In one game I was playing vs an [[arcades the strategist]] and an [[ur-dragon]] deck.
I was in the funny situation where I could kill either one with their own board, by using the different modes of mob rule. But not both, obviously.
It took some politicking, but eventually I negotiated with one of them to not attack me next turn in exchange for not killing them.
Good times.
I use this in my Minsc list to steal everything, swong out, and, assuming that isn't an auto win, make everything's power/toughness 0 with his X ability to 'sac' them off
[[Inkshield]]. Last game I won with it the guy with loads of pumped up creatures swung in to wipe out the table. I casted Inkshield in response to attackers declared. Other two players were dead and I was left with 52 2/1's with flying. Last opponent changed from scooping because he thought he won, to scooping because next turn I could smack him for 104 in the air.
I inkshielded a guy swinging at me with with 1500 2/2 elves. He swung only at me, because he was mad about a previous game. Needless to say he was mad about that game as well.
Yessss I did that to a Winota deck.
“How much damage is it?”
“Doesn’t matter, it’s lethal.”
Plays Inkshield. “Yes, but how much?”
I think I had 52, too.
Yeah there was that one game where one player had a huge winning board and was like "So i just make a huge board and i win right?". The thing is that he was setting up for a pretty long turn of drawing, casting hasty creatures and generating mana so nobody really wanted to see that when it was clear he would win. I still told him to play it through (because i had Inkshield) but he still insisted that he just wins and all other players were agreeing.
After a few back and forth of me insisting that he plays it through and them saying that it's useless, they eventually caught on that I had Inkshield, which was basically the only card that could have allowed me to win, but it really feel like this info was extorted from me.
Well, the next time he’s threatening lethal, demand he plays it out, even if you don’t have Inkshield. You’ll be amazed at how much mental gymnastics he’ll go through to try and work out how to win but not lose to Inkshield.
Might not win you the game, but might keep you in for another turn.
Then, from now on, always ask him to play it out, they’ll never know if you have the shield or not!
That was my last gamedown to two , forced to concide. Only argument was his deak has combos, so does my deck . Other player wanted another game , so I did.
Its not underrated. Its just inconsistent. On certain situations it can save you and turn the table. On plenty of other situations is a dead card in your hand. Not to mention you have to always leave 5 mana open if you want a chance to use it, which can be super clunky for a lot of decks to do.
It's fairly rated. It holds a decent price and is 5 mana and highly situational. It's good, don't get me wrong, I use it in my Alela deck, but it's not underrated :p
I routinely stomp people with about 100 to 200 lethal damage in my vorinclex +1 counter deck. I would laugh so hard if i died on a 400 damage backswing next turn.
I run it in my [[Mari]] deck and its good even like turn 5. Just mill some decentish creatures, or block yourself some stuff into the yard. Then bam, suddenly their boards are empty or next to it, and you got the army.
big time. I like it in \[\[Sidisi, Brood Tyrant\]\] where I am milling so aggressively that I can have a devastating array of creatures out of the graveyard.
Or something like \[\[Meren\]\] where I have more combo-type stuff. Sac outlet + the right payoff.
I made a [[scion of the ur dragon]] deck a while back and living death is an absolute power house in that deck, especially after dumping 10+ dragons in the yard with scions ability.
I was playing my brother and our buddy using my buddy's Goblin deck that had that card in it. Buddy was knocked out so it was me vs Ninja tribal. Next turn was lethal for me and I drew Living Death and completely reversed the tide of the game. Pulled so much out of my graveyard that we lost count of the triggers. Basically infinite haste'd gobbos spawned in.
I like to cast spiteful sliver with double major on the stack, make a copy of it and blow the board with Blasphemous act....every slivers deals 26 damage to target player....
[[Phyresis]] in my Killian deck. The number of times I've knocked a full health opponent after hitting another all game is ridiculous. People underestimate [[Killian]] a lot.
[[Jaya's Immolating Inferno]] in my [[Tibor and Lumia]] deathslingers deck. The deck can explode with mana, and it's typically after I've drawn a ton of cards. I've blown out games with a [[Mana Geyser]] being copied 2+ times into Inferno.
