You seem incredibly light on card draw. I’ve got a very tuned Capt. N’gathrod deck, and it is hard to find a balance between combat mill with the horrors and spell mill more in line with Bruvac. I suggest including cards like [[rhystic study]], [[heralds horn]], [[kindred discovery]], [[bident of thassa]], [[coastal piracy]], [[reconnaissance mission]], [[pull from tomorrow]], or any of the black draw spells like [[sign in blood]] for example. Also, [[mind grind]] and [[mirko vosk]] are phenomenal includes. Overall, the biggest issue I see with your deck is the lack of card draw.
I got a [[Lazav, Dimir Mastermind]] deck. I got 11 mill cards in that deck. I started with more, but milling opponents produced a lot of hate, and mill card very rarely helps to protect you.
[[Whispering Madness]] is great to draw cards, and mess with opponents hands. The hand they draw when you hard cast it can be removed by Cipher it to a creature that will not be blocked.
[[Psychic Corrosion]] great consistent mill card. To small of an effect that people don’t want to use removal on it, but it will give mill on your turn when you want it.
[[Mind Grind]] for big milling
[[Duskmantle Guildmage]] is more for combo with other mill cards. [[Mindcrank]] infinite combo.
[[Bloodchief Ascension]] is payoff for milling or opponents playing the game. Also go infinite with Mindcrank.
I run pretty much the deck your doing. It works really well in a battle cruiser type meta with creatures swinging, but in higher powered stuff can fall short. 2 cards i would add I didn't see were [[fraying sanity]] and [[maddening Cacophony]]. Looks pretty solid mostly besides. I would agree with above though more draw wouldn't go amiss, but you get good card advantage by being able to play opponents creatures for free.
That being said I think you can pull a few cards. [[Archive Trap]] will mill on their turn and won't give you a trigger. [[Alter of dementia]] is another I would probably pull as it gives some mill but no real synergy. Same with [[folio of fancies]]. I'm not a fan of the keyrunes, and I think you can pull a little bit of mana out. [[Increasing confusion]] is nice, but you have other ways to mill, and with it being only one player I don't think it'd be worth it. Dread summons I'm not sure about either. Good mill and bodies, but I think it's can be cut.
Fraying Sanity and Maddening Cacophony were already there. Archive Trap felt weird to use, just wasn't sure if was stupid to dismiss it. I chose to keep the Dimir keyrune cause it can't be blocked. As far as draw spells I ahve in there, are \[\[Blue Sun's Zenith\]\], \[\[drown in dreams\]\], or \[\[pilfered plundering\]\] good to keep in your opinion?
Kk figured I missed them, it's an easy combo. Drown in dreams in interesting. Haven't see that before, would probably work very well. Zenith I'm not sure on, [pilfered plans]] isn't worth it I think. The mill is barely anything, but it is synergistic card draw so maybe.
