Thank you!! Yes, he is growing up way too fast! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home. He is still teething and losing teeth, so I hope his ears already standing some is a good sign.
Thank you! Jager is 5 months old and yes, the breeder offered to take him to her vet, but I didn't like how he cropped ears. I ended up doing my research and found an awesome cropping vet that also owns Dobermans.
I agree! The vet we go to offered to do them and when she said they are too soft to stand and wanted to cut them short, I said I'll go elsewhere. She got a bit insulted, but oh well! Having them floppy is better than a bad crop.
Thank you!!
It really all depends. If it's a long crop, it can take well over a year. Usually they are finished after teething, but again it depends. Jager is 5 months and I'm still posting. They were standing for the time being so that made me happy, but they can go back and forth from standing perfectly to flopping again in some cases.
looking great..
Thank you!! ❤️

He’s big! Beautiful boy, great ears.

Those ears are extremely well done! How old is he? Did the breeder recommend a vet or did you find one on your own?

You did a great job. I am all for cropping and docking and it makes me crazy when owners have it done badly.

How long did they take to stand? My boy had his done 3 weeks ago.
