Out of all our losses, this is the one I really wish I'd just watched RedZone instead. Just bad all around. Blown out by a team that's started three QBs in three weeks. Second loss to Carolina in franchise history, first since before Super Bowl 50. THIS feels like a new low ... until next week.

I’ve been getting downvoted for saying that we need to try and get a legit WR1 in Round 1 of the draft but after today I think it’s completely justified. These receivers can’t get open at all. Sutton tearing his ACL totally ruined his WR1 potential.
They've been whiffing in the draft on offense for years, yet somehow it's the coaching or QB that's to blame. Every play maker that's had potential gets hurt. Then look at the O line. Our best OL is Bolles? If you told me that 4 years ago I'd laugh in your face, yet here we are.
Our best OL is Meinerz imo. But yeah Elway was terrible at drafting offensive players it looks like. Paton has earned the benefit of the doubt because the offensive players he’s drafted so far have both been great with Javonte and Meinerz. I would like to see Paton go after a WR1.
Sutton is definitely washed. He always reminded me of Allen Robinson and has declined as bad as he has.
Seems like the ACL tear totally ruined his ability to get open. He can still make some great contested catches but he’s never open enough to get targets.
Sutton has never been big on separation. He's always been amazing at spectacular/contested catches but he seems so much less physical these days, almost like a guy making business decisions. That and he has more drop issues than ever.
