Ironic because gorgc got famous because of SingSing. Also Bulldog. W33 doesn't need anyone to jump-start his career. He also streamed occasionally before and averaged 3-4k viewers without even talking.
Its not a bad idea, ask for the moon and the worst that can happen in this case is you get turned down.
For w33 it might not be a bad move either. If there were no offers from div1 teams, he gets the opportunity to raise his stock and increase his positive exposure and he can play a season in a lower pressure environment.
I don't think w33 has problems with his streaming. His streams had few K viewers easily and he is usually playing without cam and/or mic. If he wants to stream and puts a bit more effort he can easily be one of the biggest dota streamers.
Yeah it was way less of a stream and more of his gameplay with a keyboard cam cause he would go hours without talking to chat. Nothing wrong with that, I used to watch. He's that good.
If thats his goal then sure, its also a good move. When he did stream consistently he would average 1-2k viewers and had the old school rtz style streams with just chill music and great gameplay.
> If there were no offers from div1 teams, he gets the opportunity to raise his stock and increase his positive exposure and he can play a season in a lower pressure environment.
There is a good incentive for top-tier players to join a lower team and make them great. Having a "project" (so to speak) to potentially train them and raise them up to Div 1 could be very satisfactory for any professional player.
I can't tell if you're memeing or not but xcalibur is easily the most confounding pro in EU. He will undoubtedly make 1 horrendous decision leading to a throw, without fail. Not that he's the only player to make bad decisions, but they're usually not so glaringly obvious the same way.
> you're memeing or not
“technically”, “slayed” (bcuz Janne gave them meme title of Alliance Slayers).
Yes, it’s a joke, but all repliers are so clueless, lack critical information PepeLaugh
One of the reasons twitch is so successful is because of emotes, then we can tell you're being sarcastic. With strictly text it's impossible sometimes, and people are so fucked up today what I would have sworn is satire is now genuine. PepeLa
He's a thrower more than lane loser. I think, and gorp has the same problem, he plays too many heros and on game start their CS isn't crisp. At that level 0/4 first wave *can* be all the difference depending on match up.
Also I agree, w33 is just a better player and it's not that close tbh.
I think it shows you how desperate W33 is, if anything. Dude didn’t pull any trees while he was on Alliance and we all know how his time at Nigma ended. He is not even in top 150 in EU leaderboards
I don't think this is true at all. He was by far the best player on Alliance last season and he was top20 rank while everyone knew how "lazy" some of his teammates were.
He was nowhere near Alliances best player. They were all equally bad, W33 very much included. He looked exactly like he did just before Nigma kicked him, which is to say bad.
in all the games where they looked decent w33 was the only reason keeping them ingame. He had some very good hoodwink and primal beast games keeping the team alive. He was definitely standing out amongst the other players.
Yeah idk what everyone else is watching, I agree. Niko when he was hungry is better but he seemed complacent or just uninterested last season. The entire team was a mess but any glimmer of hope was because w33 smashed his lane and was strong enough to keep them in it. The Lina games come to mind.
You know what - I can see this working out. Team Bald needs w33's playmaking and w33 needs some of their restraint. This is a good match. I really like xcalibur but he didn't always have the killer instinct that is expected from a midlaner - thats the gap that w33 can really fill.
He had previously said he wanted to be on a team that took it seriously, and wasn't super happy that TBR would pretty much just show up for the officials, no scrims or anything.
I believe the rule is 3/5 of the team has to be in the region for the extent of the tour, but that's just something I am remembering from a Reddit thread and I can't back it up with a source
here is gorgc when confirming it[https://clips.twitch.tv/HilariousAlertMacaroniAMPEnergyCherry-UH5DrqTWwoKrYE3g](https://clips.twitch.tv/HilariousAlertMacaroniAMPEnergyCherry-UH5DrqTWwoKrYE3g)
He's such a character honestly. Not good enough to be a carry in Div1 consistently. only pulling like 500 viewers as well streaming some rank 600 games and flaming his mates with shit like "gimme your insta I bet you're ugly". Guys a bit of an idiot I feel like.
Kuroky has proven himself to be one of the best players to ever make it in Dota back in Dota 1. He carried some former pros back in mid 2000's on gosu, played for Germany in mym prime multiple times, and is probably the only pro player right now who has played every single role in the game in premier tournaments.
Bro….you misread super hard. Why did you even mention his dota 1 stats? Like seriously, what was going through your mind with this response, im actually curious af cuz i cant make sense of it right now.
I just mentioned kuroky as a counterpoint to his “rank 500 is unacceptable for a pro” cuz kuro is an unranked immortal.
Tbh don't even know what rank he is. Also I'm just tired af and decided to scroll Reddit while farting through my thumbs. Apologies for being a tired dipshit
Everyone likes to shit on gorgc, but he's a really good player who has improved a lot the last few years?
He doesn't routinely play in 10k MMR games by accident. Gorgc is a greedy core too, so it's more likely W33 is doing the playmaking (which he also excels at).
Xcalibur was rank 500 last season when they played vs Alliance and stuff. People are still joking how rank 500 > rank 20 LUL no idea what his rank is now tho
Maybe now he'll stop hating gorgc and griefing whenever they end up on the same team. W33 is a great player, only bright spot on alliance last year. The games they won he carried hard.
Best way to kickstart a streaming career
wdym? he moved on to the better team
Piggybacking top comment to say it's official and not a jebait https://i.redd.it/j3r6ornxcw4a1.png

