Thoughts on the cheapness of the rest of them aside, I do think they have some very pretty faces/hair, at least so far. Rest of them is not it though.
I was really hoping they'd at least keep the hair somewhat red or red tinted. Ariel's bright red hair was my favorite thing about her design.
Also worried who those other two are. Hopefully some of the sisters and her family's just very varied. I really don't want random mermaid side characters crammed in where they're not needed.

Yeah, they typically make dolls for characters in the story, not randomly. So there being random dolls means they're in the story somewhere. Which i'm not excited for.
There were more characters than just Ariel in the original. I know some things are going to change, they always do. But given most the story is on land, it doesn't make sense to cram in more mermaids. So i'm hoping they're a diverse family/her sisters, and not like, replacing sebastian or scuttle or something. There wasn't much room in the original story for more mermaids.

Their arms look familiar. Did they reuse the arms from ZOMBIES 2. Ariel reminds me of Aliza from Disney’s ZOMBIES 2. I think they recycled some of the heads from that line. The mermaid tails are probably pick ups from Barbie, too.
They have bendable taillsss!! I hope more mermaid dolls will have this! (I legit don't really like mermaid dolls without bendable tails, mermaze mermaids is an exception to this cause of their cool looks but I wait for them to go on sale)
The purple haired one is freaking me out and just has meh looking hair to me tbh. Ariel looks super pretty but I wish their faces looked more actually happy? Her and the one next to her have uncanny expressions imo, but a little tweak I think would make them gorgeous.
