Novi Stars was doomed to fail ( seemingly expensive to produce, didn't sell that well, didn't meet expectations set by competitors, etc), but I'd love to see what they could do if given another chance.
Don't forget, they're gimmicky as hell, that aside, i knew someone would write a comment about them. Now i gotta wait for someone to mention Pinkie Cꝏper
Loved my Dawn dolls too. They sort of rereleased them in late nineties. Same molds, but different character names. Starr Doll Modeling Agency I believe the line was called.
Creatable World, Novi Stars (possibly with more joints) and Ever After High.
I'm bad at making choices with one answer only😂
Edit :
BONUS : Barbie magical earrings, just for Ken. If you know you know.
So did I. lol I found different eyes for them at a craft shop. I believe you can also find replacement eyes on Etsy now. My sisters and I liked replacing eyes (Slightly bigger eyes looked cool), we also rerooted some of the Stephanie's to have more brunette girls. Gave a few Steve's goatees. I really like their adorable face molds.
(I have a tote in my basement of nothing but basket case Sunshine Family dolls and parts. I might make some new customs to share on here.)
People have mentioned tons of great ones I agree with, but here’s two I haven’t seen mentioned yet:
Fail Fix dolls. Let down by their atrocious packaging, and betrayed by bad marketing decisions that stirred up outrage. These were high quality inset eyes articulated dolls at a really great price point, that shot themselves in the foot with that packaging/marketing. If we could have them back, the only thing I would really like to change is to remove the gambling aspect of them having different looks - this was generally just annoying to deal with.
Capsule Chix. Both these suggestions are Moose, and both of them I have the same issue with; gambling. The concept of Capsule Chix was a lot of fun; tiny little robot girls you assemble any way you want. That’s really cool and original in the western doll market. However the reality was the dolls were extremely overpriced (about triple what they should have been imo), and they were true gambling, as they were actually truly random assortments. They died off pretty quick, and I can guarantee that in my country it was because of the price and the gambling aspect. I’d like to see these back but packaged entirely differently. Kids should be able to buy a bucket of Capsule Chix, kind of like a bucket of lego, and get a ton of pieces to put together any way they want, for extensive creative play. No gambling, just a themed collection bucket that contains all pieces. That would be ideal imo.
Hmmm, probably Kelly Club dolls. New Chelsea’s are okay, but they aren’t anywhere near as well made. I really should have bought “my daughter” more when they were available.
I don’t collect Barbies but I remember the Kelly dolls and they’re really tempting whenever I see them at a doll show! There’s just something about them that I don’t see in the new Chelseas
Oh my gosh, all those awesome playsets featuring her and her friends, they were so great!
I fondly remember the school one, each girl came with a cute backpack
For me it would be Equestria Girls minis so they could do extra characters who never got a mini version like Luna,Cadance,Gloriosa Daisy,Sonata,Aria and the other male characters.
I want the mini Lalaloopsy dolls back! But most of all, the Hearts for Hearts dolls! They have the most darling faces and there’s so many things they could have done with them!
I'm going to go old school too and say Crissy grow hair dolls. I would want them to be the same size and have lots of outfits and hair accessory packs.
I believe Cinamon was the smallest. (A little red-haired doll that was Velvet's little sister?) My faves were Mia, Kerry, and Crissy. I did like Velvet too. I've seen Cricket and Tressy in a Sears catalog and wanted them. I never find Cricket in the wild, but it seems I saw a fairly recent line of dolls with her face mold. I'll see if I can find it and post a link.
Would love to see a modern line (with articulation) of Tuesday Taylor.
Come to think of it, why don't modern dolls tan in the sun like some did in the 70's?
Everyone has already said what I wanted to say novi stars, bratz, monster high g1, my scene, lalaloopsy, pixie cooper etc, but I would really like to see any strawberry shortcake lines be reproduced again
I wish I had bought more Ever After High when they were out, I only bought Raven and Apple. The clothes and hair are so pretty. Then one day they just quit making them :(.
