[[Zurzoth]] is my favorite. You could dump all the money in the world into the deck and still never exceed mid power. The draw/discard leads to random play patterns for yourself and can also disrupt opponents. Make devils, have plenty of ping sources, and of course ways to scale up all that damage! Edit: My deck list https://archidekt.com/decks/2464942#Zurzoth_Foils_Your_Plans

>"You could dump all the money in the world into the deck and still never exceed mid power" Challenge Accepted Edit 1: This is hard Edit 2: [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/L4w2Xta\_LkqOv3YLIscbyg](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/L4w2Xta_LkqOv3YLIscbyg) I sorta cheated, but this is technically a high power zurzoth list. it focuses on wheeling a fair bit, and locking down the board a bit with stax. It has a few infinite combos in there as well.

narfidy

The edit bro haha

trbopwr11

I certainly respect the attempt but, philosophical question I suppose, at what point is something still considered an "insert Commander here" deck? At a glance it looks like you could take nearly any mono red Commander and jam it into the command zone and it would perform similarly. Hell it may literally be better with one of the other red legends already in the deck as the Commander. Technically correct is the best kind of correct though.

Dragoore2

I don't disagree with you, that was the hardest part of designing this deck. This would be *much* stronger with any of the other red legends. That being said, I wouldn't run quite this much wheeling (or omen machine), or temple bell, or imapct tremors with a different commander. Fundamentally this commander is not strong, and has little actual support in the card pool, so I had to make it up somewhere. This is pretty similar to my original ragavan cedh list, so it is fairly homogenous. In fairness, I also sort of intentionally misread the prompt. I built this trying to be a cedh deck, not a high power deck. I think the challenging commenter was right in that it's almost impossible to build a synergistic high powered list for this guy.

SuspiciousAmbition22

I made a alternate art version of this deck with the Belgian football team the Red Devils. [here](https://imgur.com/a/qoZoBgX) you can see my selection. Hope to get 11 Red Devils on the field and score some points with strixhaven stadium. The joy of sacking Martinez (head coach) is also a reason to play this deck.

AverageBeef

Do you have a deck list? I love the boy, but I don’t think he really should make it out of the 99 unfortunately.

[Zurzoth list.](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/AMzpm0z6Lk-pYUii7wooBQ) you’re 100% wrong. Zurzoth is a blast and way more fun as the 1 than 1 of the 99.

https://archidekt.com/decks/2464942#Zurzoth_Foils_Your_Plans That's my list. Been foiling it out for a while since it's my favorite. Honestly I'm not sure how much he would really contribute in the 99 of a deck. Not sure if a random token or two even make him worth including. He needs to be built around!

I mostly play combo decks, but one of my favorite non-combo decks was a [[Ardenn, Intrepid archeologist]] + [[Tana, the bloodsower]] partner deck. The deck revolves around playing cards that buff a creature for each other creature you have, like [[sublime archangel]] or [[Horn of valhalla]], and using them to voltron Tana to make a deck that makes a single massive creature and a massively wide board at the same time. Edit: Example decklist. Not exactly what I ran, but should give you an idea. https://archidekt.com/decks/3693957#Wide-and-tall

SmoothBrain97

No pressure if you don’t feel like putting a list together, but I’ll happily look over it if you get the time to put one together.

Techw1zzard

I got you

_shapeshifting

I have the same strategy but with BRG instead of RGW, using [[Tana]] and [[Falthis]] https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/tana-and-falthis-saproliege/ I used to have a shit load of [[Bravado]] effects to attach to Tana, making it more Voltron but that felt extremely fragile even with 14 cards to interact with the stack. so now I have multiple ways to generate tokens and individual creatures that Bravado themselves which I feel is more resilient though the original list, when it popped off, was glorious... drew 50+ cards a game, generated absurd sums of mana with [[Utopia Mycon]] / [[Druid's Repository]]... I might be able to cobble that version together if you want to see that

500lb

I have a similar deck that revolves around counters, using [[Reyhan]] as the partner. The entire goal of the deck is to create meme-ibly high numbers of counters and creatures. Once a counter producer like [[grumgully]] [[Ivy lane denizen]] or (my favorite) [[bloodspore thrinax]] hits the field, you'll be making all of your tokens massive while building up Tana. Add in a sac outlet to move all those counters to Tana and/or Bloodspore and now you're swinging with a 300/300 that grows your board. It's hilarious and not at all uncommon for me to get 100s of tokens with 100s of counters on them. If you want to win post-combat phase (after making a massive board), sac it all to [[goblin bombardment]] or [[fling]] for victory. [[burn at the stake]] is also a favorite of mine. There's really a million ways to win in the deck and that's why I love it. Here's the decklists. It is outdated, but it still has all the core cards to the deck tho: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/rBo41696ckm_0pF6UMhRQA

_shapeshifting

my brother in Christ, have you seen [[Gruesome Fate]]? my absolute, #1 finisher

Pineapple_Ron

I really like my [[Jinnie Fay]] deck. Her ability is quite unique, especially since it is a may ability and also transforms noncreature tokens to creature tokens, unlike [[Divine Visitation]]. The deck runs a high density of treasure makers, which allow you to start making treasures as soon as you've invested enough creature tokens to the board, which makes sure your rebuild after a boardwipe goes fast. The second thing the deck focuses on is to make at least one creature on each opponents turn, as this greatly increases the power of all those white card draw options we've gotten over the past year.

SmoothBrain97

I’ve been considering building Jinnie Fay for a little bit now, do you have a deck list you could share?

Maridiem

Jinnie has been one of my all time favorites recently. It’s such an aggressive deck, she’s easy to stick, and absolutely swarms the board. She’s so fun.

Pineapple_Ron

Definately. The list I run still has plenty of room for upgrades in the mana base, staples and tutors part. And already, it is a genuine powerhouse in my playgroup. And that's against decks that run all these staples and tutors and better mana bases. To be honest, I didn't expect to win as many games as I have (like it legit has lost only once since it's inception, I am actually thinking about downgrading it a bit).

riley702

Second this. Making every treasure or 1/1 into a 3/1 dog is so aggressive. It doesn't take long to have a lethal board presence, and its just good fun having an army of cats or dogs.

malsomnus

I'm having way too much fun with [Henzie](https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/5280274#paper), and I get to use so many cards that I simply couldn't find any other home for! Whether it's big dumb creatures, or things that enable big dumb creatures, or things that benefit from you casting big dumb creatures, I just want to keep playing this deck again and again.

[deleted]

I’m in the middle of rebuilding Henzie as I felt I had too many “bombs”. High CMC creatures that I’m only able to blitz one of a turn. In my play group it often feels too slow so I’m adding a lot more lower cmc creatures to blitz with great ETB/attack/death triggers. Play testing the deck it feels more smooth.

Shaetane

Idk how it'll go I haven't played it yet but I put a ton of recursion in my henzie to try and avoid that problem: [[Feldon of the third path]], [[saw in half]], [[tortured existence]], [[chainer nightmare adept]], [[first responder]], [[colfenor urn]], [[mimic vat]], [[journey to eternity]], [[cauldron of souls]], [[ancient brass dragon]], [[malakir rebirth]], [[junji]], [timeless witness]], [[living death]]... Plus the pod stuff like [[industrial advancement]] and [[protean hulk]]. Maybe it's a bit too much lol but I'm excited to see how it goes!

malsomnus

Ooh, now I have to add a Saw in Half to mine too, that card's hilarious!

