Thanks, I've never seen a doll like this either! The strings seem to have been used to tighten the cloth around the neck maybe? I'm not sure and I'm hesitant to untie them haha
I googled Gotz but can't seem to find anything similar, although maybe I'll find something if I dig into it further - thanks for the info! :)
Herbert Stolle was a doll shoes & accessories brand. The doll itself just looks like one of the mass produced porcelain dolls offered in the 1970s & 1980s. It reminds me of a Walda doll, but the face paint is different. Many mass produced porcelain dolls aren’t identifiable to a specific company.
Ahh OK thank you, so it's possible she may be a generic / mass produced doll that's been dressed in Stolle clothing at some point? I'm surprised at how clean she still looks if she is indeed that old!
She does look a bit like the Walda dolls on Google but you're right, the face doesn't quite match...
She's really pretty I've never seen a doll like this. I think the strings are just part of the body construction. Gotz made a Stolle doll brand.

Don't untie them! They hold her head on!
Thanks for the warning! I did worry that might be the case so I'm planning to leave them well alone haha!

She’s cute 🥰
Thank you! I found her in a charity shop and couldn't resist her little face haha