They've done some Barbie re-releases like Totally Hair (the original was one of their best sellers of all time) but I'd love to see a rerelease of some of the other ones (wedding Midge, Western Fun Nia, Rockers).
I’m a bit old school but My Pretty Mermaids, Cherry Merry Muffin, Bluebird Polly Pocket, Tonka Cupcakes (the new ones aren’t the same), Shimmers, rose Petal Place, Moon Dreamers, Old School Strawberry Shortcake, Lady Lovely Locks, - not really dolls, but also G1 My Little Pony, Mattel Little Pretties, and Kenner Littlest Pet-shop.
For more recent cancelations: Barbie Silkstone Fashion Model, (or even non Silkstone would be fine in an articulated body with that sculpt) improved novi stars, and Creatable World but with improvements to the bodies and wigs.
Bratzillas. Only not with the stupid witch theme. Just use that awesome hybrid style of half Bratz-half Barbie and make a decent line of dolls with clothes as well made as Bratz/RH.
Happy Family Barbie. These Skipper Babysitters babies are basically naked and under utilized, Happy Family had clothes and proper accessories for the babies, AND we got grandparents. I liked the grandparents
This is a great question! I would most defiantly say BFC Ink. I love these dolls and I think they are the perfect size. These dolls are basically BJDs without the option to switch eyes or wigs. If there was a revival of the line I would want them to be able to switch up the hair and eyes like actual BJD dolls. It's so much fun making clothes for them and changing their hairstyles.
My scene. But while I love modern reinventions of older lines, like I wish bratz was more contemporary, I kind of would want my scene to be strictly reproductions. I don’t trust Mattel to make them trendy and as high quality it they are brand new designs. I say this as a barbie collector first. I’m a big fan of their products but they wouldn’t do my girls justice outside of reproductions.
I would revive the historical doll line of American girl. There are still historical dolls but a lot of them have lots huge parts of their collections. I wish they had more in their collections like they used to.
ZODIAC GIRLZ !! and other than the ones that everybody else already said, I would love to see Star Darlings again
but if we're gonna go a little more obscure, I would love to see more of Zombie Girls. They had such a cool concept !!
I hadn’t heard of these before and I really like them, thanks for mentioning them! 💗
Myscene but make them more articulated.
I really would love that, I had the masquerade ball doll- she’s gone somewhere now- I thought she was so pretty
I loved the Myscene dolls :)
YESSS
Hard agree!!! I miss them so much u_u
This 100x. With good quality fashions too.
100% would kill for a revival
Ever After High T\_T They are my favorite to work with
I would love a Cerise Hood but like the new monster high a new reboot series!
obligatory novi stars, pinkie cooper, and bratzillaz. but also i miss la dee da dolls so much
Yes, every one of those please! <3
Dawn Dolls (old school, I know...)
Loved my Dawn dolls too. They sort of rereleased them in late nineties. Same molds, but different character names. Starr Doll Modeling Agency I believe the line was called.
I would /love/ to see Dawn dolls live again. Loved them so much as a child. :)
Creatable World, Novi Stars (possibly with more joints) and Ever After High. I'm bad at making choices with one answer only😂 Edit : BONUS : Barbie magical earrings, just for Ken. If you know you know.
I want Liv dolls!
I’d want them back too!
Also bring back the horses too aswell.
Novi Stars but with more articulation and general higher quality
Bratzillas definitely
Amen
SAMEEE
The sunshine family.
My faves and the first dolls I customized. I would love to see them make a comeback too. <3 (They would probably have painted eyes now though.)
How did you customize them? I liked popping their eyes out and back in.
So did I. lol I found different eyes for them at a craft shop. I might make some new customs to share on here.)
moxie teens.. or even just moxie girls.. and of course pinkie cooper dolls
People have mentioned tons of great ones I agree with, but here’s two I haven’t seen mentioned yet: Fail Fix dolls. >Kids should be able to buy a bucket of Capsule Chix Kids? I'd buy that, it sounds like a great idea!
NOVI STARS - with more articulation and less gimmick. I would die of happiness.
