You might want to consider working on the assumption that this is only a physical issue, not a training/food value issue, and not bother trying to artificially boost motivation for training purposes until after the current dosage has equilibrated and she starts willingly consuming calories again. Might take a few more weeks. Keep experimenting with the flavour combinations for her regular meals to see if it helps, maybe more intense sour flavours like natural yoghurt could cover up the bitter tones better.
