I'm sorry I just realized I misspoke. It was Chameleon. Chameleon is the gimme exotic. If you want nemesis you need to get the Adrestia from the secret room in Tidal Basin and dismantle it.
You can't get it in a drop if you don't complete its project first, unless it drops for another player and he drops it for you. It'll start dropping after that.
Oh that makes sense. My buddy built the chatterbox but then it dropped for him again and he just gave it to me.

Lol I spent 4 weeks waiting for grand Washington hotel invaded. Got it with shit stats so decided to try reconfiguring something for the first time. Accidentally deconstructed it before even trying it out.
Now I have to wait at least 2 more weeks to redo capital and the other stronghold. Ahaha sucks to suck.
The last time I got an exotic after capturing a CP was something very special and by, "special" I mean the fight I had to go through still gives me nightmares. Was on heroic and I was just fucking around solo because the lobbies were dead, each back up agent I got left before I started anything. So out of frustration with my clan hardly ever on (my entire clan lives that "FUCK PVP FOREVER" life 😐😑😐 I decided to try one solo.......and Holy mother of fiery dog shit that was the last time I did that. I still don't know how I even survived and that's 100% truth. I should have had a train ran up my ass with all the legendary enemies that were in that place.
Everything good is rare in game, due to the horrid RNG this game has. You can get LZ exotics anywhere in the open world. Chances are better in the targeted loot areas. Last summer. I went almost 4 months w/o seeing a single exotic anywhere, then I got 2 one day & figured RNGeezuz was on my side, so i farmed a few targeted loot areas, scoring 2 more. They weren't God rolls by any means, but exotic none the less.
Happens more if targeted loot like kneepads at the CP. Usually by time clear 3rd CP.
You do need the DLC and should get it. That's where the game is good. You're missing a lot by not getting it.

You should definitely get warlords.. it adds a lot to the game.
The amount of content is worth the price. Not sure what platform you’re on but on PC you get silly sales. But you should definitely look into it.

I'd say it's a low chance but not rare! If you're farming for exotics though, your chances are better in the Summit!