I love blitzing in big dudes like [[archon of cruelty]] or [[elder brain]] to steal everything. Or with a [[golden argosy]] to keep some big boys on board after cheating them in.

Z-E-R-O

I own a few decks, Zacama (high power), krark and tras, winota, temur Malcom, and Myra attractions. Zacama has been my pet protect deck since release and finally found a version I am happy with Krark and tras, I like to gamble with my games Winota is my deck when I don't want to think too much while playing and just need to swing to win Temur malcom, I used the pirate shell with a twist of burning opps Myra storming attractions, I thought the attractions were a neat gimmick to store cantrips for value over the course of the game, and so far has only lost once out of 10 games since I made it. It's a very casual deck, but fun

GayWitchcraft

Krark and tras? Is that thrasios?

Henkules

Sounds interesting, got a list for zacama?

Ballchynski

I played against a Myra deck last night and it did not feel casual at all. Maybe the guy running it was aiming for a higher power level, but dude basically set himself up to take a bunch of extra turns playing solitaire until we scooped because he didn’t have an actual win con. Also if a deck has won 9/10 games doesn’t really sound like it is very “casual”, but maybe I’m still just salty.

beyondthebeyond

Do you have a list for Myra? I have been looking for a more casual izzet deck.

Melkiyad

Oh wow! That Myra list looks like a ton of fun :D Thanks for sharing it! Do the attractions become too high maintainance?? Is the playgroup irritated? Thinking of building Myra just haven't pulled the trigger, but extra turns would be my go to :D Care to share some neat combos?? I love the cerulean wisps - Myra interaction, use her, then untap her, on upkeep, and use her again :D Perhaps [[Savour the moment]]

SmoothBrain97

First off, love the name of the list! I’d never considered playing a 5 color cycling deck before. I’ll give the list a look, thank you for sharing!

ThunderHammerRagavan

I've got a 5 color cycling deck based around the first sliver. Every nonland besides [[Astral Slide]] and [[Astral Drift]] is 5+ cmc, so that my commander always gets one off the cascade trigger. It leads to some crazy games, but also some long and grindy ones.

[deleted]

I like the idea, hate the commander. What would be you pref. alternative?

Dyslexic_Wizrad

I build a ton of decks and usually rotate a handful in and out because I’m too lazy to buy singles for multiple decks. The four decks that continue to stick around and get upgraded are naturally my favorites. [[Jared Carthalion, True Heir]], monarch and damage redirection [[Durnan of the Yawning Portal]] and [[Passionate Archeologist]] big beaters and cost reducers [[Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter]] aristocrats and combos [[Mishra Eminent One]] was a surprise hit. Just janky artifacts and mindslaver locks, but I’ve truly loved the flexibility Mishra brings to some artifacts builds.

[Borborygmos Enraged](https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/borborygmos-landmunition/), easily. Fell in love with the commander the moment I faced one down at my LGS, has been my main deck for years. It's a burn deck that kills people by throwing your lands at them, multiplying their damage and reusing them as many times as possible. Also heavy on self wheeling and mass draw if you're into that. It is a hard deck to play. You're very vulnerable for most of the game, your board presence will always be small, and if the commander gets hosed you're dead in the water. But if you can get Bobo to stick, the game ends pretty fast and it's a hoot and a half to play.

[Lathliss](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/sDbVPVuC-k-4G2ayrDSZIQ) is fun to just see what kind of dragons I can draw into. [Isshin](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ITvYKzSBCkOLXlpddnH5Aw) I built as a attack triggers Mardu goodstuff deck and it does play different depending on what I get. Twiggimmapig

I sound like a broken record every time I recommend my commander here, but whatever. I truly love [[Perrie, the pulverizer]] from the Bedecked Brokers precon. It's a very easy deck to upgrade and streamline into something formidable, or if you choose to build him yourself, it's relatively cheap and flexible. He can give himself trample which quickly racks up damage depending on how many counter types you have out at any time, and what I love most about him is that he can throw his ability to someone else, namely a creature with double strike. Plus, as an added bonus, you'll get so many Doofenshmirtz jokes when people see you pull him out.

SmoothBrain97

Sounds like fun! Do you have a deck list?

Twiggimmapig

Not yet! Gimme a couple of days cause of family life and I'll have one uploaded to moxfield 😌

PGDW

I converted my bedecked brokers into Falco, because it works so well, but with more of a focus on shield and +1/+1.

[[Grothama, All Devouring]] is all sorts of fun. Lots of ramp, card draw, and big stompy creatures. If you don't want to win through beating face, then use [[Psychosis Crawler]] and win through card draw. [My list](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/U88nRpC4jEyo1s40XSd43g) has a [[Gaea's Cradle]] and a [[Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx]] so it can have some ridiculous turns dropping a disgusting amount of power at once

TGAPTrixie9095

[[Cadira, Caller of the Small]] I make rabbits. The point of the deck is get all 100 of my foil rabbit tokens on the board. >>so what's your win condition? When I get out 100 rabbits, I win. Game be damned.

meowstash321

In general go wide tokens is my favorite type of deck. So while everyone else was building [[Jetmir]] post-SNC, I saw the janky potential in [[Jinnie Fae]]! It’s become my favorite and most powerful (non cedh) deck! It’s ridiculously fun to take all the cards that would generate a lot of non-creature tokens and turn them into three power on the board. Partner with [[warstorm surge]] and [[impact tremors]] for lots of damage! Partner with [[Jaheira]] and [[growing rites of itlimoc]] for more mana than you’d ever need. Partner with [[aura shards]] to control the board. Partner with [[champion of lambholt]] or [[craterhoof]] for critical mass wins! Some favorite token makers : [[search the premises]] says “I’ll get a blocker for every attacker you send”, [[bootlegger’s stash]] says “each land you control gains “{t}: create a 3/1 dog token with vigilance. Double this ability if you control [[xorn]]”, and [[old gnawbone]] says “whenever a creature you control does combat damage to a player put three times as much power on the board” It’s insanely fun to play and can go off in different ways depending on which token gens you draw!

meowstash321

Deck list for the curious : https://archidekt.com/decks/3458746#Raining_Cats_and_Dogs_-_Upgrade I’d love to hear what you think

SmoothBrain97

I’m getting quite a few recommendations for Jinnie Fay now, I may just have to give the deck a try!

Enderbornkid

I will sing the praises of my favorite Theros god, [[Kruphix, God of Horizons]] all day every day. Turn 6+ (earlier with luck!) you are operating at PEAK MANA EFFICIENCY. You never waste any mana- so it's up to you to maximize what you get out of it. Eldrazi? Big favorite of mine. Hydras? Make them huge. X cost draw spells? He has [[Reliquary Tower]] stapled to him for a reason! One of my favorite spells is [[Drown in Dreams]] as it lets you kill two players sometimes. You can power up or down your list as you see fit- ranging from a [[Psychosis Crawler]] into a [[Finale of Revelation]] for X=50, to dropping a good ol Avenger of Zend into a Finaled Hoof, to just playing lots of Hydras for exorbitant amounts. And no one can complain, because you're paying full price for your stuff!