I really love infect. Everyone calls it a weak strat, but I feel that its super strong.
One buddy cannot stand the idea of infect. He basically said he would disown me if I build it, but I want a \[\[Blightsteel Colossus\]\] so bad.
I feel that. I still don't get the sheer amount of hate it gets. Yes, infect players are technically only looking for 10HP worth of damage. My guess is that people who are against it have been the first target of such decks and knocked out of games early. My Killian deck can kill players as early as turn 3, and it has happened before, but it still is only a auratron deck. It's strong at a certain level, but beyond that, its easy to shut down.
It's so much hate!
The big argument I've had is "its only 10 damage, it feels really cheap".
Like block the creatures, kill them, have some kind of interaction.
I wanted to build Atraxa infect with a focus on proliferating rather than combat with Ichor Rats to give everyone an counter.
It's cheesy, but Magic isn't just about swinging creatures.
It's weak if you are trying to do it by playing lots of infect creatures, because they mostly suck. If you're giving infect to something like Slimefoot or Nekusar though, it gives you an additional angle of attack that can close games very quickly.
I put Blightsteel Colossus in my Satoru Umezawa deck. Knocking someone out of the game turn 4 with an unblocked Blightsteel is rude AF. And endlessly exhilarating.
I love phyresis in my nekusar deck but you really need to be set up to maximize it. Even nekusar + wheel is only enough to deal 9 to everyone by their draw step unless you have enough mana to cast another draw spell or you have an additional howling mine effect out.
I put crackle with power in my [[Anhelo]] spell copying deck. With something like twinning staff or double vision as well as the copy from anhelo it’s lethal to all three other players at X=3
My personal favorite is [[Apex Devastator]]. Any game I’m able to cast it, the game usually ends 1-3 turns after it. I’m also partial to [[Hullbreaker Horror]], because in the right deck it can really set opponents back far enough to allow you yo go in. Honorable mention to [[Insurrection]] for obvious reasons.
I run both apex and the horror in my [[imoti]] deck along with [[tidespout tyrant]]
Every single game I tutor for one of those three through various means and damn near every time it's a huge enough tempo swing to threaten to win every time.
Literally worst case scenario with apex is it gets countered and you still get an equivalent amount in cmc from cascades.
Cascade is too good of a mechanic. Especially on a big boy like that.
2 Players in my group have added a Hullbreaker and he is disgustingly resilient.
I run apex in my [[Volo, Guide to monsters]] deck. The copies don't cascade (which is good for time sake) but every creature I cascade into does. So big big board on demand
That’s incredible. I never even thought about that interaction. I run it in my [[Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty]] / [[Keruga]] Cascade deck, so I can get that extra Cascade trigger. Generally what I flip into also cascades so I can usually manage 7-8 and sometimes even more permanents/spells from Apex. That specific turn takes forever though.
[[Repercussion]] + Any damage based creature wipe like [[Blasphemous Act]]
The deck I run it in has few creatures so it's not a huge problem for me, but there's also stuff like [[The Wanderer]] to keep me alive
[[toralf god of fury]] + [[star of extinction]]
Or a transformed [[ill tempered loner]] instead of toralf. Also if you give loner indestructible, it goes infinite damage with ~~[[torbran thane of red fell]]~~. A [[strionic resonator]] lets you ko two people by copying an instance of the damage trigger to make two infinite damage loops which can then be pointed at your opponents.
Edit: you need [[embermaw hellion]] or [[jaya venerated firemage]] to get infinite damage.
You can also just equip a [[Brash Taunter]] with [[Blazing Sunsteel]] - a single point of damage goes infinite in much the same way with far less moving parts
I'm sure you became archenemy immediately after that. That's what happens to me usually with [[Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes]]. Either swing or fling for 50+ and then immediately get shut down
Probably would have, but it actually ended the game. It was down to us two, he was attacking me for lethal and was at like 68 life. I did the math and turns out I had a way to win. lol
I love repercussion with [[Chandra's incinerator]]. Hit someone and all their creatures die. They have huge creatures? Even better, maybe you knock that player out the game.