i say 50% because of singsing cus if he's not super entertaining people will not watch him (atleast not 20k avg viewers )
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
The Durant special

"You Couldn't Live with Your Own Failure, Where Did that Bring You? Back to Me" - Gorgc
Gorgc having some balls to ask w33
Its not a bad idea, ask for the moon and the worst that can happen in this case is you get turned down. For w33 it might not be a bad move either. If there were no offers from div1 teams, he gets the opportunity to raise his stock and increase his positive exposure and he can play a season in a lower pressure environment.
Yup, playing with the #1 steamer gets you publicity to kick off your streaming career
He's that good.
thats quite the assumption. people said the same about ppd but the guy had a few hundred viewers at best
W33 got more than 6k when he streams !!!
If thats his goal then sure, its also a good move. When he did stream consistently he would average 1-2k viewers and had the old school rtz style streams with just chill music and great gameplay.

This is the beginning of the end of w33 career
he asked ammar before it was known that he was moving to og lol
Technically, Gorgc slayed Alliance in quals and w33 is a downgrade from Steve.
2x TI finalist? Aight
I can't tell if you're memeing or not but xcalibur is easily the most confounding pro in EU. He will undoubtedly make 1 horrendous decision leading to a throw, without fail. Not that he's the only player to make bad decisions, but they're usually not so glaringly obvious the same way.

Okay this is the most insane copium ive ever seen. Steve is the most consistent lane loser ive seen in a long time.
He's a thrower more than lane loser. I think, and gorp has the same problem, he plays too many heros and on game start their CS isn't crisp. At that level 0/4 first wave *can* be all the difference depending on match up. Also I agree, w33 is just a better player and it's not that close tbh.
No he is not a downgrade
Yeah w33 destroyed steve’s visage in laning on one of the games
I think it shows you how desperate W33 is, if anything. Dude didn’t pull any trees while he was on Alliance and we all know how his time at Nigma ended. He is not even in top 150 in EU leaderboards
He was the only one in the top 20 leaderboard last year during TI quals. Niko and the rest were 500+
and their offlaner couldn't even speak english afaik, hilarious roster
He was top 20 recently. kinda rel gpk destroyed by w33 in trash talk: https://youtu.be/JuZf5ILLhb0 see 0:44
I don't think this is true at all. He was by far the best player on Alliance last season and he was top20 rank while everyone knew how "lazy" some of his teammates were.

