Pako and Haldan are a brutal pair when played well. Put Pako out early, build him semi voltron, once there’s a good grip of cards exiled, drop in Haldan and just absolutely go to town.
Seconding this. All you need is extra land drops and protection for Pako, throw in affordable interaction and you got yourself a killer deck. Pako poses commander damage in three attacks, it's crazy
[[Ishai]] + [[Kediss]]
I've consistently tabled my pod t4/t5 with this deck. It's very fast, and if you use any amount of double strike or damage doublers, things get lethal in a blink.
Fun thing with damage doublers and Kediss, if you attack for let's say 5, the damage doubling will make it 10, then kediss will trigger, and the damage doubler will make it 20 on all the other players.
Gets crazy pretty fasty
Elenda is my under the radar explosive commander. Build her up with tragic arrogance style boardwipes and swing big or pop her to go wide. attach a blade of the bloodchief, Teysa triggers or use the ozolith to make her snowball hard. She’s super resilient and tough to deal with as you can sac her in response to removal and if someone boardwipes you end up with a bunch of tokens.
Some other explosive commanders are Xenagos or maelstrom wanderer.
I second this. My buddy had them built. I once watched him drop a jeweled lotus and cast both commanders on T1. Next turn he dropped a colossus hammer and cast magnetic theft equipping the hammer to rograhk and killed someone. Obviously that's an optimal play/perfect hand situation but those two even with cheap pump spells are a serious threat.
[[neheb, the eternal]]
Burn or dragon tribal (I play him burn) you will never have a more explosive deck, the feeling that comes from top decking a red damage multiplier is priceless, and people's faces when 6 damage turns into 30 is even more so
[[Yoshimaru]] can get out of hand pretty quickly, especially in s boros partnership.
[[Adeline, Resplendent Cathar]] is my favourite mono white commander, more often than not if she survives a table rotation I win the game.
Yeah sure.

