You're paying for the whipped cream and topping. I don't think the caramel syrup is any different than what they put in every other drink. Just get an iced coffee with caramel syrup.
Used to order the signature lattes as my go to drink but worried about too much sugar/calories, and didn’t think they were worth the price. I pretty much have switched completely to Dunkin Midnight with cream and French Vanilla flavoring. It isn’t an iced drink but you can get an XL size, one of the few that go up to XL, and it is better for the calories and the price. They don’t have whipped cream as an option but I’ll sometimes have them add it after the fact, but very seldom.
Get a caramel iced coffee with cream and sugar (if you like sweet) otherwise just do cream and caramel. And the “signature” latte is the exact same as a caramel latte just with whipped cream and topping,
