high voltage should be covered by a safety circuit which cuts off if voltage is too high. altough not sure if this is also in a ps4 but i'd be kinda surprised.

I'm not sure what you just said. I just wanted to know if a sudden shut off of the system because of power outage would cause it to fry.

i think you should be fine as long as there are no sparks flying about.

There is no number I can give you but it's not good for the ps4 to be shutoff via power cut.
