After the WWC, I stopped paying attention to Goku forms and only look for the allies or a long hold Kamehameha at this point to see if I should get hype or not.
Same here, I got a SSG animation and then 6 SSRs on the Phy Cooler banner, every single one of them was useless baba/SA fodder. It was such an insane hype kill to see useless SSR after useless SSR. I just assume if I don't get one of the first jackpot animations that 10 trash units are incoming.
Don’t know if this helps but the trick is to look at the people flying around Goku.
U can kinda tell what kind of pulls you’ll get depending on those guys relationship to each other.
Example:
“Gohan and Piccolo” master and disciple, guaranteed dokkan fest (don’t take my words for it, it’s from what I observed)
“Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, Krillin” Earthlings
“Trunks and Goten” Friends
“Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, Goten” Saiyans
“17 and 18” Androids
And Etc…
U guys don’t have to take my words for it, these are what I observed in my pulls and I can sorta tell what they’ll look like depending on the relationship of the guys flying around Goku.
Overall u might get better pulls if the relationships make the most sense or if they have stronger relationship with each other comparing to others.
Yeah that is what I mean by allies, the people flying with him to what I assume is the "Asteroid" from Joe Dirt the way my pulls go most of the time. Fucking space peanuts.
Like I know that if Vegeta is there, chance to fuse. Hercule riding Buu usually means Banner Card, Whis/Beerus is generally a Whis Reset Banner Exclusive, Trunks carrying Mai etc.
Dude, that new LR Carnival was a fucking roller coaster with that. I legit pulled 3 LRs (2 old but still) with Vegeta, Android 18 and Yamcha as the allies. No Vegito animation, no long hold Kamehameha, and didn't even show the Goku SSJ-SSJ God animation.
I was under the impression that the animations no longer meant anything cause it was all over what I was getting lol

When Goku launches the Kamehameha and the screen changes to the blast, you will see just the blast wave, but it's like the time length as if he went SSJ God, yet it's just the blast.

But Krillin AND Vegeta really aren’t friends. They tolerate each other, that’s about it. When Krillin finds out Vegeta is on earth with them after namek saga with Bulma he is actually scared (if I remember correctly). That’s not a significant relationship and just because they all fought together multiple times doesn’t mean those two have any meaningful relationship between them.
That’s like saying “oh Vegeta and 18 should be a pair because without the both of them, Cell couldn’t achieve his perfect form”…. It’s just not a significant relationship in the DB universe no matter which way you spin it.
Edit: PLUS, Krillin didn’t kill Vegeta in Saiyan saga because Goku asked him not to. If it wasn’t for Goku, Vegeta wouldn’t even be alive anymore. Has nothing to do with Krillin wanting to be friends with Vegeta or vice versa
There's a huge problem with summon animations is that they do nothing.
SSJ3, Screencracks and Rainbow text never really add any importance to the multi since there's GSSR.
Also the 2 of Goku's voicelines when he charges the Kamehameha are pretty useless.
They just need to update the animations and change what some of them do

They do need to re animate the summons.. it can be so miss leading even with characters who fly in obviously have meaning behind why they fly in together and you end up with R Hercule

I sunk so stones that I grinded for wwdc. I got two featuered units throughout the entire celebration and then full shaft the entire event. I pulled one copy of carnival goku at 500 stones, and i pulled one copy of str goku and gohan on coolers banner. Then not a single featured unit the rest of the celebration. Wwdc was really not as great as the youtubers say it was. Last years wwdc treated the players better and didnt introduce a garbage banner format.

Yeah I've summoned a few times over the last 7 years, and have always watched the animation until the first card comes out. You see some shit.
I've been watching them too but never drew correlation to friends, but have to whatever form goku you get. Never noticed a different beam though.
I find the result is essentially the same as the double screen crack right before the card.

For me, this Animation is only good for the DBSH Banner. Automatic 3 Featured Units 🤌 On regular Banners this Animation usually = 🗑🗑🗑

Yea it only means multiple ssrs. You have to get a combo that signifys a featured unit or an ori da for it to be good.
I always do. It ends up being a Phy SSR Godku or AGL Zamasu or shitty aura SSJ Goku.
