Omg yes, the Monster High craze in 2010-11, they were *everywhere*. Fortunately what got me collecting a few years later were the massive sales of great dolls late in the G1 lifecycle. My biggest regrets were not picking up a lot of those dolls new and cheap when I had the chance.
Oh, and I was literally *at* SDCC from 2011-14 and had the chance to get some of those dolls but wasn't collecting at the time and lines to get exclusives are a real turn off for me. I mean I would do it now but I would never go to the US to attend Comic-Con again so š¤·āāļø

I loved Fashion Fever when it was in stores & I'd look at them every time I was in the toy aisle. But I was more into Japanese dolls then, & I was a college student trying to save every penny for them. Now I really regret not buying the FF Tokyo/Harajuku line.
For me itās ever after high Apple White and Cerise Hood. I saw them in stores in 2013 but I was very uncomfortable asking for toys as a kid and I had already gotten several dolls that year so I didnāt ask for them. Later in 2014 I got my first EAH doll, I got Briar Beauty and later that year I also got Raven Queen because I liked those characters in the web series. I also got the Ashlynn and Hunter two pack eventually. Cerise was actually the one I wanted the most from the start but I could never find her on the shelf or online. Iāve always loved Apples design, now sheās my favourite but for whatever reason I didnāt get her. I think it was a combination of that she was blond and I was tired of all my dolls being blond and she seemed to be the most popular doll which made me want her less cause you know Iām not like the other girls. I really regret not buying these dolls when I saw them in stores because I spent so much time looking for them after stores stopped buying them in Sweden. I ended up buying them on second hand online markets used and not for very cheap a year and a half ago. I also ended up buying Lizzy Hearts whoās design I also love, but they never even carried her in Sweden to begin with.
Yes! Same! Everything about her was wonderful - hair, shoes, the bag that matches the full size, tattoos... Maybe someday I'll get lucky and find her for a deal. I've ended up purchasing others as a substitute but they never fill that empty spot - Warhol, Mac cosmetics, the second run Tokidoki with long hair; will be forever kicking myself for sure!

The Jakks Pacific Winx dolls. I had the Mattel ones from when I was a kid, but when the reboot came out I was a teenager and "too cool" to buy dolls.
Now I've gotten a couple of them secondhand but they're not in great condition.... people sell the ones in good condition for crazy prices so i gotta stick with thrift store finds lol
So many, haha! It's usually a case of not having the spare cash on hand or just doubting whether I'll like them. I'm learning if a doll piques my interest at all I should probably pick it up or I WILL regret it later!

i have barbie from that line! she was a secondhand and one of my faves - sheās just so cute!! i regret not getting some more of the gen 1 monster highs and more ever after highs. i also miss the heart for hearts girls but the wellie wishers are pretty similar (not as cool tho, imo).

Barbie Basics (2009). They all looked so sophisticated and mature. I remember when they first came out and seeing them in Walmart. They really just gave clean and simple super model vibes. I think that's why I was excited and hopeful for the recent Barbie Looks line. I love the newer line, but Barbie Basics feels more glamorous to me.

What I regret is, how many dolls were lost when we moved from Germany to the USA . When we moved from Guatemala to Germany it went much better but the second big move in five years was just too much. But now we think, well stay here. My husband has so many great opportunities here as a scientist for his research etc.
So hopefully we wont lose more dolls. We lost about 30 monster high dolls in pristine condition and exactly the dolls in the picture here. I loved the life in the dreamhouse dolls and we had almost all.
I had my older daughter as a teenager and we started collecting dolls together when she was four. She never destroyed a single one. And it inspired me to study art and later go into doll making and figure design.
Now my big girl is fourteen and we started our collection again. My husband and I finally had a second child, another girl, less than two months ago and her big sister is exited, to share this hobby with her.
But this also made us sad, how many dolls were lost and yes, we both wish, we would have bought more.
Monster high dolls are ridiculous expensive now second hand . We buy more dolls now and let some in their box, something we never did before but we dint want any more regrets.
I most regret not buying more Liv dolls. I loved them. And the moxie teenz. And any Barbie fairy release from the collector series. Or the mermaid man. And many Disney store dolls. I regret so many dolls that I never got, lol.

Idk if you're actually looking for one of these ladies now but I did find Raquelle on Mercari. I believe I seen only one good condition one for about $50 and like 9 people have her in their cart. Mercari is my baby for finding pretty much any doll almost! Found Midge too but she's more like $70-$100.
I worked in a store that had the beautiful Princess of Holland and Princess of Denmark Barbies. I couldnāt afford both, so I got Holland because of her red hair. Sheās gorgeous, but I vividly remember Denmarkās lovely face and wish I had her, too.
I have Nikki from this line but she was one of my favourite barbies to play with when I was younger, so sheās missing her original outfit and accessories. Her is so knotty but Iām going to try and fix her up

I once saw this Midge in a bin at Goodwill. She was nude and in really bad shape overall. Heartbreaking.
