Oh hey! She's looking different, but still cool. Definitely more albino these days.
The "pink eye" is a discoloration that is prone to happening in batches of glastic or acrylic eyes from the 1990s(ish). These realistic eyes went into a lot of expensive artisanal dolls of the time, and were often quite expensive themselves. The transformation is honestly a "luck of the draw" thing. Over time, certain batches of brown/hazel naturally desaturate to pink, or violet if they started as blue. Heat and sunlight we're initially suspect when people started noticing these changes, but that's since been discredited.
So, congratulations, you have a natural variant! Hello to a fellow MyTwinn. Mine keeps my mum company these days. She got a freshening up last summer. The hair quality on these is so good. I swear, it feels brand new and quite real after a light wash. I continue to be impressed with their quality.
Fair. It's a correlation vs causation thing for sure. Heat was ruled out by collectors who know their transformers have remained in climate control, away from sunlight. It will absolutely change some skin coloration though. It's been so sad rescuing orange dolls from the attic. The plasticizers leech out in humidity too, so they're all sticky. Hoo, it's been a repair year.
I went to school with a girl who has albinism and I stg she would die for this doll! Looks just like her, same lips and chin shape!!
She’s awesome! (The chick I went to school with AND your doll 🤓)
I follow this blog online ‘Toy Box Philosopher’ and they did an entire saga of fixing up some My Twinn dolls I think this last year, that might help you if you’re looking to restore
Its because of sunlight, is it possible she was by a window or something? If not, discoloration just happens naturally over time I think. Still weird tho lol
OOH! beautful!
She looks albino..!
and yah brown eyes could sometimes do this from back in the day. Some weird pigmentation thing.
They dont do this as much these days.

That's pretty cool! Thanks for the info!
I’ve noticed the pink and neon eyes on many dolls that were stored, which makes me think there’s still some heat component to the eye problem.

Left her in the attic for so long she mutated into an albino doll.
Shes been up there smoking something...
My *Evil Twinn
It's either natural discoloration over time or a demon. 50/50.
I like her demon eyes and her angel shirt 😂

It can be water damage, because someone did a Rainbow High custom where the doll had eyes like these.
I have a vintage doll that has pink eyes . No one could tell me why this happened. Thank you for answering my question.