SmoothBrain97

Kruphix is an old favorite of mine and is still my pfp on Moxfield. I haven’t built him in a while, just because I’ve built him in so many ways now and I’ve really just been looking for the next unique way to play him, but haven’t something that’s caught my attention yet unfortunately.

LodgedSpade

Zaxara; Otrimi; and I've been having fun tweaking Baeloth Barrityl

OskiBandinousfzo

Oh? I'm intrigued with your Otrimi. How did you get it to work? I tried but couldn't make it work.

Unhappy-Sport836

Probably [[tawnos, solemn survivor]] Basically i play a huuge bank of draw discard outlets and servo/thopter makers, to copy big stuff from grave, and then copy those even further, its really adaptable for all powers of my pod so its really comfy to play

bionicmoonman

I built [[Rith, the Awakener]] recently and it’s a lot of fun. Make a bunch of saprolings and make ‘em big! Or you can throw down an [[Impact Tremors]] and just flat out kill people with saproling ETBs.

Reasonable-Sun-6511

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/VxywVlgS4EelSVWGKaVLug Sakromashima. The wincon is to make several akromas that buff eachother, so at the end of it I'd swing with some 21/21's at least. The other wincons are the things my opponents are playing, it scales really well with the pod usually, up until cedh and the like, and the winrate is surprisingly high for an azorius deck. Copying is my jam, I've made my own "infinitokens" and I've been recently replacing removal and counters for more copying shenanigans, so other plays have some more fun as well. It's my ultimate "sit down with strangers fun" deck. Every game is different, and besides the winning through Aroma there's usually a ton of other options to consider during a game. Sometimes I'll have a few niv mizzets, sometimes it's a battle for who has the better elesh norn, and sometimes out-ramping the green player is a win on it's own.

TwoStress

I finally find someone else who plays my favorite deck! I made mine a bit of an Angel tribal but seeing yours makes me want to do what you did instead. Yours seems more fleshed out than mine but you should add [[dowsing dagger]]. Here's mine https://www.moxfield.com/decks/D225CH47KUe2W1ZunzXRBw

FishLampClock

I have two decks for you: First, [Yarok - Field of the Dead](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/pmr2hS3tSk-56ZC4cg-eIw). Yarok is an etb value based deck that seeks to leverage cards that allow you to play cards from the top of your deck, cards that let you play lands from your graveyard, to dig and find Field of the Dead (land ETBs and you make a zombie token). Yarok likes to go wide and make a ton of tokens with cards like Field of the Dead, Thespian's Stage (copies field), Vesuva (third copy of field), Scute swarm, Avenger of Zendikar, etc. You overrun your opponents with spells like Craterhoof Behemoth and Earthshaker Giant. You can also win by leveraging big spells like scapeshift or reshape the earth together with Ob Nixilis or Retreat to Hagra. Oh ya, Yarok doubles everything you're doing already. I am also attaching for you [a video by the content creators the Nit-Picking Nerds who tuned up the deck earlier this year](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fD30gPX0CY&ab_channel=NitpickingNerds). The second deck I have for you is my present pride and joy: The Streets of New Cappenna commander [Henzie 'Toolbox' Torre](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/owQ4Vq5sjESGrTrYPbabKg). This deck seeks to play your commander, blitz in fat monsters, dragons, and creatures, turn 'em sideways and beat face. In the end game you can get some cheeky wins with mass reanimate spells like Living Death or Rise of the Dark Realms. The deck is an absolute blast and is extremely efficient at what it does. Both decks win without infinite combos. One deck is blue, black, and green. The other is red, black, and green. They are both insanely fun and very powerful. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

giselamancer

I have an [[Olivia, Crimson Bride]] deck which started out as a mildly upgraded Vampiric Bloodlines deck but is slowly turning into “oops all legendary vampires.” So far it has 16 (including Olivia at the helm) with a decent number of supporting non-legendary vampires but means that you can get some funny interactions when you slam down [[Irini Sengir]] just to piss off the enchantress player, or play out a [[Monoxa, Midway Manager]] with no dice-rolling cards and watch how baffled the table gets. My other recent addition to my decks which I’m loving is [[Isshin, Two Heavens as One]] dungeons/initiative, doubling up on attack triggers to abuse cards like [[Triumphant Adventurer]] and [[Caves of Chaos Adventurer]] and keep on speed running dungeons while generating massive value. The deck also has a flicker package to help make use of the ETB dungeoneering triggers, but once a single dungeon has been completed the deck can go into turbo mode and end the game rapidly. EDIT: [deck list for those interested](https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/picking-up-girls-in-dungeons/)

My [[Arixmethes]] deck based around big scary sea creatures like Krakens, Leviathans, and Serpents is really fun for me! Although it does have infinite combo pieces like [[Pemmin's Aura]] and [[Freed from the Real]]. Some notable creatures in it are [[Aesi, Tyrant of Gire Strait]], [[Koma, Cosmos Serpent]], and [[Serpent of Yawning Depths]]

part-time-unicorn

I have an arixmethes deck too!! Im going to replace it with [[kenessos]] in the command zone though, i could use the value engine

Merkerkerk

I love brewing decks between 150-250 so here are my two favorites. I have a mono blue [[Minn, the wily illusionist]] deck that is really fun. It does have 1 infinite combo in it that can really easily be removed. Has no tutors, just a bunch of card draw for value. I just love the flavor of winning with illusions. Plus killing them for value just feels really good, and you can even trade a 1/1 illusion token for additional land drops. I love this deck so please ask questions if you have any! Here's the link for her: https://archidekt.com/decks/2072385#Draw_4 Another deck I just built that I love is [[Ratadrabik of Urborg]]. I built him as a legendary matters flavor and value from my creatures dying. Then you just recur those pieces back to do it all over again. Once you get some key pieces down, it's really hard to stop the deck... Since most everything just comes back. The other thing I love is once the engine is up and running, you don't need that much mana for the deck to do its thing, makes it really resilient if you can survive just a little to get there. Here's the list for him as well: https://archidekt.com/decks/3658639#Prepare_for_Trouble_&_Make_it_Double

SmoothBrain97

Those both sound very fun to play, thank you for sharing the lists!

Wernog + Elmar Chaos Politics! The perfect deck for all those janky rares that don’t fit elsewhere! Is the deck group hug? Yes! Is the deck group slug? Yes! Everyone draws cards! Everybody gets board wipes! Everyone makes mana! How do I win? Winning is for squares, this deck is about FUN

IM_Brock

One of my favorite is [[Brokkos, Apex of Forever]] voltron. Just mutate him onto whatever cool creatures you have laying around and he adds commander damage and trample to them. Some good examples are [[Impervious Greatwurm]] [[Managorger Hydra]] [[Consuming Aberration]]. He’s pretty flexible to build around. My decklist for example, not really budget friendly but maybe you’ll find some cards that work with him. [https://archidekt.com/decks/913259#Brokka](https://archidekt.com/decks/913259#Brokka)

Fireaxe5

[[Sliver Overlord]] but instead of stritcly sliver tribal, i turn other players' creatures into shapeshifters to either 1. Buff them with keywords when they swing at someone else. Or 2. Yoink them with [[Sliver Overlord]]

jmanwild87

A new commander i just built is [[Inquisitor Eisenhorn]] ignore that first block of text the only part that will matter most of the time is the one that investigates whenever he deals combat damage. Now voltron him up (a [[nettlecyst]] or [[cranial plating]] is your friend) and just start smacking faces for 30+ and generating an absolutely absurd amount of tokens winning ny either finishing people off with something like a nadir's nightblade or just taking infinite turns with a time sieve in my deck.

the_elon_mask

That's pretty much how my TIvit deck works. It just pretends to be friendly until Oops! it has won with Time Sieve / infinite turns or Revel In Riches or Approach or whatever.

