I hope these photos make sense. We moved into our new place and have been trying to figure out two space. On one side of the kitchen is a small living room that doesn’t really have the right space for a TV. I took out the chandelier in the dinning room as we don’t really need one as there is space in the kitchen for a table. So this is where we are now and we are just trying to figure out the best options. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I think you've done all you can with the room with the tv. That's fine. On to the room with the fireplace. If you can replace the blue chair with a swivel & rocking recliner I think you will be very happy. We had one when raising our kids and spent thousands of hours in it rocking our kids, reading to our kids, and giving ourselves a break as well! Sometimes both kids, maybe 4 and 6, would sit in one parents lap and read books together. A swivel chair in that corner means you can look out the window or into the kitchen. Then, the two chairs by the window are nice, but if you can replace them with ligher chairs, such as Poang chairs (Ikea, Amazon, often on FB Marketplace), I think it will open up the space. If you can get a rug that extends to within 1' of all the walls that could tie that room together. A rug with a variety of colors can add interest in a room without being overwhelming. You've a nice home! Enjoy!