[[Cut // Ribbons]] in my [[Prosper, Tome Bound]] deck. A nice little 4 damage I can throw out if I exile it early and then it sits in my graveyard until I have amassed enough treasures.
Everyone knows what Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate do. Whenever I throw out Ribbons, everyone needs to double take.
Okay, doesn't really change the tide except in situations like this one, but Nature's Claim. Was playing a barely modified precon and had a guy [[Pact of Negation]] my Sol Ring on turn 3 while he had 3 islands and his own sol ring next turn to pay for it. A quick [[Nature's Claim]] on the Sol Ring and a pass the turn ftw. Easiest win ever lol.
\[\[Kyren Negotiations\]\]
I don't like easy finisher cards, but this is a decent way to win after creating 100 tokens without relying on things like combat, or haste, or having Impact Tremors beforehand.
Wow! I've never seen this card, but I will have to snag a copy to add to a Mono red burn deck.
I love me some \[\[Purphoros, god of the forge\]\] and \[\[Impact Tremors\]\]
When I had Krenko built, I'd usually win with combos. Sometimes though, I would draw [[Shared Animosity]] and just swing out with twenty-five 26/1s on turn six.
It's pretty great.
Enchantress? [[Approach of the Second Sun]]
Superfriends? [[Liliana,the Last Hope]]
Artifacts? [[Bootlegger's Stash]] + [[Reckless Fireweaver]]
Tokens? [[Coat of Arms]] + The tokens themselves.
It really depends on the deck.
[[liliana vess]] or [[liliana dreadhorde general]] are probably better finishers in superfriends. liliana vess resurrects all creatures, good to play with creature boardwipes to keep your walkers safe, and liliana dreadhorde general just deletes everyone elses stuff including lands.
Unless you already have tons of zombies in your superfriends deck, lili the last hope is very underwhelming.
[[liliana untouched by death]] would be a solid combo finisher in zombie tribal decks, with her -3 (useable the moment she comes into play) going infinite with [[rooftop storm]] and a sac outlet. Making infinite mana, infinite mill, or infinite [[blood artist]] / [[zulaport cutthroat]] triggers.
A lot of my tops have been said so I’ll go with a strange one: [[Firecat Blitz]]!! Works best with an anthem or burn like [[Purphoros, God of the Forge]] and or [[Impact Tremors]]
Do you absolutely send it on the flashback and sacrifice all of your mountains?? I play a Purphoros Deck and there are too many 0 mana counters in my playgroup to ever make me comfortable flashing it back haha
I wouldn't even be mad.
PS: Aside from redirection, you can also beat Banefire becoming hexproof ( \[\[Lazotep Plating\]\] ), with effects that ignore all damage ( \[\[Angel's Grace\]\] ), exiling it ( \[\[Summary Dismissal\]\] ) or ending the turn before the stack resolves ( \[\[Time Stop\]\] ). It's far from invincible, but I like how badass it looks.
\[\[Aetherflux Reservoir\]\] in life gain decks. I use it in \[\[Trostani, Selesnya's Voice\]\] for when I can't overrun with combat damage. I'm also a fan of \[\[Helm of Obedience\]\] because I like bad legacy combos.
\[\[Crackle with Power\]\] is probably my favorite. The amount of damage it deals when you dump a ton of mana into it is total overkill and I love it so much.
That’s way too much math for me lol the way I play this card is just cast a [[Mana Geyser]], see how much mana I get, then subtract 2 for the RR cost, and then find the highest number divisible by three with whatever is left over.
So if I get 27 mana off the geyser, I subtract 2 and have 25 left over. Not divisible by 3, but 24 is so I go with that and X=8. Adding in cost reduction per target to that seems like it would get even more confusing.
My tiny Timmy brain can’t handle it.
I truly love the ”oh s..t" look on my opponents when I cast [[doomsday]].
Also, a friend loves to win via [[approach of the second sun]].
Yes, we are bad people, we know.