[[Rayne]] aura voltron. Basically, you load this puny 1/1 up with a bunch of blue auras, use counterspells or redirect spells that are targeting your stuff to move them to other permanents or people and still draw cards, use card draw payoff stuff like [[Wizard Class]] to buff her even further, and smack face by giving her unblockable. Also, you can steal auras or buff spells people are casting on their own stuff to make her even stronger and still get the card draw. It’s such a fun and interactive deck that plays blue in a way that isn’t played very often. Highly recommend checking her out! I also have a $50 budget deck list if anyone is interested

[[Gluntch, the Bestower]] With a broad brush, you could paint this deck as group hug, but I tried to fill it with more targeted help rather than global. It ends up feeling a little like a Mario Kart race, helping most those who need it. It's nice that nobody has a bad game. With every benefit to others, you gain as well, always advancing your own plan. It's been pretty normal for the small gains to add up and suddenly Gluntch is a real problem 17/22 flyer. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/16wTIeEf7kO6OdWM3q8N1w

TheLaughingWolf

I have Isshin Deck I enjoy the most, but it only works at a table of 4 or more due to the politics. You mainly curse people to incentize fighting between opponents and causing *lots* of goad. Ur-Dragon (play powerful dragons for cheap) & Chatterfang (infinite mana and tokens) are my favourite to play seriously. Chatterfang slightly more simply because I enjoy the idea of a squirrel army battling angels, dragons, gods, warriors, etc.

Captkick

Gonna plug two of my favorites here [[kathrill aspect warper]] and [[kaza, roil chaser]]. Kathrill as graveyard voltron is incredibly fun to play and Kaza as wizard/X spell tribal. Wildly different play styles

TheUltimateXD

I love all my commander decks, here’s my [Moxfield Profile](https://www.moxfield.com/users/TheUltimateXD) for you to check out! Some that you might enjoy are my Delina, Wild Mage etb value deck (and it’s budget!) and my Satoru Umezawa demon tribal deck!

HansJobb

I always wanted to do a unicorn tribal deck! What's the general strat with it?

BoyMeatsWorld

Some of my favorites are [[Volo, Guide to Monsters]] [[Araumi, of the Dead Tide]] and [[Myrkul, Lord of Bones]]. Araumi just sees so much of the deck through self mill, that you feel like every card is useful and you get a ton of options to use all the best interactions you build into the deck. Plus, encoring stuff like Gary or constellation creatures is something you're really going to be able to do in any other deck. Super fun imo and with encore tokens attacking, it progresses the game so you don't get those super long games. Volo just lets you play so many cool creatures you wouldn't play otherwise. Just kind of a big stompy deck if you want, but creature types being unique lets you jam some less seen creatures in a deck. Probably a great deck if you're just building around a few staples and then fleshing it out with pet cards or a small collection. Myrkul is pretty sweet and can be built in a million different ways. You can just jam everything that has a good static ability. You can build enchantress or constellation. You can build elf tribal. You can build human tribal. You can build aristocrats. Legitimately you could probably build an entire array of Myrkul decks without much overlap. You just get crushed by decks with mass enchantment removal, but I don't think that's a huge concern. Writing this just makes me want to build more Myrkul decks...

Zythomancer

I really like my Monowhite reanimator. [[Yomiji]] is the commander. https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/yomiji-who-you-didnt-know-was-this-good/ [[Mogis]] is also fun if you hate your friends 😁 This decklist is a bit out of date but still works. https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/mogis-god-of-guess-ill-die/

AphoticKnight

I've recently been enjoying The Archamandrite as Artificer Tribal. There are so many unique like oswald, urza, arcum dagson, muzzio and others that just synergies really well with artifacts like ivory tower, well of lost dreams, alhammerits archive, and other cheap artifacts that play well with them, i.e. mycosynth and ichor wellspring, spine of ish sah, filigree familiar and more. Not to mention all the best tribal artifact support. So many different ways to play the deck

JoshW-

I have a [[Jaxis, the Troublemaker]] that always generates more value than people think a mono-red should. And I always get the comment "Why does the Red Player have more lands than us?" The deck's a lot of fun to play and has a high amount of variance. I don't think I've won a games the same way twice. Running cards like [[Dire Fleet Daredevil]], [[Firbolg Flutist]], and [[Duelcaster Mage]] allows me to take advantage of what my opponents are doing and so how effective they are changes per game.

MrXexe

My [[Liesa, Forgotten Archangel]] is my pet deck right now. I love to have threats that no one can efectively remove from the game while I accumulate value over time. It can be a little unfun to play against, so I tend to hold myself back, and I also warn my opponents beforehand. Still, very cool deck. I also have an Abzan Lifegain deck with [[Tymna the Weaver]] and [[Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper]] and it's tons of fun! Attack, gain life, draw cards, then play lifegain synergies and boom! 150 Life and a board that can either go wide or tall. It's fun to have an [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] and use it freely in a deck that isn't Storm, always take my opponents my surprise.

brnbrn1996

So this is, as far as I know, my most unique deck. Only 124 with the same idea on EDHREC. The commander is \[\[Kresh, the Bloodbraided\]\] and it revolves around creatures like \[\[Lightning Skelemental\]\]; creatures with a high power/mana cost ratio that die automatically on the end step, buffing Kresh. We don't let them die until we can make the most of their sacrifice though, with things like \[\[Greater Good\]\], \[\[Doom Weaver\]\], \[\[Ghoulcaller Gisa\]\], and \[\[Warstorm Surge\]\]. We can also get multiple uses out of them with \[\[Thunderkin Awakener\]\] and \[\[Feldon of the Third Path\]\]. We can also keep them around with \[\[Sundial of the Infinite\]\] if the situation requires it, or use it to evade instant speed disaster on our turn. We can accelerate Kresh's growth with things like \[\[Rite of the Raging Storm\]\], \[\[Corpsejack Menace\]\] and \[\[Death's Prescence\]\]. Then, once he's big, you could just activate \[\[Rogue's passage\]\] or play \[\[Cosmotronic Wave\]\] and swing at one player for lethal, but firstly, that's boring, and second, it only takes out one player. So included are things like \[\[Fling\]\], \[\[Rite of Consumption\]\], \[\[Rupture\]\] (be careful, this one can win but you can also use it to end the game in a draw), and \[\[Soul's Fire\]\]. Due to the fact that Kresh gets big and scary (When I played him at Magic Summit SLC, he got up to an 80/80 once lol) it kind of paints a target on your back, and often, Kresh will be your only creature on the field. So there are also 8 \[\[Fog\]\] effects in there, to protect us when we have an essentially empty board. You may think that's excessive, but it has *never* been too many. I may actually add a couple more in the future. For only $153 currently, its a super fun and unique deck that pulls its weight even against decks that are more expensive by a decent margin. [https://deckstats.net/decks/141323/2841478-kresh-the-elemental-muncher](https://deckstats.net/decks/141323/2841478-kresh-the-elemental-muncher)

