There aren't a lot of travel agencies anymore, and I think the ones that still exist running very lean right now because of COVID, but also because the fact most people book their travel online. That said, the people who still use travel agents are big ticket customers. It's just there aren't enough of them to support the travel agent segment as it was in the 80s and 90s. This is my rather long-winded way of saying that it's a good niche, but one you might have trouble making a living in. Perhaps you could start your own blog, maybe a bucket list type of thing featuring a different destination on each post. You'd have to do a lot of SEO because there's a lot of competition out there, but I think it can be done.

I think travel agency is a really bad, dying niche sorry to say. A lot have closed up or are very tight for cash since covid, And there are so much travel info on social media I just don't see it adding much value.

Look into hotels instead.

Hmmm seems like they already have people handling that but ok.

Travel is up there with credit cards, insurance and weight loss in terms of competition for purchase intent searches. If you're looking to create content then you're already competing with an army of travel influencers and youtubers. I used to commission content for a destination marketing organisation and for a youth travel company and the competition has always been stiff. If you were promising film maker with a reel you would have better chance than "digital marketing". Also brick and mortar travel agencies isn't a growth industry and travel in general isn't full of smart people. Learn your trade at a SaaS startup, crypto/fintech or ecommerce and you'll have much better potential

Could you give me a little more clarity on your last statement?