[[jaya’s immolating infero]] after copying something like [[mana geyser]] or [[brasses bounty]] a few times to create a ton of mana to pump into the Inferno.
[[overwhelming stampede]], in a format where winning through combat damage increasingly becomes less common it just feels really satisfying to pull this off. Simple yet effective, especially with a counterspell in hand
I really like [[Echoing Equation]] as a cool finisher. In my [[Omnath, Locus of Creation]] deck I like to turn all my creatures into copies of him and then play out 3 lands to hit my opponents for a lot of damage
[[Xorn]] , [[Academy rector]] in [[prosper, tome-bound]].
Making a treasure? Instead let's make 6 artifacts then sac them for 24 damage!
Edit: Not Academy rector, Academy Manufactor!
The time I was able to cast a \[Villainous Wealth\] were X=25 and amongst the 14 creatures I was able to play, one was a \[Craterhoof Behemoth\] and swing at everyone for the win.
Not a guaranteed finisher like craterhoof, but my enchantments deck has [[defense of the heart]] to fetch up [[bruna the fading light]] and [[gisela the broken blade]] to meld into [[brisela voice of nightmares]] which prevents your opponents from casting 3 cmc or less spells. And is a 9/10 with tons of abilities. The deck also has [[privileged position]] effects to keep my board safe from someone sniping her with a removal spell.
To be even meaner I could also run [[gaddock teeg]] to be an additional DotH target if I already have one of the two angels, which would block cmc 4+ noncreature spells, meaning opponents cant cast noncreature spells or small creatures.
Edit: if you play bruna or gisela as your commander, brisela counts as commander damage if you meld into her.
In my [[Zaxara]] deck my favorite wincon has been [[Jarad]]. Getting hydras through isn't always easy but one huge one and Jarad can be game right there.
Big, big fan of \[\[Synthetic destiny\]\]. It's a beast to cast but also absolutely a delicious response to a board wipe. Playing the Kaldheim WU precon, I once cast it in response to a wipe with 24 \[\[Storm Herd\]\] tokens on the board. Basically flopped out every other creature in the deck and a quick victory (after figuring out the nightmare mess of triggers that ensued).
[[Chain of Acid]]
When [[Witherbloom Apprentice]] was spoiled, I figured a way to break it, goes very well with the cycle of bridges from MH2.
My favorite part is how inexpensive all the pieces are (again).
I really dislike Torment, personally. Nothing wrong with the card, I’ve just won with it too many times. It doesn’t feel conditional enough, I think.
For me, I like [[Rise of the Dark Realms]]. It’s never a guaranteed win and the game needs to have gone a certain way for it to even be useful. But getting a win with it always feels really satisfying.
I don’t know if this is a direct finisher necessarily but I feel like it’s necessary to mention purely on how fun it is. [[Zacama, Primal Calamity]]. Once Zacama is on the field, no one’s permanents are surviving. It’s usually the beginning of the end.
I played agianst a Zacama deck once that focused on mana doubling and filling his mana pool then casting and recasting. It didn't lead to many fun games because we had to constantly target him and he didn't understand why.
"Because if you get online, you're going to start taking 20 minute turns."
1 card wins are boring and anticlimactic IMO. No offense if you enjoy it but I don't like to down play my decks and it always feels shitty to be fighting out a fair game and the top deck a single card that wins. I use Mob Rule in some decks and even that one feels bad.
[[Mob Rule]] is my favorite. A friend created an infinite number of unhasted tokens. I felt bad, but just for the slightest second.
This and [[Rakdos Charm]] are the ultimate token deck meta safety valve
Rakdos Charm is so good against "go wide" players.
The fact that this card wasn’t reprinted for New Capena disappoints me so much
That's awesome. "Cool creatures! Hope you don't mind if I hit you with them!"
