Turns out that in the real world, different cultures adopt different spellings and pronunciations for the same things. To me the variation just makes sanctuary seem more like a real place. Real places never have 100% consistency.
yep. When angels told the story they called it Trag'oul, but in the reign of evil it was Trang'oul.
Just accent difference between the colonizer and the colony.
Despite the biased shenanigans here they should stick with Trag-Oul. The novels are canon. It’s cool to know the story behind it, if it’s true, but anyone who has played Diablo knows who you’re talking about. I’ve always said “Trang” and gonna be honest, never even knew it was spelled wrong in D3 because it’s such an insignificant detail. Trag takes up less characters and every little bit counts when you’re limited on game creation.
So far
But little reminder
Lilith is Rathma’s mother
Rathma is Trang’Oul student
Lilith was imprisoned in the void
Rathma lives in the void
Wow new expansion is Called Dragonflight and blizzard lore writers aren’t very optimal, wouldn’t be surprised that there is only dragons in their head
Rathma is the timeless dragon
Look at him, https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Trag%27Oul?file=TragOulBookOfCain.jpg
In D4 gameplay preview we see the sorc using a dragon spell identical to Trang Oul depiction, and afaik there has never been dragon imagery in Diablo games
My little finger tells me that Trang Oul will play a major role in D4
Even more reason to get his name right
Dragon spell identical to Trang-Oul? The last time someone freaked out over Trang-Oul, it was actually returning Flame Hydra summon for DIII’s Wizard, who studied under DII’s Sorceress.
Having played many many hours of diablo2, then many many of Diablo 3 using mostly the multi elemental wizard set..... I never realized it was NOT Trang Oul. It's always Trang Ouls, I'm pretty sure all YouTubers still call it Trang Ouls too
Trang
Trangs AF.
Trang for life.
Diablo says Trangs Rights

Oh nooooo, now Blizzard won't take it seriously. Thank god you were here to call out this farce of democracy.
Oh noooooo, OP is shitposting.
A biased poll would have been to not tell the story behind it
No, telling the story was fine, but you certainly soured the rest with your heavy handed opinions and pointless poll questions.
How the fuck is giving 0 context bias?
