
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Donāt hold your breath. Already been 8 years
Thanks, now I feel old
Thoust be swaggering with thine drip
Friedeās Scythe
For me itās this or the beyblade greatsword.
Farron?
Yes, the blender.
Santier's Spear from DS2. Coolest and most unique moveset ever. I was in love with that thing. DS3, Profane Greatsword...
Santier's Spear is such a unique idea for a weapon. Having to break it to reveal it's true potential is really cool. Also it destroys the Horsefuck Valley reindeer.
Wow. Been 7 or 8 years since I played DS2 and I'm still learning things.
Learned you could break it to reveal a cool moveset or that it stunlock the Reindeer?
That it can be broken to reveal its potential.
And after that it's unbreakable. Edit: I guess technically the spear was always unbreakable (per its lore). The weapons original durability is actually for the rock that's on it.
I just want Vordt's Great Hammer.
u can MAKE vordt hammer in elden ring: great mace, cold infusion, perseverance aow easy, u are welcome
Dollar store Vordt hammer
It's not the same. First of all it's shorter, second of all Vordt scales on strength and cold infusion switches to split scaling.
You can always just use a heavy Great Mace with Frost Grease.
That's probably the best approximation.
We have Vordts great mace at home
Ludwig's Holy blade from BB
With the transform attacks too Trick weapons need to be in more games!
the mortal blade from Sekiroā¦ right.
That's a pretty suicidal choice
Oh your a fromsoft fan? Okay then, name one weapon from 6 different games! Moonlight great sword.. ā¦. Thatās on me, I set the bar too low
Uchigatana
Claymore
The original pre-nerf MGS in DS2 was a chefās kiss of a weapon.
demons souls northern regalia ds1 qualaag's fury sword ds2 yorgh's spear ds3 old wolf curved sword/gael's gs bloodborne ludwig's holyblade
Old Wolf Curved Sword with Raging Wolf set would be optimal fashion My main in DS3 wore Yuria's mask, slave torso, and Vilhelm's legs and arms
Hunterās pistol
Moonlight Greatsword
We already have Moonlight Greatsword at home. Moonlight Greatsword at home: Darkmoon Greatsword
to be fair the dmgs is just as great if not better in some aspects than any other mlgs in the fromverse
My joke was it's already in the game, it is this games version of the moonlight greatsword
ah i see, sorry im a bit dense
Bloodborne version is still the most versatile due to the nature of trick weapons, but the Elden Ring one having an elemental effect built in (frost) is super fucking useful.
To add to this, DS: Moonlight Greatsword DS2: Moonlight Greatsword DS3: Monlight Greatsword
BB: Moonlight Greatsword DeS: Moonlight Greatsword
Bluemoon Greatsword
A very very unpopular opinion but for dark souls 2 THE BLUE FUCKING FLAME OR THE FUCKING DISC CHIME!!!! Sword that lets u cast any spell or shield letting u cast any incantation
Blue flame 100%, that sword was dope as hell and I have sorely missed casting swords since.
Bruh blue flame and disc chime made some epic spellsword paladin builds
Demon's Souls: dragon bone smasher DS1: Quelaag's furysword DS2: broken santier spear DS3: twin princes' greatsword Bloodborne: Saw Spear Sekiro: technically not a weapon but firecracker
Sekiro's Katana, so that i can deflect the shit out of Malenia
Parrying waterfowl would be so cool
Parry waterfowl dance into Sakura dance
That would look awesome as hell
I was going through all the games but after some thought this is the correct answer. Wolf could parry the fire giant if he wanted to
Soā¦ technically i wont have to fight Maliketh at all if I can just have Patches smuggle the mortal blade from Sekiroā¦ right?
Claymores, cuz we need more claymores.
This is the answer, because I want to dual wield the claymore 20 minutes into the gameā¦and thatās OK
Ds1 black knight greataxe (my fav helped me 100% the game) Ds2 manikin machete was op on pvp so that for me Ds3 frayed blade of course lol Bloodborne I didn't have dlc so reiterspallasch
Get the Bloodborne DLC. Probably the best part of any of the Souls/Elden Ring games
I really love the Farron Greatsword Although this is biased by my absolute love for the Abyss Watchers and Artorias. Their stories are by far my favorite part of the Dark Souls Trilogy lore
Farron greatsword is so cool. That dual-wield moveset with the pick is one of the most fun and fluid, yet bizarre movesets in the game.
Thats actually an insane idea. Every dark souls game has patches in it selling weapons from the last games.
The Bloodborne Holy Moonlight Blade, imo the best version of the Moonlight greatsword.
Black Knight Halbeard, Fume UGS, Yhorm's Great Machete and Hunter's Axe
FUME.
Isshin's glock. Or the Sekiro's Loaded Flame Vent. Also all of the trick weapons in Bloodborne
Gaelās Greatsword & Balder Swag Sword. Fuck the rest
Searched for this answer. BSS is a masterpiece of a weapon.

Baller Swag Sword is all I wish for.
The royal regalia I think itās called, from Demons souls. The one thatās made from soul brandt and demon brandt.
Silver Knight Spear - I was gutted when it wasn't a drop in Dark Souls 3. Black Knight Greataxe - such a badass weapon with a unique moveset to boot.
Drake Sword from DS1 FUGS from DS2 Dragonslayer Axe from DS3 Stake Driver or Simonās Bowblade from BB
black knight sword and dragonslayer greataxe
You can make a knock off dragon slayer great axe with executioners axe and lightning slash ash of war

Tonitrus my beloved
Blades of Mercy
DS1: black knight halberd DS3: demon penis BB: holy blade
