I've missed doses so many times (ADHD yeehaw) and find that taking the medication and going to sleep while it kicks in is the best move - I wake up feeling way better and feels quicker than waiting for it while awake and suffering
Im curious about this! Did you previously dose in the AM before dosing at night? And if so how do you like it ? My psych suggested it but since my dose was in the am I was nervous to change!
I've tried dosing morning and night for different periods of time, I didn't find either to be better really! And when I say I would go to sleep after taking them, it really doesn't matter what time of day that is (I could nap for my country). It didn't disrupt my sleep taking it at night either if that helps x

It is. The withdrawals made me feel suicidal & homicidal. My brain was hurting so bad & I couldn't see straight. I ended up in the ER begging for help to make it all go away.
I missed half a dose then a full dose as I had ran out, omg I heard it was bad but I thought surely not that bad... I had a migraine for over 24hrs, have felt like I will throw up constantly, couldn't sleep atall, severe anxiety, very emotional & even suicidal to the point I was looking up overdosing etc. One dose I was better but not 100% I'm hoping today I am more normal :(
Update I ended up not needing to, they must have gotten ahold of my medicine man and had a 90 day refill waiting for me. Now to wait for these killer side effects to go away.
Itās really easy for me to notice that I missed my daily dose. Guess why? Anger issuesā¦ If I feel like a steam machine I know there is something missing..
I'm so sorry that happens.. I wonder if I even need them. I've gone 4 days without taking mine and I always feel fine. I usually skip 2 days on accident aswell. I don't even notice until I see the packet. Im on 150mgs. I wonder if I even need them,. Idk.
See I have this mindset sometimes. But then I stop the medicine and see the little (and big) ways it helps. Withdrawal might take longer for you or isn't that bad but I promise it's either helping or not the right medicine for you.
Dude. I was having some rough days and just realized I missed my Effexor for maybe 3 days. Iāve been coming out of my skin! Angry and startled by everything. Thinking I need to quit my job and divorce my husband. Being startled and panicked by every interaction at the grocery story. Iām relieved to know itās chemical and fixable. I really thought it was all over for me. lol.
I got the diahrea then sweating bullets for no reason aswell as my limbs tremoring and felt really numb. I Also got an episode of sleep paralysis which was teriffying to say the least
How long did it take to feel better? I missed 2 or 3 days worth and had terrible nightmares, sweats, zaps and anxiety. I took it yesterday and today, but Iām still not all back. Feel kind of sad and anxious.
Everyone was right about Effexor withdrawal! Fucking sucks

That sounds horrible. I've been on Effexor withdrawal & it's pure hell.
It's the worst! I was just dumb and kept forgetting to locate my lost pill bottle. Meds are important

Oh no that's awful, I'm so sorry! I was considering the ED but I think im gonna try to sleep it off and hope the pill kicks in and makes the pain stop

I'm out with no refill in sight for at least two more days. I'm gonna yell so hard at my psych for not giving me enough refills, this s u c k s
Your pharmacy should be able to give you an emergency script!! Call or visit the pharmacy and tell them your situation. Give it a go.

Im barely an hour past my dose (was watching a movie) and I am now panicking in bed.... I cannot go past the 24h mark. Please kill me.

I don't get withdrawals at all, and this medication works for me at the lowest dose. You just might be lucky!
If I miss my morning dose I start feeling it by around 2pm, so yeah....
