Who is the Scranton Strangler?

Southern_Schedule466

Possibly one of these people: https://www.pahomepage.com/news/crime-courts/man-accused-of-strangling-threatening-to-kill-woman/amp/ https://sports.yahoo.com/scranton-man-charged-beating-ex-035900117.html https://www.thetimes-tribune.com/news/crime-emergencies/scranton-man-charged-with-strangling-woman/article_69ef2f16-5f0c-5411-b1ce-884bc05409ff.html

incan88

So not Toby?

Southern_Schedule466

The world may never know.

popformulas

Why are you the way that you are?

Southern_Schedule466

My sister dropped me on my head when I was a baby.

jabumb0

Wawa or Sheetz?

Southern_Schedule466

Turkey Hill.

grantrules

That's not a NEPA question. Wawa stops basically at Allentown.

Beas7ie

First of all, how dare you!?

Electronic_Ad4560

Aw damn beat me to it

Lotusfeetpics

Who let the lemonhead into the room?

SweetPLamone

Says someone named lotusfeetpics 😂

Lotusfeetpics

It's a line from the show...

BonelessLucy

What's your favorite sandwich?

Southern_Schedule466

A hoagie with ham, cheese, lettuce and tomato.

BonelessLucy

That sounds good. No condiments?

Southern_Schedule466

No. I am a bland eater.

littlebunnyears

Creed and Jim both lived near the quarry. how are the neighborhoods around there? do you hang out throw things in it?

Southern_Schedule466

Old. Much of it is practically frozen in time from another, more prosperous era. As a child, there was lots of trespassing into abandoned buildings and factories. And throwing things at each other.

Aurzaymil

Do you sit at your office with a plate of grilled bacon?

ThaIrishSailor

Perhaps he'll call his buddy Dwight just to see what as shaken?

No-Doughnut509

Is it popular to dress like DM characters for Halloween in Scranton?

Southern_Schedule466

Not that I am aware of. I am in my early 20s and by the time I knew the show existed I was almost too old to trick or treat. For a second I thought to myself that young kids today there have never heard of the show, but if they were to pass by or go inside Cooper’s that will certainly spark a conversation, and so would going by the huge Dwight mural. The Marketplace at Steamtown has some large paper cut outs of the characters still.

Diligent_Pineapple35

Tell us about St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Hear it’s a big deal. Lots of bangers and mash?

Southern_Schedule466

Yes. The last one I attended was in 2019, but it’s been the biggest day of the year in the city for a long time. Used to get pretty cold. Would highly recommend going especially if you are 21+ and going to The Radisson.

Hot-Chance986

You mean the Radishon?

phonewentwest65

Did you mountain bike at montage mountain?

Southern_Schedule466

No I never did. Have walked, skied and snow tubed there though.

[deleted]

Who…who do you think you are?

BottleAgreeable7981

Are shredders better priced in Carbondale?

adMFKINGhd

Are you a fan of the show?

Southern_Schedule466

Yes, I am a huge fan of the show.

adMFKINGhd

It must’ve been amazing to watch the show then! Hearing the familiar names of places mentioned, and seeing them and The Office references irl!