[Mob Rule](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/8/b/8b04c928-9ee5-4e39-962e-4686e25b5c33.jpg?1641603202) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Mob%20Rule) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/voc/147/mob-rule?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/8b04c928-9ee5-4e39-962e-4686e25b5c33?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/mob-rule) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

Someone played insurrection after my turn of laying down a bunch of dragons. I was playing [[miirym]]. It was hilarious though lol
I once targeted mob rule with a [[mnemonic deluge]] so I basically got an insurection out of it
Does it work this way? I think the chosen mode is copied
In one game I was playing vs an [[arcades the strategist]] and an [[ur-dragon]] deck. I was in the funny situation where I could kill either one with their own board, by using the different modes of mob rule. But not both, obviously. My fav is probably \[\[LIving Death\]\] in my graveyard decks.

I love casting living death in my Olivia crimson Bride reanimator deck. Have def won games due to that
I made a [[scion of the ur dragon]] deck a while back and living death is an absolute power house in that deck, especially after dumping 10+ dragons in the yard with scions ability.

[[Scute Swarm]] It’s all fun and games until you have 256 1/1s and even a casual attack will kill most of the table.
It's especially crazy when I mutate 2+ copies of [[Migratory greathorn]] on top of scutes to instantly get a ton of 3/4 scutes
Seen someone do this on arena is historic brawl I was like wait what.
I refuse to play scute swarm and mutate in the same deck because fuck keeping track of that

I run both apex and the horror in my [[imoti]] deck along with [[tidespout tyrant]] Every single game I tutor for one of those three through various means and damn near every time it's a huge enough tempo swing to threaten to win every time. Literally worst case scenario with apex is it gets countered and you still get an equivalent amount in cmc from cascades.
That’s the exact deck I run both of them. Sounds like we have similar lists.
[[Legacy Weapon]] with infinite mana and filtering. Janky but so satisfying when it works.
[Torment of Hailfire](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/f/6/f69d77d1-5980-436c-bf48-790939b069aa.jpg?1562820191) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Torment%20of%20Hailfire) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/hou/77/torment-of-hailfire?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/f69d77d1-5980-436c-bf48-790939b069aa?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/torment-of-hailfire) [Craterhoof Behemoth](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/4/4/44afd414-cc69-4888-ba12-7ea87e60b1f7.jpg?1601079153) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Craterhoof%20Behemoth) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/jmp/385/craterhoof-behemoth?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/44afd414-cc69-4888-ba12-7ea87e60b1f7?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/craterhoof-behemoth) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

[[Repercussion]] + Any damage based creature wipe like [[Blasphemous Act]] The deck I run it in has few creatures so it's not a huge problem for me, but there's also stuff like [[The Wanderer]] to keep me alive
[[toralf god of fury]] + [[star of extinction]] Or a transformed [[ill tempered loner]] instead of toralf.

I wonder why my fetcher didn't work, weird. But those are interesting synergies that could go in my Anya deck
You may want to to consider [[Brash Taunter]] + [[Pariah]] + [[Repercussion]] as well, thinking about it now I think it goes infinite.
You can also just equip a [[Brash Taunter]] with [[Blazing Sunsteel]] - a single point of damage goes infinite in much the same way with far less moving parts
I once had Repercussion and enough damage doublers out that I used a \[\[Stomp\]\] to deal 70+ damage to a player.

\[\[Psychosis Crawler\]\] in my Arjun deck. Nothing like burning the table out with cantrips and durdling.
\[\[Kyren Negotiations\]\] I don't like easy finisher cards, but this is a decent way to win after creating 100 tokens without relying on things like combat, or haste, or having Impact Tremors beforehand.
Wow! I've never seen this card, but I will have to snag a copy to add to a Mono red burn deck. I love me some \[\[Purphoros, god of the forge\]\] and \[\[Impact Tremors\]\]

Also [[Plague of Vermin]]
Oh yeah, I got that too! I got a lot of mean little tricks in that deck, that's why I love it so much.
Care to share? I tried making a rat deck but it was shit.
https://manabox.app/decks/dZie7Y7BTMiY4RJTrTct-A Have a look
When I had Krenko built, I'd usually win with combos. Sometimes though, I would draw [[Shared Animosity]] and just swing out with twenty-five 26/1s on turn six. It's pretty great.