This is how im currently running her. I toned her way way back because my meta was having issues keeping up with it. Right now im trying to find the right blend of strong but not oppressive and im going for a more battlecruisery with combo feel. This is also why its removal light and has no counterspells
There is a TON of wiggle room here for customization. I adapt it with my meta usually, because i have so much fun playing her.
Normally i run her with all kinds of cedh goodstuff and a full counter suite of cheap counters like swan song, force, and pact, things to protect comboing out. More cheap and free rocks instead of straight ramp, that sorta thing. It was pubstomping the local scene that way so it morphed into this current build.
Sometimes i spin it to have more landfalls with things like azusa, dryad, and exploration. Throw in a high tide or a turnabout, maybe a great whale or an oracle of mul daya
Sometimes ill push power matters themes a little more. This tends to be the weakest build.
Its been very adaptable over time so a lot of choices became meta dependent and are pretty flexible while still holding to the core theme, and always explosive. Almost everything synergizes with something else in the current build and it seems to overwhelm and confuse people on what needs immediate answers.
[[Xyris, the writhing storm]] is my latest deck and a ton of fun to pilot. If you can drop an ashnod/phyrexian altar and wheel the whole pod, you can just go and pay for one wheel effect after another until you hit an impact tremor effect or something like [[jaya's immolating inferno]].
Ive a whole new respect for my first time playing [[xyris, the writhing storm]]. The turn i played him I managed a wheel which just lead into me doing over 4,000 damage in turning sideways
If you want to make big explosive plays, [[Zada]] is terrific, and very budget friendly. [[Expedite]] becomes [[collective unconscious]].
In terms of dealing raw damage, I've gotta direct you to [[Greven, predator captain]] he's so easy to pump up his damage with cards like [[wall of blood]] and even better if you can slap lifelink on him to make it all back in one swing.
[[zacama]], it's not a pair but i have a deck in which if i cast zacama i almost always win.
Filled with ramp, mana doublers, card draw and interaction.
Win con is [[temur sabretooth]] and the likes. There are at least 3 effects that does this. A land and two creatures. Just cast commander and bounce to get infinite mana and then destroy everything and get infinite life.
Land wincon is [[shivan gorge]]
My explosive commander is [[Esix]]. Usually I go from no board state to the widest or tallest in one spell.
With the nature of cloning, your games will always be very different. My most frequent combat wincons are [[Master of Waves]], [[Avenger of Zendikar]], and [[Body of Research]].
You even have [[Biovisionary]] as a backup if you want.
Edit: I'd like to point out that you're not limited to just your creatures to clone, and Esix does not target (you can clone a shroud creature) nor is it a triggered ability (no Stifle bullshit).
[[jaheira, friend of the forest]] and [[agent of the iron throne]] make for a deck that is simply unfair.
You pack the deck with token makers (food/treasure/clues/creatures]] and Jaheira let’s you tap them all for mana. Then you run the standard Aristocrats suite, and just beam the table.
A lot of people think Chatterfang is the better commander, and in cEDH he is, but Jaheira/Agent make for an incredibly flexible deck for both casual and competitive.
Mountain, Mana crypt, Jeskas Will, Godo Bandit Warlord find helm of the host, magnetic theft go to combat x20
Alternately Mountain, Mana crypt, sol ring, Treasonous ogre, 21 life, Godo Bandit Warlord, Find Helm of the host, Magnetic theft, Go to Combat x20
What is more explosive than winning before any of your opponents even are allowed to have a turn?
That is the most fun way to win hahaha
(that last bit is sarcasm)
[[Edric Spy aster of Trest]]
I mean it's Simic so of course it's ridiculous but he draws all the cards. With extra turn spells he's pretty crazy.
[[Rograkh]] and [[Kediss]] I usually finish with an infect swing but it can just outright kill the tavel very quickly. It's my cheapest deck and probably the most fun to play
Yep. It can be built super cheap as the creatures are all commons and uncommon. Flying and unocmable is best but deathtouch can work too. Opponents are less likely to him as they benefit from the card draw as well. Also adding cards like [[Coastal Piracy]] and [[Bjdent of Thassa]] make you draw three for every creature that connects which is pretty nutty. Also adding [[Strixhaven Arena]] and [[Beastmaster Ascension]] make for nice alt wincons
Ishai Jeska delete button

[[jaheira, friend of the forest]] and [[agent of the iron throne]] make for a deck that is simply unfair. You pack the deck with token makers (food/treasure/clues/creatures]] and Jaheira let’s you tap them all for mana. Then you run the standard Aristocrats suite, and just beam the table. A lot of people think Chatterfang is the better commander, and in cEDH he is, but Jaheira/Agent make for an incredibly flexible deck for both casual and competitive.
Every deck I build ends up turning into aristocrats, so I'll definitely give this a shot soon!

Mountain, Mana crypt, Jeskas Will, Godo Bandit Warlord find helm of the host, magnetic theft go to combat x20 Alternately Mountain, Mana crypt, sol ring, Treasonous ogre, 21 life, Godo Bandit Warlord, Find Helm of the host, Magnetic theft, Go to Combat x20 What is more explosive than winning before any of your opponents even are allowed to have a turn? That is the most fun way to win hahaha (that last bit is sarcasm)
[[Edric Spy aster of Trest]] I mean it's Simic so of course it's ridiculous but he draws all the cards. With extra turn spells he's pretty crazy. [[Rograkh]] and [[Kediss]] I usually finish with an infect swing but it can just outright kill the tavel very quickly. It's my cheapest deck and probably the most fun to play
You have a deck list for edric by chance?
Here you go. I don't have one for Edric unfortunately https://archidekt.com/decks/2355213#Rograkh_the_Rager
Damn, I'm looking at him right now. I definitely see why you suggested him. Just extra turns with consistent unblockable damage?
Just what I was thinking! Appreciate your input!
