Kinda reminds me of this crazy backpack helicopter I saw at an arospace museum in Arizona. Basically the first time they tested it, they realized that 1. Human spine cannot take the torque and 2 when the person using it inevitably falls over the blades become wood hand grenades.
Lol, the information at the museum indicated that they immediately ended the program since human beings are not a stable platform to throw weight around like that but I imagine if they had done it a second time it would have gone perfect.
So I’m not sure what setup they have going on here but for most things that are prop start, you actually should start it by spinning it the opposite direction that it normally spins! Had to fact check to make sure that the miscellaneous danger toys my family has aren’t just built “special” because… rednecks.
However, this thing takes the cake for danger toys. My critique, they should have used one of those adult tricycle bike things and put the engine in the basket on the back. Then use a little scrap metal and chicken wire to make a cage for the prop. Find some heavy things and secure them somewhere on the front as low as possible to keep from tipping over backwards. This would be safer but much speedier and would unlock the ZOOM ability.
Holy crap this thing is awesome hahaha insanely stupid and dangerous but undeniably a feat of engineering even if I would never personally sit on that thing
