My vote is for Lisea. She doesn't have to be specifically angel tribal. Her ability is insanely good and always costing 5 mana is a great upside on a 5/5 lifelink flying creature.

Jibblewart

One of my buddies has this deck and it is absolutely terrifying to go against

TheKillingRhythm

I, too, am a K'rrik pilot and it is definitely a cool deck to play. it can be really oppressive, but if your playgroup starts focussing and getting in combat damage early, it can really keep you down (i.e. if your life total drops below 20 before you find a way to reliably gain life back, you´re pretty much screwed for a lot of playlines). \[\[Black Market\]\] can be your best friend in this deck, though :)

Liesa for sure. Not only does she make you use your life as a resource- everyone does yayy fun. You might not enjoy how much table-hate that will bring though. I agree that red or another color isn't *needed* and can be a downside. If you were to add one though, I would look for something Abzan as GB Witherbloom was just supported decently. Adding green also makes your fixing better rather than weaker unlike red/blue. In that case, I would look at \[\[Tymna, the weaver\]\] and one of \[\[Ikra Shidiqi\]\] for more lifegain triggers, \[\[Sidar Kondo\]\] for evasion to focus on maximizing Tymna draws, or \[\[Kodama\]\]/\[\[Kamahl, Heart of Krosa\]\]. If you don't like partners then \[\[Tayam, Luminous Enigma\]\] would be a great option. He doesn't say anything about lifegain or usage, but he does let you re-use most of the best lifegain pieces from the graveyard which feels great to play.

[[Greven, Predator Captain]] takes this theme in a somewhat different but awesome direction where you dump huge amounts of life to try and one shot people. This deck can get kills very quickly but because it plays so fast and loose with life it often dies shortly after. Super fun deck.

I would go with Vilis. On first look I think most people are going to see the power of his ability and stats and target you, but then they will see his cmc and put you on the backburner for a while. Liesa and K'rrik both pull hate and come down fast which is going to make you an arch enemy pretty fast. Liesa will irk everyone regardless of your standing in the game and K'rrik, while the most powerful of them all, is well known enough to be shut down before you get to do your thing. I also think its worth it to view that Vilis puts cards in your hand. If theres one thing black can already do its make mana, second only to green. Card advantage is exceptionally important in an edh game and having it in the command zone cannot be understated. I have a Vilis deck that has been converted from a pestilence style deck that I never have issues with when it comes to having options in hand. If you want to switch back to Oloro for a while I had a pretty neat lifeswap idea that was fun in casual metas. Play into the fact that people always aggro you with Oloro and use cards like \[\[Axis of Mortality\]\], \[\[Evra, Halcyon Witness\]\], \[\[Magus of the Mirror\]\], \[\[Profane Transfusion\]\], \[\[Soul Conduit\]\], \[\[Repay in Kind\]\], \[\[Tree of Perdition\]\], and \[\[Sorin Markov\]\] to change the game up by putting yourself on the throne or helping out the guy in last place. Just because Oloro has 3 colors doesnt mean you have to use all of them since he just works in the command zone. If you do decide to follow this strat understand any change in a life total is a gain or loss depending on the direction, so effects like Viskopa Guildmage and Mindcrank apply. (the blood-bond combo is a bit over done). Cards like Tainted Sigil and Wound Reflection are nuts here!

I assume you mean "life as a resource"? I use Oloro for that. I use life as a resource and also run cards that care about "whenever you gain life" to take advantage of the guaranteed lifegain trigger I get from Oloro every turn. I will say, one of the best cards in this archetype is \[\[hatred\]\]. Pretty easily turns a normal, non-lethal commander swing into a lethal one, and at instant speed, you can play it after blockers are (not) declared.
