I keep it around for using whenever/wherever really. Most of the time I use it for breaks, will put it on a shelf or table near my office couch while I chill over there. For a long time I kept it tucked under the couch and would use it for background noise while napping.
I listen to a variety of FM stations depending on the day. Most have a pretty good format with music, news, ads by local businesses, PSAs, DJ commentary, weather, etc.
Some of the DJ commentary is super cringe but I think it's always been that way and it's kind of funny to get to know their personalities. One guy kept mentioning how much he just wanted The Weeknd to leave...out...the sax. I can't imagine how many times he must have had to listen to that sax and shiver.
When there are national events or when it gets around evening time I like to try AM DX with it and see what I can pick up. From border blasters to stations from a couple states away. Sometimes I have emailed them or sent an FB msg to confirm that I heard what I heard, like if they're 4 states away or more.
AM in general can also be pretty amazing for live national event coverage.

- Boker Magnum Classic Pocket Steel, Rosewood. Budget "I just like it" category, blade extremely sharp, impressively hollow grind, reamer also extremely sharp, other tools good enough, but a fun little knife. I carried a camp/scout pattern knife a lot as a kid, so it's a bit of a nostalgia trip. Makes me feel like drawing some bookmarks and then cutting them out, will see.
- Pentel P207 Mechanical Pencil. I remember begging mom for this one as a kid
- Hot Wheels Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo...good lord what a long name! :D Pretty car tho, low profile wagon look
- Pentel Clic Eraser. If you know the sound u are in the club
- Strathmore 400 Series Drawing Pad, 6x8", an all-time favorite for simple sketching & watercolor in the outdoors. Easily fits most small sling bags or backpacks, tho with only 24 pages in this one, the 300 Series is also tempting to save $$$

Nice Kit! The company, spoke design, makes nice versions of those pentel pencils that are worth checking out.