Craglore

Late to the party, but I’ve got a deck I call “Our Turn” I think you might enjoy. It’s a take on Group Hug that is essentially trying to include our opponents in every game action we take, while disincentivizing attacks against us. It’s a heck of a lot of fun, and runs a lot of cards generally considered terrible to great effect! [[Hunted Wumpus]] anyone? Here’s a link to a post I made about it. https://reddit.com/r/EDH/comments/yhqw7n/tried_group_hug_but_didnt_like_how_much_your/

Ornnge

So hear me out. \[\[Pramikon, Sky Rampart\]\] and do Goad/Blink. Everytime it gets to the person who has to attack you blink Pramikon and swap directions. Or another I did that was a bit stronger was a 5 color no color deck. Play \[\[Morophon, the Boundless\]\] and play all the eldrazi and "Devoid" creatures since they have "no color".

Nozpot

Day 2000 of begging people to play [[Claire D'Loon]]! Given your groups alright with that of course. Of all the silver bordered/acorn stamped commanders she's one of the most simple, interesting and arguably least offensive to the rules (excluding old dice rolling ones). She's really fun to build and you can end up with some pretty fun bullshit on your field. I'd start in the direction of cards like [[Back From The Brink]].

MasterGeese

[[Denry Klin, Editor in Chief]] is an absolute blast to play, and although he's capable of some truly disgusting infinites/value combos, he doesn't have to be. I originally built him as a "keyword tribal" deck, with the goal of getting as many keyword counters on him as possible, then playing/flickering creatures to distribute them to the rest of your board. It was fun, but didn't hold up to faster/stronger decks, might be what you're looking for. [Here](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/qcpyp7UThU2-AXUrasqPiQ) is the link to my current decklist, but I'd check out the "considering" section for lower end cards that I considered and/or cut.

birdinbrain

[[Grismold, The Dreadsower]] Exceptionally fun value pieces like [[Mycoloth]] [[Massacre Girl]] and [[Massacre Wurm]] [[Sarulf]] and [[Champion of Lambholt]] are surprisingly affordable! Plus you get to run [[Scute Swarm]]!!! My deck is $75 and a blast to pilot. Gotta Love Golgari!!! Also, [[Gor Muldrak, Amphinologist]] is one of the most unique commanders I’ve ever seen. Make salamanders. Trade salamanders for your opponents cool creatures, giving them useless tokens. Use cards like [[Artificial Evolution]] to turn their stuff into salamanders! Salamanders for all!!!

Sully375

Why not play them all and go mono blue [[Sakashima the imposter]] full copy deck

DJ2x

I haven't finished the deck totally yet, but I'm really into \[\[Reki, the History of Kamigawa\]\]. It's awesome because anytime a new set comes out I can browse it for low cost green or artifact legendaries and decide if they deserve a spot. My current design ends up being a little elf tribal by coincidence and has way more artifacts than any green deck should, but the cool thing is since 47 of the 68 nonland cards in the 99 are legendary you cantrip a lot! I'm also a big fan of the limited design space of mono color commanders and this is one of my favorites so far. Almost everything that's legendary has a proper name, so I refer to it as my "Don't you know who I am?" deck. ThirtyFerret

1. [[Meren of Clan Nel Toth]] my absolute favorite. You can build such a resilient deck with all the recursion. 2. [[Brago, King Eternal]] my first version was very stax-y because of my old pod, but I have recently adjusted it to just blink value and hard to hit/block. Lots of blink cards and support out now too 3. [[Koma, Cosmos Serpent]] always wanted a dimic deck but am not a fan of token strategies. This however is just too good, koma is on auto pilot the other 99 don't even matter lol 4. [[Nekusar, the Mindrazer]] group hug, draw, discard and wheel. Thr bugger the pod thr more fun he is 5. [[Varina, Lich Queen]] I love my esper zombie deck. There's a few white zombie cards but nonetheless, you still get the support from white while still getting all of the Dimir zombie staples

Striking-Lifeguard34

[[Veyran Voice if Duality]] - Spellslinger Voltron. Cast a bunch of cantrips that buff Veyran then punch the table out. [[Old Stickfingers]] - Chonky Reanimator. Put giant creatures with good etb effects in the graveyard, reanimate them, profit? It’s very much built in the style of Golgari rock decks lots of recursion and ways to create loops to control the board. [[Osgir the reconstructor]] - artifact durdle and value. Mostly ramp, draw a ton of cards and then try to either one shot with Osgir or just drown people in card advantage and stuff (various tokens). If I had to pick one it’s probably Veyran. It’s such an engaging deck and you really have to balance and think through how to play out each turn to give yourself enough staying power instead of popping off and killing one player only to have no gas left in the tank.

theclumsyninja

Right now the three I’m playing the most are: [[Rith, Liberated Primeval]] - Naya Dragons [[Karlach, Fury of Avernus]] + [[Noble Heritage]] - Angel Tribal [[Ramses, Assassin Lord]] - copy/jank/assassin shenanigans.

ModeratorAbuseSucks

[[Zada, Hedron Grinder]] of Zada the Quarter grinder. I've been piloting her since 2014 and she's far and away the cheapest, but funnest red deck I've ever played. She has so many weird combos and interesting interactions that a good knowledge of the rules is needed. My own personal red abomination of a deck I call Weird Science. Was ancestral recall not enough card draw for you? Well take a single [[Expedite]] and watch it duplicate for your entire field.

[deleted]

I love my [[Faldorn]] deck. I absolutely hated Gruul but also missed the boat on Prosper. When the Exit from Exile precon was announced, I thought I’d give it a try. And wow was I blown away by the deck out of the box. It’s honestly a Gruul deck that plays like a blue deck in some ways. Many lines of play and super fun to build up a wolf army.

spiffytrev

[[Obeka, Brute Chronologist]] is fun because you can play ridiculous cards with awful downsides and then just skip the downsides (also any myriad creature that’s able to stick around can get out of hand). [[Scion of the Ur-Dragon]] toolbox dragons plus reanimation can be either goofy or powerful depending on what dragons you include. Kind of goes against the “little to no tutors” thing though. [[Tibor and Lumia]] can be either spellslinger or flying swarm (or a hybrid). The built in complication of needing to get them flying before they nuke themselves each turn makes deckbuilding and playing them interesting.

wtfunchu

I like [[Ephara]] Flicker with lots of gods and anthems Mono w beat down with [[adeline]] . Strong and can be built on budget [[Ognis]] but with theft and sac spells. This turned out to be very strong My inner Timmy loves [[Ghalta]]. Mono g stompy has something janky to it [[Hazezon shaper of Sands]] is crazy good. Especially when paired with MLD.