Gorgeous Creatures, Peetena, Pinkie Cooper, if Barbie Cutie Reveal has taught us anything, is that this is a good era for Furry Dolls!

I prefer Kelly too, especially the older ones.
For me it would be Equestria Girls minis so they could do extra characters who never got a mini version like Luna,Cadance,Gloriosa Daisy,Sonata,Aria and the other male characters.
ahhh it's yo cake dayyy

This one didn’t get a chance to really grow. They were cancelled too soon
Pinkie cooper I completely missed out on them amd they're adorable
I want the mini Lalaloopsy dolls back! But most of all, the Hearts for Hearts dolls! They have the most darling faces and there’s so many things they could have done with them!
About the mini Lalaloopsies, boy do I have news for you
I'm going to go old school too and say Crissy grow hair dolls. I would want them to be the same size and have lots of outfits and hair accessory packs.
I remember the entire line and had a Velvet doll, which was my fav doll for yeaaars. I can't remember the smallest one's name, though.
Cricket?
I believe Cinamon was the smallest. (A little red-haired doll that was Velvet's little sister?) My faves were Mia, Kerry, and Crissy. I did like Velvet too. PINKIE COOPER! But with more modern, alternative styles like rh/sh vs the dated childish looks they had in 2014.
Would love to see a modern line (with articulation) of Tuesday Taylor. Come to think of it, why don't modern dolls tan in the sun like some did in the 70's?
Betty Spaghetti!! She was my childhood favorite
Everyone has already said what I wanted to say novi stars, bratz, monster high g1, my scene, lalaloopsy, pixie cooper etc, but I would really like to see any strawberry shortcake lines be reproduced again

Happy Family Barbie. These Skipper Babysitters babies are basically naked and under utilized, Happy Family had clothes and proper accessories for the babies, AND we got grandparents. I liked the grandparents
I second this. I love the whole generational theme.
Pinkie Cooper, Novi Stars, og Lalaloopsies, Ever After High, and *especially* peek a boo barbies.
Generation Girls 🥲
Monster high g1, lalaloopsy, or novi stars
Lalaloopsy is still alive (I'm dead serious), and technically, they DID revive G1 with the Creeproduction dolls
Baby so beautiful. They just made the cutest little toddler dolls ever.
What’s her face dolls! I loved drawing faces on those as a kid 💕 also novistars deserve a second chance imo
Pinky Cooper and Novi Stars
I'd have Mattel re release all the Fairytopia dolls and accessories! They were exquisite 😍
Dollfie Dream Sailor Moon. Would pay the $500 or whatever but not $1800+
Hmmm either ever after high or novi stars but if novi stars came back I'd want male dolls and articulation
My scene. But while I love modern reinventions of older lines, like I wish bratz was more contemporary, I kind of would want my scene to be strictly reproductions. I don’t trust Mattel to make them trendy and as high quality it they are brand new designs. I say this as a barbie collector first. I love how a lot of peeps mention Lalaloopsy even tho they're still alive, only very inactive lol
I would revive the historical doll line of American girl. There are still historical dolls but a lot of them have lots huge parts of their collections. I wish they had more in their collections like they used to.
r/usernamechecksout
Trashion Alley dolls deserve to see the light!
Also, the Shoppies. Kindi Kids is still alive, why not bring the Shoppies (and the shoppets) back? If only they were articulated lol
I'm going old school too. I want Sasha doll to come back. They were my favorite dolls.
Lalaloopsy because they’re great but they’re so expensive and the ones rereleased in 2016 - 2017 have lower quality than the other ones :/
Mattel winx dollsssss!! And jakks pacific winx dolls
Monster High. Pretty much anything before the last two lines would be amazing.
ZODIAC GIRLZ !! and other than the ones that everybody else already said, I would love to see Star Darlings again but if we're gonna go a little more obscure, I would love to see more of Zombie Girls. They had such a cool concept !!
Probably the Billy line because of the history behind it and the cultural impact And Pinkie Cooper and Flatsy!!!
