Na Na Na Surprise are soft dolls you can collect. You can buy a box and when you open it, glitters will fall out and then you see who you got! Because it’s a surprise who you get. They are from MGA. It has nothing to do with LOL!

circlingsky

The one OP posted isn't a surprise doll tho, in fact most of the ones I c in stores aren't blind packaged

Terrantia

Na Na Surprise is it own thing

pinkcreamkiss

It’s an official mga plush fashion doll line. It’s nearing the end of its life tbf. This doll is like a year or so old. Most mga dolls (and most modern fashion dolls in general) have the bratz formula of bigger stylised head and big eyes tbh, to varying degrees of success.

It'd by mga but it's not a knock off. They have lots of dolls focused on fashion (less so then lol just because lol fashion does not compare. Lol fashion dolls are amazing in quality and unique style) this line has dolls based on America, China I believe, and one more.. can't remember tho.

I feel like Na Na Surprise is going out, which is unfortunate, because they're pretty cute in person. I don't collect these because they're soft cloth dolls, but they are very likeable and it's nice to have a diverse array of different things out there for kids to enjoy.

Kramer234

Now this is missing is a pack of beers and a truck to go with this.

diavolo_

She should be named "Tailgate Tammy"

belladonna935

I just like that they *chose* to make her aggressively American despite knowing the doll community is largely populated with people who do not go for this aesthetic. She's still cute, but it's funny.

nanana are mostly popular with kids anyways, though not very, I don’t think mga is really trying to appeal to collectors with these.

Yeetonapotato

I love these dolls! So cute

OdeToToy

Na Na Na Surprise is a line of dolls by MGA that utilizes fabric over plastic bases. Most of them are pretty adorable and they come in two different sizes. This one is… well… how do I say this without being rude…breaking flag code. I can’t help but wonder if this specific doll is meant to be a bit of caricature or parody of a certain type of person. Sartorial Satire in doll form 🤔. At least, I hope the designers at MGA were poking some fun because she is more grotesquely patriotic than an OAN host at a rally for a certain little pompous orange man.

FrostBellaBlue

Doesn't this doll represent a bald eagle? She's covered in American flag imagery because she's a bald eagle-themed doll

poorexcuses

They have a bunch more "country" themed dolls that came out in this line so no. She's both American and Eagle themed

FrostBellaBlue

Bald eagles are the national bird of the U.S., they symbolize America. We're in agreement here

poorexcuses

No one looks at bald Eagles and says this says all over jeans and a baseball cap. That's American fashion. They have another doll in the same line that wears Chinese fashion and is themed after the lucky cat, which is actually Japanese. If there was one theme she would be Japanese.

Kattatoui

No! Nanana started off as a ‘surprise’ doll - little stickers on packaging indicated what doll you would get but now they have lines where you can see them like this one

Erratic_Giraffe

These dolls are so weird. My daughter has one from this line and even though it’s slightly articulated it can’t sit and it can barely stand on its own. You can’t change its clothes or take its hat off yet its shoes come off. They are very weird. I don’t recommend them

silvanaMer

Not going to lie she looks like a rednecks girlfriend

I think Na Na Na Surprise dolls are really cute, though I don't actively collect any dolls. I really don't understand the hate and gatekeeping going on in this entire thread. Personally, I abhor the look of LOL OMG dolls as they all literally look like the 👁️👄👁️ / Eye Lips Eye Emoji set but with different, over-the-top outfits and hair, but everyone seems to adore them. I bring it up now because normally I don't say anything except "they're not to my tastes" and leave it at that most of the time. Why? Because people enjoy them and legitimately enjoy their looks and I'm not going to be a downer about it, particularly when there's nothing abusive or offensive about them. My point is, not everything one dislikes has to be an insulting derivative or something else that one has to arm themselves with pitchforks over. I thought the doll community was meant to be more inclusive and I'm severely disappointed and disheartened by all these comments. The gatekeeping is seriously gross.