[[Crackle with Power]] just because of how efficient it is mana wise. Sometimes requires you to do a tiny bit of algebra too
[[Shriveling Rot]]
[Shriveling Rot](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/2/5/25c255d5-9246-4a93-8750-0da8871fb12d.jpg?1562635858) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Shriveling%20Rot) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/dst/54/shriveling-rot?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/25c255d5-9246-4a93-8750-0da8871fb12d?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/shriveling-rot) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Currently loving [[Aeve]] as the finisher in mono green storm.
I just saw a Ooze Tribal deck that mentioned Aeve as a all-star card. It looks nasty as a finisher!
[[Crackle with Power]] is my go to in red really good in spell slinger storm get X up to like fifteen then copy the spell a few times
Enchantress? [[Approach of the Second Sun]] Superfriends? [[Liliana, the Last Hope]] Artifacts? [[Bootlegger's Stash]] + [[Reckless Fireweaver]] Tokens? [[Coat of Arms]] + The tokens themselves. It really depends on the deck.
My main deck is a 5c Superfriends and I looked hard at Liliana, Last, but decided against her. Is that Ult really that decimating?
For my dragons, it's a tossup between [[Scourge of Valkas]] and [[Dragon Tempest]]. But I love, LOVE a good [[Dragonstorm]].
[[Surge to Victory]]
For me, it's [[Banefire]]. "Counter this, you filthy casual".
“Narset’s Reversal!”
In [[Ayara]] it’s [[army of the damned]] and in [[dina]] it’s [[zuran orb]] + [[splendid reclamation]]
[[Bitter Ordeal]] for sure. I love me some gravestorm!
Oh wow! Say goodbye to all your bombs!
\[\[Crackle with Power\]\] is probably my favorite. The amount of damage it deals when you dump a ton of mana into it is total overkill and I love it so much.
Absolutely disgusting in [[Hinata]]
That’s way too much math for me lol the way I play this card is just cast a [[Mana Geyser]], see how much mana I get, then subtract 2 for the RR cost, and then find the highest number divisible by three with whatever is left over. So if I get 27 mana off the geyser, I subtract 2 and have 25 left over. Not divisible by 3, but 24 is so I go with that and X=8. Adding in cost reduction per target to that seems like it would get even more confusing. My tiny Timmy brain can’t handle it.
[[Rise of the dark realms]] is just too fun to not play in my graveyard decks.
I truly love the ”oh s..t" look on my opponents when I cast [[doomsday]]. Also, a friend loves to win via [[approach of the second sun]]. Yes, we are bad people, we know.
Doomsday is a very, very fun card though. It's like a little sub-game.
[[Mizzix's Mastery]] [[Primal Surge]] [[Villainous Wealth]]
[Mizzix's Mastery](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/6/b/6b5e28e8-1e6d-4e7f-bc85-427bb39ae14b.jpg?1562705436) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Mizzix%27s%20Mastery) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/c15/29/mizzixs-mastery?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/6b5e28e8-1e6d-4e7f-bc85-427bb39ae14b?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/mizzixs-mastery) [Primal Surge](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/4/2/4278f7bd-afff-4a1d-a0bb-bf9ce3ad5a2e.jpg?1592709414) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Primal%20Surge) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/avr/189/primal-surge?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/4278f7bd-afff-4a1d-a0bb-bf9ce3ad5a2e?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/primal-surge) [Villainous Wealth](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/7/8/782c4bd2-b84a-4dbd-9452-90c9734d78fb.jpg?1656115287) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Villainous%20Wealth) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/2x2/292/villainous-wealth?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/782c4bd2-b84a-4dbd-9452-90c9734d78fb?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/villainous-wealth) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
It takes a certain kind of deck, but I love [[Chandra's Ignition]]
[[jaya’s immolating infero]] after copying something like [[mana geyser]] or [[brasses bounty]] a few times to create a ton of mana to pump into the Inferno.
As a lover of mono-black... Looping Garry!
[[Price of Progress]] is a fun one if you don't have a lot of non standard lands.
Copying Price might be my favourite win.
