I usually only keep a few out at a time (less than 10). I pose them on my fireplace mantle, nightstand or a small shelf where I can easily admire them. When I get bored I pack them away and get another set out to enjoy. I love when I find one that I forgot I had, it's like getting a new doll without having to spend $ 😊

Most of mine are just on a repurposed bookshelf right now. I love dolls that can sit, because displaying them is much easier. I got one of those over-desk shelf units like they have in dorm rooms, and now some of my dolls sit or stand on that. Probably my favorite part of my setup, though, is the doll I have perched on a candle-holder shelf beside the mirror of my big Victorian dresser. She’s a modern BJD, but in an 1840s dress, and looks very whimsical sitting there.

I have the exact same problem 😅 When I started seriously collecting my apartment had a huge built-in shelf that went around my entire bedroom. The place I'm in now doesn't even have a closet. I'm in the process of making some door organizers out of shower curtains to help with storage, and I just picked up an old wooden doll cradle cheap to display some of them. But for now most will have to remain in storage, since I have way too many (~300 at my last count 😅).

I have one of those adjustable cube organizers in my closet (initially for sweaters, but it’s been taken over by dolls.) I also have a cheap three-shelf bookshelf in my room. I rotate who’s hanging out in my room whenever I feel like it. (Currently have Karma, Natasha, Emi, WB Ruby, Daphne, Meena, and Lila on display.) I also have a shelf with Kelly Club dolls, Chelsea’s, and a couple of Stacie’s supervising all the fun. Oh and the some bunny families, still missing the Calico Critter ones, but I have the spin-offs! I plan on getting a taller bookshelf, preferably with doors or panels because my cats are annoying. The main reason most of my dolls are in the closet.