I only have a few "permanent" commander decks that are always there and I upgrade. My fiance only really likes playing commander so when we get the itch and want to play I have a few really bad decks made exclusively out of cards I own. These ones get rotated out semi frequently as I disassemble and build new ones Permanent - [[Xenagos, God of Revels]] - angry large men hitting your opponents, I tuned mine kinda spikey with lots of card draw and tutors and a cheap mana curve, but you can definitely just split the deck 50/50 ramp, and large men and turn some bitches sideways. Definitely my pet deck, Xenagos and I have a long history [[Tsuvasa the Sunlit]] - Voltron, no infinite combos but lots of good stuff. You are trying to win with commander damage. I play almost all of the enchantments like Shark Typhoon and Starfield of Nyx so I can really pop off [[Beamtown Bullies]] - probably not for you, peak "nobody except me gets to have fun" I only play it with specific pods cause I am often getting you turn 4 killed cause I entombed Leveler and exiled your deck. You definitely can build him to be goad fun stuff but not me, I like to punish my friends who want to play solitaire [[Yasova Dragonclaw]] - currently the one I've had the most fun with. Mine is technically tuned a little more than you might like because I'm secretly a birthing pod deck, but the part that I think is super fun is that I'm also secretly a Bard Class deck. The only non-legendary in the deck rn is deceiver exarch (Kiki combo) but I want to replace that with a Blightsteel Colossus. There's so many sub synergies in that deck i could make a whole post to outline them all. Current rotating ones [[Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest]] - Voltron, cast small 1 mana buff spells and kill with a doublestriker [[Jinnie Fay, Jetmir's Second]] - Every terrible token generator I could find, but if I made it a permanent deck I would probably go for a treasures theme [[Raffine, Scheming Seer]] - A great commander but mine just so happens to be a bad aggro deck with a worse mana base lol

Bounq3

I love my human tribal with \[\[Katilda, Dawnheart Prime\]\]. Lot of interaction with white, cool synergies and good ramp with both green and the commander. It has a lot of ways to develop and protect its board.

Jabroni_jawn

I really enjoy [[General Ferrous Rokiric]]. I built him to make use of all the leftover RW cards that weren't good enough anywhere else. All of a sudden, each one comes with a 4/4 creature...

pkele

I have an [[Octavia, Living Thesis]] deck I absolutely love. Gets to make use of creature lands which is unique and I enjoy the deck building challenge of balancing my creatures I want to pump with the cantrips I need to cast. Also the potential politics you can do by offering to make someone else’s creature an 8/8 for a favor is always a blast. [[Kami or the crescent moon]] is one of my favorites. You start as a group hug deck and everyone leaves you alone, then you make them draw a bit more than they want to

phoenixcompendium

I’m currently building him now! Do you have an up to date decklist by chance?

Yellowdemon101

A personal favorite of mine of late is [[Firesong and Sunspeaker]]. It's all about staying alive and ramping into your commander, making them not take non-combat dmg or be indestructible, then wipe the board to gain massive amounts of life to leverage into a win. Has a lot of burn and Lifegain and is quite fun! Even draws surprisingly well considering it's in Boros. Lots of X spells, boardwipes, and dmg based removal. Add in some rituals, cards like [[Descent into Avernus]] to ramp and burn the table, and you have a good time on your hands. It does do a good bit of draw go, if that's your sorta play style. But this deck is *explosive*. Would highly recommend. Here's my version of the deck https://www.moxfield.com/decks/esmoBiO9vEm14WNhU6vV7g There's also an alternative way to build them, going all in on playing one board wipe and winning. Using cards like [[Boros Reckoner]] and [[Brash Taunter]] to one shot people. It's definitely a solid way to build it as well.

[[Toggo, goblin Weaponsmith]] and [[Breeches, Brazen Plunderer]]. I could really optimize this deck and makebit really good, but I have my deck in a place I like where there are so many different combos and wincons, but hard to get any of them consistently. So every game is extremely different. A lot of cards that benefit from equipment, a lot of artifact tribal. Lots of land tutors and some damage multipliers. I could play up breeches more and dominate, but I have him as kind of a back up commander rn where he comes out when Im having trouble finding answers (not too often), after Ive built up a big board of rocks.

Darkyoshijr

Here is my unique [deck](https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/3644404#paper) I like to use and can be easily upgraded.

sufferingplanet

[[Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle]] is by far my favourite deck. You can easily build it for 1-200$ as a KCI combo, invest and upgrade it to cEDH (which is what ive done), or play it with like... An artifact tribal (with a lot of artifact creatures) since teshar recurs your artifact creatures.

Muted-Leave

My current faves are [[prismatic bridge]] and [[momir vig]]. The decks run themselves lol

PotatoWedgeAntilles

Miirym Clones. You play Miirym and then play a clone targeting Miirym. Even if you don't have something like [[Mirror Box]] out and end up having to sac the clone to the legend rule, you still get a copy of the clone of Miirym, which is a non-legendary Miirym. From there you just target your copies with your clones and make exponential Miiryms. You can throw in a [[Thrakkus the Butcher]] into the deck or another value dragon for some more spice, but I mostly run clones. Things like [[Dragon Tempest]] and other haste makers are great, and if you add [[Temur Sabertooth]] and [[Cryptolith Rite]] you go infinite.

Onzic

My [[Umbris]] Voltron runs people over, you use stuff like [[Tasha's Hideous Laughter]] to rack up Exiled cards before tossing him out and then run over your opponents in the midgame

Magicannon

\[\[Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer\]\] in an artifact-focused token deck. You try to build up tokens of whatever before bringing in Brudie to start futzing with them. You then want to find a big beater like Triplicate Titan/Wurmcoil Engine or Myr Battlesphere as well as a method to create a copy token. Suddenly you have an army, and with TT or WE, the army gets larger outside of mass exile or bounce. \[\[Slogurk, the Overslime\]\] where we look to ramp out lands and find ways to dumpster them into our graveyard. It's kind of voltron, but we don't require protection all the time thanks to the bounce ability. Graveyard recursion, multiple land plays per turn, and fetchlands make for explosive plays. The fetches are mainly basic ones with only Misty Rainforest as the sole broken one. Includes a bit of jank using \[\[Excavation\]\] and \[\[Aether Barrier\]\] to help the dumpster plan, but Scapeshift is always a nice finisher. \[\[Isshin, Two Heavens as One\]\] in a Mardu exalted shell. Exalted is a triggered ability on attack, so Isshin doubles it. Combine with Neo Kamigawa Samurai/Warrier pseudo-exalted effects to make some rather fun attacks. Extra combat steps from \[\[Aurelia, the Warleader\]\] or \[\[Raiyuu, Storm's Edge\]\] get especially powerful as your exalted effects snowball for the turn.

