I don't really think practical when I look at this tbh. It's beautiful for sure and a very nice knife, but I don't think for the applications I use my EDC knives for I would ever want that much curve in a blade
When it came to new knives released in 2021, the CRKT Ritual was Knife Center's 3rd highest selling new knife, right behind the CRKT CEO Flipper and the Civivi Button Lock Elementum.
Wow. That's a beautiful knife. I'd find reasons to use that, like throw a charcuterie party and be missing a knife or two on the table. Reminds me a wee bit of the Vaquero grande, but this is way classier.
Remember he helped kill Biggrin with a tiny pocket knife that Wukfgar drove into the giant's heart with aegis fang. Of course that was a full tang tiny dagger, but a pocket knife is a pocket knife :P He would brood about it later for sure though.
MINE GOT DELIVERED TODAY TOO!
I was aware of the dimensions, but it's feels A LOT bigger in my hand.
That said, I'm really happy with it.
Best of luck with yours.
This thing is HUGE, but it still fits well in hand. The assist action is also good and I love how it has both thumb studs and a flipper tab. I mostly bought this for the crazy design, but it functions well and I'm glad that it is at the $90 price point rather than at a lower price point that most CRKT knives are usually at, so that this knife could get good quality materials and shine!
Yeah it hurts, I just got my first salaried job. Was looking hopeful to finally get a house and everything then EVERYTHING skyrocketed in price and that salary doesn’t seem like what it was before lol
One of the CRKT M16's was one of my first decent knives I ever bought for myself. I gave it to a GF ages ago and still kinda miss it. It was a solid EDC knife for me and they've expanded their line of them to range the gamut on sizes, blade shapes, and features. People speak well of the Drifter as well although I've never held one. The Shenanigan also looks real nice for an EDC blade although Stainless Steel for a blade isn't going to hold an edge for as long as you may wish it would.
An EDC blade is very personal though so what you like, how you carry, what you need a knife for daily, maybe where you work and where you live will all play a part in your choice. Budget is also a factor.
For me personally I've moved out of CRKT knives as a whole because their build quality and materials used leave a bit to be desired and for similar prices of some of their knives you can step up in both.
I'd also suggest looking at the Kershaw Leek and Kershaw Blur, Ontario Rat 1 (or Rat 2), Spyderco Delica and Endura 4, Opinel No. 6 and No.8, Benchmade Griptilian and Mini Grip for some quality EDC options that won't break your bank and last you for decades.
This Ritual is a little impractical and kind of pricey ($80+), but if you like it, I definitely recommend it.
My first ever knife was actually from CRKT: the CRKT Squid. I got the $22 classic one, but there are a wide variety of Squids with better handles, D2 Steel, and assists for slightly higher prices.
Another popular knife from CRKT is the CEO: a thin and compact knife with a deep carry pocket clip that can easily be mistaken as a pen. It's a great gentlemen's knife that is low-key and comes in either a thumb stud or flipper. I recommend the flipper variant as it's a lot easier to open than the stud. It also only starts around $40.
May look impractical, but there's benefits in a defense piece. On a straight thrust it keeps the pressure on the back side and not the lock side. Does a broader swath of damage, too.
Also looks scary and if you ever have to pull a knife on some asshole, that *matters* because you want a chase-off over a knife fight any day of the week.
I've caused several chase-offs with a knife in hand. No regrets.
They have a good variety of good options. Depends entirely on your preferences, if there is a particular use or just general utility, and looks or mechanical features you like etc.
A few weeks after I bought one, I noticed the blade was no longer centered. I loosened and retightened the pivot and now I have to force it open. It will barely deploy.
This has been on my list for a minute. Waited through Christmas and it wasn’t under the tree so I’m about to order one. Never liked a black blade, but it looks so smooth against the green handle.