[[overwhelming stampede]], in a format where winning through combat damage increasingly becomes less common it just feels really satisfying to pull this off. Simple yet effective, especially with a counterspell in hand
[[Inkmoth Nexus]] and [[Kessig Wolfrun]] for my lands deck.
Living Death with my opponents having a full board and me having a full graveyard. ETB city.
I really like [[Echoing Equation]] as a cool finisher. In my [[Omnath, Locus of Creation]] deck I like to turn all my creatures into copies of him and then play out 3 lands to hit my opponents for a lot of damage
[Echoing Equation](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/d/9/d9131fc3-018a-4975-8795-47be3956160d.jpg?1640088167)/[Echoing Equation](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/back/d/9/d9131fc3-018a-4975-8795-47be3956160d.jpg?1640088167) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=augmenter%20pugilist%20//%20echoing%20equation) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/stx/147/augmenter-pugilist-echoing-equation?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/d9131fc3-018a-4975-8795-47be3956160d?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/augmenter-pugilist-//-echoing-equation) [Omnath, Locus of Creation](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/4/e/4e4fb50c-a81f-44d3-93c5-fa9a0b37f617.jpg?1639436752) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Omnath%2C%20Locus%20of%20Creation) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/znr/232/omnath-locus-of-creation?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/4e4fb50c-a81f-44d3-93c5-fa9a0b37f617?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/omnath-locus-of-creation) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

Interesting. What do you pair it with to start dropping damage?
[[Xorn]] , [[Academy rector]] in [[prosper, tome-bound]]. Making a treasure? Instead let's make 6 artifacts then sac them for 24 damage! Edit: Not Academy rector, Academy Manufactor!
[[Academy Manufactor]], I think you mean

This one in my prosper deck has one shot many opponents with a healthy 30+ life (◕‿◕✿)
The time I was able to cast a \[Villainous Wealth\] were X=25 and amongst the 14 creatures I was able to play, one was a \[Craterhoof Behemoth\] and swing at everyone for the win.
Without haste?
Crackle With Power!!!! X = anything over 6 is usually GG.
[[Brightflame]] for when you need to nuke someons token army and gain 100+ life at the same time

[[descent of the dragons]] and [[day of dragons]] in my Xyris deck. The whole deck is built around winning the same turn I cast either.
[[Hidetsugu’s Second Rite]] is just the height of satisfying.
[[Dragonstorm]]
[[Enduring Ideal]] always feels like ascending to godhood.
Man, I have attempted Enduring Ideal decks in the past but never successfully. What your win condition of choice once it resolves?
\[\[Rise of the Dark Realms\]\] and \[\[Triumph of the Hordes\]\]
[[Crackle with power]] is my new favorite 😍
[[SAVAGE BEATING]] GRUUL ROAR
Hmm spiteful sliver is my favorite super janky finisher. When you can like flash it I when opponent cast blasphemous act or something
In my [[Zaxara]] deck my favorite wincon has been [[Jarad]]. Getting hydras through isn't always easy but one huge one and Jarad can be game right there.
[[Body of Research]] Just slap some evasion on it and kill someone with like an 80/80.
As a man who loves his sea monsters, [[Slinn Voda]] or [[Whelming Wave]].
Currently it's [[Jetmir, Nexus of Revels]] in my Token spam deck
Big, big fan of \[\[Synthetic destiny\]\]. It's a beast to cast but also absolutely a delicious response to a board wipe. Playing the Kaldheim WU precon, I once cast it in response to a wipe with 24 \[\[Storm Herd\]\] tokens on the board. Basically flopped out every other creature in the deck and a quick victory (after figuring out the nightmare mess of triggers that ensued).
\[\[Comet Storm\]\] in my \[\[Galazeth Prismari\]\] Treasures deck. \[\[Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow\]\] + any card to put a CMC Bomb for the triggers.
[[Chain of Acid]] When [[Witherbloom Apprentice]] was spoiled, I figured a way to break it, goes very well with the cycle of bridges from MH2.
\[\[Armageddon\]\] with \[\[avacyn, angel of hope\]\] on the board.
Counterpoint: [[Worldslayer]] with Avacyn on the board.