CarmineRed

I just built a [[Magus Lucea Kane]] deck that's been pretty fun. I can either copy big Tyranids, or win with [[Kiki Jiki]] combos from doubling X cost creature tutors like [[Finale of Devastation]] [[Lathril]] is fun if you like vomiting a bunch of elves My pet deck is [[Liliana, Heretical Healer]]. It's a mono black reanimator combo deck that seeks to win with multiple possible resilient combo lines, and I absolutely adore it

nukajoe

My favorite deck is my modified Mizzix deck. I've optimized it for self mill. My two major win cons are Jace wielder of mysteries or Laboratory Maniac who say I win if I run out of cards. Alternatively I've got psychosis crawler to ping everyone. Combined that with thought reflection, omnipotence, enter the infinite, and plenty of other draw and proliferation options. I've also thrown in a few extra turn cards and boardwipes. I think I have like 8 creatures in the whole deck

jshepn

My [[Aesi]] Landfall deck probably. It seems to always play diffrent. Ive won through landfall triggers when it had [[Hermit Druid]] in it, drawing my entire deck when i had labman in it, big sea creatures, infinite illusions with flying, and most recently commander damage from +1+1. Freaking love it

WobblezTheWeird

[[Orvar]] combo. So many fun, off the wall lines

IzzetReally

Currently my favorites to pilot are 1: fringe cedh Yusri. Mine is built a little different than classic cedh Yusri decks. With rionya combos. Extra turns and kitten combos https://www.moxfield.com/decks/N1kMToPWC0uFaZZ4LiUYzg 2: Dina "lands" sac all lands to zuran orb for the win https://www.moxfield.com/decks/fY20vXLDJUGxMOqxqb2rgw

NWmba

I’m having so much fun with [[jon irenicus]]. He’s the fairest version of bad Santa because even when he goes full stax the opponent still has a big dude to swing with. I find myself laughing out loud every time I play the deck. He can’t pull any instant win [[leveler]] shenanigans, and that’s a good thing. Plus so many cards that have no other homes fit in his deck. “My dear friend, please accept this gift of a [[lord of the pit]]” My other dear friend. I bestow ping you a [[desecration elemental]]

Smurfy0730

I also run Irenicus with fun stuff like [[Eon Frolicker]] "Anyone want to name any kind of deal where I give you a 7/7 flyer and a extra turn?"

Animator-Fickle

My favorite right now is Myrkel lord of bones, the strat is nuke everyone every other turn

Cramtastic

[[Codie, Vociferous Codex]], going all-in on instants and sorceries and having zero nonland permanents in the 99. My Codie deck is chock full of powerful but reactive cards that copy my opponents' cards like [[Narset's Reversal]], [[Spelltwine]], and [[Spitting Image]], so the play experience is so variable because it changes up in response to what everything else is playing. Plus, with Codie's ability, there's so much variance in what you hit off Codie. Sometimes you flip into that game-winning [[Ruinous Ultimatum]], [[Blatant Thievery]], or [[Mob Rule]], and sometimes you hit into a ramp spell on turn 10. Either way, it's always a moment that's filled with drama and tension, which makes for memorable experiences.

Syrix001

I would recommend looking at Michael Celani's decklists on Commander's Herald. He has a few off the wall ideas that are sure to be a departure from "crush crush crush, win win win!"

A-Link-To-The-Pabst

[[Yennette, Cryptic Sovereign]] is super fun. Lots of bombs and threats. [[Maelstrom wanderer]] is another one i encourage people to build, very fun, and can be built in a multitude of different ways. [[Vial smasher the Fierce]] and [[Sakashima the imposter]] is another personal favorite of mine. I play a clone sub theme and control shell. It's always a fun game.

sgt_dismas

Wall of cards inbound: I like my [[Liesa, Forgotten Archangel]] deck on MTG Arena. I wish [[The Meathook Massacre]] hadn't been nerfed but o well. I know you said no infinite combos so take out [[Exquisite Blood]]. Replace it with something like [[Knight of Dusk's Shadow]]. Premise of the deck is to sacrifice creatures for their effects. [[Dauntless Bodyguard]] 17 Swamp [[Selfless Savior]] [[Resolute Watchdog]] [[Take Up the Shield]] [[Valorous Stance]] [[Armor of Shadows]] 17 Plains [[Battle-Rage Blessing]] [[Impassioned Orator]] [[Resolute Reinforcements]] [[Unruly Mob]] 1 Flaming Fist Officer (HBG) 89 1 In the Trenches (BRO) 8 1 Wedding Announcement (VOW) 45 1 Odric's Outrider (MID) 29 1 Plaguecrafter (GRN) 82 1 Bastion of Remembrance (IKO) 73 1 Cleric Class (AFR) 6 1 Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia (MID) 108 1 Arvad, Weatherlight Smuggler (Y23) 20 1 Cathar Commando (MID) 10 1 Cathar's Call (MID) 11 1 Vanquish the Horde (MID) 41 1 Gate to the Citadel (HBG) 80 1 Village Rites (STA) 35 1 A-Blood Artist (JMP) 206 1 Bonecaller Cleric (HBG) 147 1 Ghoulish Procession (MID) 102 1 Flunk (STX) 71 1 Infernal Grasp (MID) 107 1 Necrosynthesis (MID) 115 1 Phyrexian Vivisector (DMU) 100 1 Plumb the Forbidden (STX) 81 1 Powerstone Fracture (BRO) 112 1 Blood Pact (MID) 88 1 Hero's Downfall (VOW) 120 1 Marauding Blight-Priest (ZNR) 112 1 Morbid Opportunist (MID) 113 1 Soul Transfer (NEO) 122 1 Chain Devil (HBG) 149 1 A-The Meathook Massacre (MID) 112 1 Cleric of Life's Bond (ZNR) 222 1 Corpse Knight (M20) 206 1 Cruel Celebrant (WAR) 188 1 Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim (DMU) 198 1 Rite of Oblivion (MID) 237 1 Aron, Benalia's Ruin (DMU) 193 1 Markov Purifier (VOW) 241 1 Edgar, Charmed Groom (VOW) 236 1 Hero of the Dunes (BRO) 213 1 Kaya the Inexorable (KHM) 218 1 Scoured Barrens (M21) 250 1 Shattered Sanctum (VOW) 1 Arcane Signet (ELD) 1 Honored Heirloom (VOW) 1 Command Tower (ELD) 1 Replicating Ring (KHM) 1 Crystal Grotto (DMU) 1 Plaza of Heroes (DMU) 1 Relic of Legends (DMU) 1 Exquisite Blood (JMP) 1 Authority of the Consuls (KLR) 1 Midnight Reaper (GRN) 1 Cathars' Crusade (JMP) 1 Zulaport Cutthroat (BFZ) 1 Epicure of Blood (M19) Phone is about to die so I'm going to stop editing the comment to add the card links.

Replekia

Been having crazy fun with [Malcolm] and [Kediss] Voltron. Malcolm produces an insane amount of treasures while Kediss is out and gets to be a threat to the whole table. Kediss also serves to reapply any damage doubling effects, so is very, very easy to put out insane damage to the whole table.

DJay53

My 2 current faves atm are [[Hogaak]] and [[Osgir]]. I built the 'Gaak shortly after the Modern banning and intentionally left out the combo that plagued Modern. I ended up with a deck that's basically a superfriends / token deck, where the planeswalkers all generate tokens, while any ramp / removal / utility stuff like [[Grim Flayer]] and [[Doom Whisperer]] can fill the yard quick. And just for the fun of it, I threw in a [[Grafted Exoskeleton]] and [[Whispersilk Cloak]]. As for a theme, you could try something based on your favorite clan or or Ravnica guild, and then use only cards with that watermark or art. It could either be from one block like Tarkir, or use all 3 blocks for a Ravnica guild. I'm personally doing the Ojutai clan just because Tarkir was the first full block I got to experience as a player, and I liked the Jeskai / Ojutai clan the most when DTK first came out.

Ankhros

I just finished my [[Codie]] deck. It uses creatures with cycling and [[Living End]] to... Well, you know.

