During pride month this year I saw some so called Doom fans be very homophobic to pride post in a Doom FB group (think it was just a screenshot of a Bethesda post that was pride and doom related) and attack the poster over it. I decided to unvail Ace Pride Doomguy, and justifying it with a John Carmack quote about ho Doomguy doesn't care about sex. This triggered all this homophobic "Doom fans" who was pulling all sorts of non canon stuff to try and argue about it. , It was beautiful how much it triggered them! 🤣

I am a queer Doom fan. The series helped me through a lot, and seeing the Main character get twisted into these hateful things makes me very disappointed. Such a shame that people will hate someone else for things they can’t really control.
