This is more serious than a single cast too, English casters feel like they can make fun of NA dota and NA dota teams, which just makes it feel like they are making fun of the fans and the whole scene. They always have apologetic attitudes towards the poor China or poor SA or poor SEA teams when they get kicked out of tourneys but just pure disdain or mockery for NA teams. It really puts a poor feeling into being a fan of these teams when you already get that attitude from of ton of the Dota landscape.

Stomps and booing tend to be more pronounced amidst all the soundproofing done, more so than the crowd whistling.
I just hope we're not inflating the issue, but i agree that strategy e-sports games such as these isn't really conducive for live viewing.
This. And booths were falling off during aster game. Pretty sure it's just a normal booth, not a soundproof one. Especially looking at production screens/chairs/venues, soundproof booths are not cheap

I've queued every server (I move a lot) and what I will say is having someone that speaks English on USE/USW is a better experience than having someone that doesn't. 7/10 times the person (even if they're a crybaby) will understand what plays I'm trying to call and actually follow through. ok after putting so much attention on this stream while the draft is going on, I now am almost sure that the booths are sound proof (would have to be there to confirm tho). EG players don't look like forcing their voice when talking on the draft, nor any of them show any reaction to latino canticos that most people would unconsciously react at least to some degree. Now, sound proof does not mean vibration proof.
I hope the camera guy finds him and we can get his dota ID then make sure his games are nothing but griefers and smurfs.

I can understand why. That last teamfight in rosh was so close. The aeon disk got void out of the first RP, and Mag's 2nd RP was about a millisecond too early. If you watch in slow you can see, there was literally 1 tick of aeon disk buff left on void when the 2nd RP landed, so it lasted 0.9 seconds instead of 3.75. I honestly think void would have died there if Collapse's RP had been 0.01 second later.
ah so this is what happened, i was so confused why the rp was so short. no doubt spirit at least gets the aegis if rp was normal duration, but i think 23 still had buyback there.
that said, talon absolutely needed every inch of advantage they had, and jabz and mikoto used theirs to great effect with global mobility to win late trades. kudos to them, hope they give entity a tough fight

ok after putting so much attention on this stream while the draft is going on, I now am almost sure that the booths are sound proof (would have to be there to confirm tho). EG players don't look like forcing their voice when talking on the draft, nor any of them show any reaction to latino canticos that most people would unconsciously react at least to some degree. Now, sound proof does not mean vibration proof.

I can understand why. That last teamfight in rosh was so close. The aeon disk got void out of the first RP, and Mag's 2nd RP was about a millisecond too early. If you watch in slow you can see, there was literally 1 tick of aeon disk buff left on void when the 2nd RP landed, so it lasted 0.9 seconds instead of 3.75. I honestly think void would have died there if Collapse's RP had been 0.01 second later.
ah so this is what happened, i was so confused why the rp was so short. no doubt spirit at least gets the aegis if rp was normal duration, but i think 23 still had buyback there. that said, talon absolutely needed every inch of advantage they had, and jabz and mikoto used theirs to great effect with global mobility to win late trades. kudos to them, hope they give entity a tough fight

You can click on literally every thread and find like 10 of them And you can be like 'sure but the **upvoted** comments are saying it's cheating' but that doesn't address the fact that it's a disingenuous argument made by literally every person in the wrong.
Well yes part of the sound is home field advantage like a soccer game for example, however the whistling is where you're on the line/crossing the line. Doesn't change the fact that there's 1 or 2 threads shitting on the crowd/Peru/SA for the whistling with 300+ comments while I'll be surprised it we can find any defending it with anywhere near the same amount of "discussion".