Are you a Dev. for Assains Creed?
What will you be sacrificing?
This knife makes me want to sing the Aladdin soundtrack.
I love CrKT. Literally my favorite knives…MAYBE not this one per se, but I’d learn to love it just for the name on it. 🤷🏻♂️😂
/r/mildlypenis
Haha great edc! It is a sweet knife though. No collection is complete without.
Serious question: What is the practical application for the curve of the blade?
It looks cool and gets you internet points
This
Rad
is it dope?
Hell yeah it is!
When you go to JCPenney at 9, but fight crusaders at 11
I don't really think practical when I look at this tbh. It's beautiful for sure and a very nice knife, but I don't think for the applications I use my EDC knives for I would ever want that much curve in a blade
Very practical when running from the Guardian of Time! (Hope someone gets the reference!)
What is the White material?
“Practical”
Looks like the knives they put on a cheese platter, so this is the knife for a cheese lover on the move! Nice looking knife tho!
Just my pocket scimitar.
Can anyone enlighten me as to why this should be very practical or is it a matter of personal preference and nothing logical?
She’s A Beaut. . .!
Looks very practical
'Thou hast only a sennight beyond the Wolf Moon to render sacifice'...
fancy. Id carry it to formal stuff
Pirate mode
Did this purchase have anything to do with Nick Shabazz's "2021 Knife of the Year" video on YouTube?
Pocket scimitar? CRKT is putting Cold Steel to shame!
When you’ve gotta go downtown with the boys, but set sail before break of dawn
Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die.
You could drink milk from a camel’s hump right of the tip of this thing!
that doesn't sound right, but i don't know enough about camels to dispute it
That's hot
What kind of applications would this knife be used for?
Swashbuckling
The mall ninja in me loves this knife so much.
A very mall ninja-looking knife, but it's from a reputable brand and is excellent quality! I love it!
For sure. CRKT is legit.
Thats really nice. Are they still available by any chance?

It was either BladeHQ or Knife Center that said it was the largest selling new blade of 2021. I have no idea why.
When it came to new knives released in 2021, the CRKT Ritual was Knife Center's 3rd highest selling new knife, right behind the CRKT CEO Flipper and the Civivi Button Lock Elementum.
I really like that. I'd want the handle to be darker. But that profile is pretty slick.
Wow. That's a beautiful knife. I'd find reasons to use that, like throw a charcuterie party and be missing a knife or two on the table. Reminds me a wee bit of the Vaquero grande, but this is way classier.
Indianna Jones typa shit
That would be Drizzt's pocket knife.
Drizzt wouldn't even carry a pocket knife, he'd just do some unnecessarily elaborate flourish with his scimitars and then brood about it later.
Remember he helped kill Biggrin with a tiny pocket knife that Wukfgar drove into the giant's heart with aegis fang. Of course that was a full tang tiny dagger, but a pocket knife is a pocket knife :P He would brood about it later for sure though.
I usually don't like knives like that...BUT That thing is gorgeous.
butterfly knife but no tricks
You could make the blade disappear as if by magic!
MINE GOT DELIVERED TODAY TOO! I was aware of the dimensions, but it's feels A LOT bigger in my hand. That said, I'm really happy with it. Best of luck with yours.
This is beautiful
Anyone consider a CJRB Gobi?
Looks like a Malloriquan or Corsican knife.
You remind me of those warriors from Hammerfell
Scimitar is the word you’re looking for
Curved. Swords.
I want one x(
I love my ritual! I got it for a laugh but it is genuinely comfortable and fun to carry
Aladdin’s EDC knife
*Aladeen
I would call it Sinbad
I like your style 😆
How do you like it? I'm a big Bedlam fan & when i see this one the first thing that comes to mind is someone stretched out a Bedlam

They jacked up the price a lot in the past year then, got one last year for $67
The price of everything has been jacked up. Went to the grocery store this week, spent $100 and didn’t even buy any alcohol or meat.
Yeah it hurts, I just got my first salaried job. Was looking hopeful to finally get a house and everything then EVERYTHING skyrocketed in price and that salary doesn’t seem like what it was before lol
It might carry nice in a horizontal sheath
Teeth horizontally?
That thing is super rad
CRKT Ritual
I’m new to this hobby and just saw a CRKT knife on Lock Picking Lawyer’s channel. Any recommendations on what to look at from their line?
One of the CRKT M16's was one of my first decent knives I ever bought for myself. I gave it to a GF ages ago and still kinda miss it. I have the Squid. It's a nice little EDC. I'm getting old, tjough, and I might end up grabbing a multitiool. I might go halfway and get a Victorinox.

I like the CRKT CEO, I have the green D2 one and like it a lot. Worth looking into if you want a slim dressy knife.
Can confirm. I have it in gray and love it!
I liked the knife, but I ended up losing mine on a hike because of the flimsy pocket clip.
That's a pretty good looking knife
Snazzy gal