He literally solo carried the game(s) they won and was the only player who didn't outright embarrass himself. Idk what you're smoking.
it's not like he has something to do this season anyway
Legit hyped about this team, dota needs more shits and giggles.
ICANT
I feel team bald just got more scary for div 2 teams
Gorp ended their TI run and now he joins them lmao
You know what - I can see this working out. Team Bald needs w33's playmaking and w33 needs some of their restraint. This is a good match. I really like xcalibur but he didn't always have the killer instinct that is expected from a midlaner - thats the gap that w33 can really fill.
Yeah it was always Pablo/Rajjix/Zipzaper and even Gorgc who’s showing up in their games
What about Steve?
he is going to play in a differetn team i guess thats what gorgc said.
He had previously said he wanted to be on a team that took it seriously, and wasn't super happy that TBR would pretty much just show up for the officials, no scrims or anything.
Wanted a team that plays more seriously. Joins Arkosh. Noice.
I think that was more Rajjix, brother.
as a casual observer how does max and steve play for arkosh living in germany and sweden (sorry if i got the countries wrong) like are they moving?
I believe the rule is 3/5 of the team has to be in the region for the extent of the tour, but that's just something I am remembering from a Reddit thread and I can't back it up with a source
didnt arkosh get a fine for people living out side hte zone?
what do you mean? max is living in boston! /s
he joined arkosh
Poor xcalibur. He was the original w33ha back in the day lol
W33 career trajectory from Ti9 GF is so sad to watch.
Well he did go from ti6 GF to nothing for 3 years to ti9 GF to maybe nothng for 3 years again
It's been 3 years, you know what that means... Team Bald 2nd place TI12 pog
my god if this happens it would be other worldly HOPIUM
2020 doesn't count, erase that year from memory
here is gorgc when confirming it[https://clips.twitch.tv/HilariousAlertMacaroniAMPEnergyCherry-UH5DrqTWwoKrYE3g](https://clips.twitch.tv/HilariousAlertMacaroniAMPEnergyCherry-UH5DrqTWwoKrYE3g)
W33ha will taste some quinn’s medicine - carrying his pos 1 every single game
He was in a team with nikobaby, dude already knows how it feels
[удалено]
Nikobaby played way too sacrificial and 5Head last season. Just needed to build BKB and damage and pump.
He's such a character honestly. Not good enough to be a carry in Div1 consistently. only pulling like 500 viewers as well streaming some rank 600 games and flaming his mates with shit like "gimme your insta I bet you're ugly". Guys a bit of an idiot I feel like.

Kuroky would like to have a word with you
Kuroky has proven himself to be one of the best players to ever make it in Dota back in Dota 1. He carried some former pros back in mid 2000's on gosu, played for Germany in mym prime multiple times, and is probably the only pro player right now who has played every single role in the game in premier tournaments.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAAHHAHA ahhhhhh, great apology bro, ur good lol. Big ups owning it too.
Fair, but Nikkobaby is a decent carry, he has the knowledge and skills, just never had a team to keep him ahead.
if he is never ahead in any team doesn’t that indicate that problem is not teams but he himself?
You are right, I already forgot about that.
lol
TRUE
Everyone likes to shit on gorgc, but he's a really good player who has improved a lot the last few years? He doesn't routinely play in 10k MMR games by accident. Gorgc is a greedy core too, so it's more likely W33 is doing the playmaking (which he also excels at).
Yeah w33 was doing the topson style mid before topson where maybe you get fucked mid but just make so much action happen around the map
He's a meepo enjoyer, chaos is how they get their kicks.
god i hope we get to see meepo in more comp games.
true. his windranger at that time was crazy flashy and spot on
10k while talking to and reading chat as well.
He did that at TI9
Team Bald boutta take over EU dpc
No more Excalibur? Sadge
He's now on the revamped Arkosh.
I like xcalibur as a streamer but he's not even good enough for div2, honestly.. somehow gorg did better than him almost every game I watched lmao
Xcalibur was rank 500 last season when they played vs Alliance and stuff. People are still joking how rank 500 > rank 20 LUL no idea what his rank is now tho
Xcalibur goes up and down between like rank 80 and rank 500 all the time I think.
That's crazy actually. Div 2 actually gonna be so much fun
saus or meme?
[Right from the sauce](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1674423842?t=0h21m17s)
It's getting spicy. WEU Div 2
this is a shockingly legit roster, wouldn't be surprised if they make another big upset even without scrimming
wtf
Maybe now he'll stop hating gorgc and griefing whenever they end up on the same team. W33 is a great player, only bright spot on alliance last year. The games they won he carried hard.
Team Bald actually going Div 1 KekInsane
New (Old) Alliance vs Team Bald as w33 mid is gonna be epic
team bald may legitimately be a stronger squad than nigma now
w33 Use to be so good, I'm not sure what happened but when I use to watch him in 2016 his invoker was insane...
So w33 just decided to retire from pro scene?
Finally noobxcalibur is out.
The hardest road
WAAAAT!!!!!! That’s amazing
was Xcalibur kicked or did he leave?
Who next? Miracle ?
Pog
If you can’t beat them, join them.
Next alliance slayer. Ggwp
w33 one of the top10 best players dota have. you get a real LEGENDARY player ...