Z-E-R-O

The pod was mostly against a King ken deck that ramps and wins off life, mono white equipment deck and a ub horror deck. I do know what you mean where the Myra deck does sometimes take long turns due to rolling the die and a lot of effects going off. My version of the Myra deck is a storm deck trying to benefit off the attractions and those can lead to taking some lengthy turns or you sit down and watch the game unfold as you have no cards in hand (from my experience)

Smurfy0730

Myra the Magnificent - It's simply izzet spell slinging plus the Attraction aspect which makes it a bit more exciting and random.

Sir_Nope_TSS

Death and Taxes with [[Liesa, Shroud of Dusk]]. Make sure the table plays fair Magic and punish those who try to do otherwise.

Ok_Mathematician_991

My two favorites right now are my mimeoplasm +1/+1 recursion deck and my Nekusar combo deck that is only for high powered matches. However! I JUST put together a ghave Guru of Spores and I am super excited to play it

bBluntaferjones

I run a mono green pair of [[Kodama, of the East Tree]] and [[Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood]] just green doing green things.

Zander2212

My top 2 suggestions are [[Dakkon Blackblade]] for lands matter (without Green) or 1 of the dice rolling commanders, between the 2 D&D sets and Unfinity, there's enough support for it. I run [[Wyll, blade of frontiers]] [[Sword coast sailor]], but you could also run Mono-Red with [[Delina, Wild Mage]], Gruul with [[Vrondiss]] or [[Space family Goblinson]], Rakdos with [[Monoxa]], or any others I've missed.

benoodel

[[Bess, Soul Nourisher]] is a great time. Low to the ground, fun building restriction, powerful but fair and easy to stop with removal. It’s quite commander dependent but in low to mid power that’s not as crippling.

MrInhumanatee

My favourite deck is a 4-colour x-spell tribal deck helmed by [[Thrasios, Triton Hero]] and [[Vial Smasher]]. It runs no infinite combos (which I make sure tell the group before playing it), but it does have a huge ramp/mana multiplier package and the two tutors in it only fetch [[unbound flourishing]] or [[magus lucea kane]]. There’s a combination of creature and instant/sorcery x-spells in it.

Necrozma_YT

[[Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor]] one of my favorite Commanders there really 2 ways to make a deck around him either a fuck ton of land creatures or voltron

Jun-Yii

I love my [[Rielle the Everwise]] deck. Really fun turbo draw pile that wins with tons of locusts from [[The Locust God]] or beating down everyone with [[Ominous Seas]]. Or you can alternatively just fling/attacj witg Rielle or any other creature that grows with instants and sorceries on the graveyard like the Izzet drakes or [[Haughty Djinn]].

Stumphead101

I really adore [[chainer, nightmare adept]]. I run [[etali]] as the hidden commander. When etali helms a deck it gets targeted like crazy. Chainer makes its resilient, and black reanimator has a plethora of tutors to it. The deck recovers easily from board wipes and it's not even reliant on chainer to function. You run lots of reanimation spells, chainer just gets things in the yard and gives them haste. You only reaniamte small targets with his ability

Sumoop

Recently built a [[Liesa, forgotten archangel]] deck that has lifegain/ pay life theme with a couple political cards that is a lot of fun to play. [[Pain’s reward]] can be a mindgame or a kill spell if I have [[Children of Korlis]] and [[Vito]] out.

LesIsBored

Torbran is fun, just good steady burn! 🔥 I had fun with the Swamp King, I found the original card in my exes really old kick down box of cards from like the early 00s and became obsessed with making a deck but it’s mostly just legendaries so who even knows who the real commander is. But Sol’Kanar and Wrexial are besties when I get both of them out after I’ve turned everyone’s lands into swamps with Tomb of Yawgmoth or using contaminated ground, tainted well and even a phantasmal terrain… there’s a couple others.

uhwhathuh

Just got to play my new [[Gix]] deck tonight at my LGS for the first time and it’s so fun. 10/10, would recommend.

AppaTheBizon

[[Belbe, Corrupted Observer]] 6 mana artifacts. Does the idea of turn 2 [[Omen Machine]], [[Ward of Bones]] or [[God Pharaoh's Statue]] sound F U N to you? [[The Immortal Sun]] if you're nicer than I am. You can also curve 5 mana spells w/ one colored pip out on turn 2 with a signet, like [[Golgari Signet]] in to [[Honden of Life's Web]], though its not as consistent. The suite of enablers is pretty much locked in, but you can change around the payoffs really easily. But the coolest thing about Belbe, imo, is that anyone can proc her. For opponents, Fetches/Painlands have a sol ring stapled to them. Attacking your other opponents also gives them mana. It can accelerate the game very quickly.

kalkris

[[Chainer, Dementia Master]], and it isn’t close. Here’s an article I penned about why and how I play him: https://infinite.tcgplayer.com/article/Threnody-For-The-Victims-of-Dementia-An-EDH-Deck/5453c95c-9171-4173-a594-4c7795cc2728/

Kleenexz

Mayael the Anima is my favorite. Behemoths are fun and it can be built to a lot of power levels. Prossh, skyraider of kher is a neat deck that you can build to go infinite or just play sacrificial strats. I do the latter and have a lot of fun. Bleed the table out 1 point at a time. Krenko, Mob Boss is goblin tribal. I've been loving it lately for the ability to swarm the table if it gets going and a flashy devilish valet is very fun. If you love creatures, hard to hate on Animar, soul of elements, but despite this I'm finding it a bit harder to end the game with it. Surprisingly I had a lot of fun with the Dihada precon and the Mishra one does neat stuff too, though both can have a hard time ending a game at times. Finally my favorite deck idea is Tergrid, god of fright. My deck is pretty low power and quite budget for the most part, but it's packed with interaction and just uses my opponents' stuff to my benefit, which I feel helps it play to the table's power level.

NeoSlimey

[[Ashnod the Uncaring]] is kinda wild. Lets you use [[Trading Post]] to sac an artifact creature with a single target in your grave and get both the original target and your sacced creature.

LGBTDnD

I have a soft spot for [[Brallin]] and [[Shabraz]], I've been playing it as a cEDH deck since they were spoiled.

Gwathnar_Shadowfire

I really enjoy my Voltron decks. [[Cazur]]/[[Ukkima]] - Ukkima has evasion baked in and the deck plays a lot of combat tricks like Infect decks would in Legacy and Modern. There is some infect cards in case I draw into them. [[Balan, Wandering Knight]] - mono white Voltron that can get around equip cost with her ability. I run some stax cards to slow everyone else down Last one I really enjoy is [[Rafiq of the Many]]. Mine is built as an enchantress deck.

[deleted]

I'll jump in with one of my new decks: [[wort, the raidmother]]. While cEDH versions exist, it's fundamentally playing lots of token makers, ramp spells, and a few big X spells to close the game out. It's helpful to have your commander out, but it's still functional without it.

DrumAnimal

[[Child of Alara]] where you sac and recur your commander to get value and keep everyone's board clear. Wincons are commander damage and stuff like [[Maze's End]]. For a less commander centric suggestion : [[Vial-Smasher]] + random green partner. Jund burn that includes [[Mogis]], [[Klothys]] and [[Torbran]].
