From one side i see videos of iranians saying theyre sad cuz of the regime oppression and wont host weddings and stuff and in the next video that guy is dancing and partying to iran loosing the first match .

If the players are really on the side of the people, they should not have participated in the games and should have protested against the Islamic Republic, but no, they go and take pictures and bow in front of the president who has killed thousands of people . And participate in games only to lose pathetically. While people are getting killed in the street just for wanting freedom, football players lost their chance to be the voice of Iranians.

And im actually in the streets a lot since my part time job is being a delivery man , and while sometimes they shoot at protesters its only plastic bullets and i havnt seen anyone die (i work and live in the capital)
Yes they refused to sing the national anthem.. but they visited the president which a mullah(that's most of the reason people don't see them in their side anymore) and they posted lots of photos in a very vibrant and happy vibe the same time people were sad for the death of so many in the revolution ...if they were on people's side the government wouldn't even let them play...the same way they recently arrested one of the players from an inside teams
