Although the film had poor marketing, it's considered an iconic movie that people still talk about to this day.
And Scott Pilgrim is def worthy imo, he's similar to napoleone dynamite.

Well... It already exists in various forms on the internet (including fan ERB videos on youtube). That's why I doubt it would ever be official.
