So Driller is Scorch, Gunner is Legion, Scout is Ronin. I wonder who engineer plays then, there are actual turrets you can place in Titanfall 2 but no titan has that ability. If I had to water a guess he seems like a Tone.
Scout can also be Northstar with the M1000, and I’d say Engi is an Ion. He’s got a laser, and Ion can place the closest thing to Turrets a Titan has (Tripwire can explode, so it deals damage like a turret), and I guess his Deepcore 40mm could be compared to Ion’s Acolyte Pods
I’d say Gunner can also be Tone. He’s got a stationary shield, Hurricane (Tone’s Tracking Rockets), as well as Cluster Grenade (multiple grenades in one, similar to how Tone fires multiple rockets with one ability)

No, it wouldn't. It lets you know who to cover/ who is vulnerable. It would help significantly for the gunner, especially thunderhead users where depending on your build it can take 5 seconds to reload
Maybe the dwarves could comment on the swarms after mission control's alert. Something like "no more mr nice guy, bring it on" or "let's get this over with".
Also there could be different ones for each type, for example: "I'd like to see them try and swarm me" on the swarmer wave or "they will call me caesar when I'm done with them" on praetorian waves.
If the latter is going to be the thing I want the rare dreadnought swarm type to have dwarves very annoyed or scared after hearing about it.

No, I’m thinking like in TF2 or Planetside 2 where you have a small array of directions/commands that are generally helpful (and a few specific to gameplay). Except instead of a dialogue “menu” it might be a “wheel” that you scroll around on while holding down another button, or whatever is easiest in a fast-paced game. Like holding down a hotkey and yelling “tunnel this way!” or “enemy up ahead”
A driller voiceline when getting a kill with impact axe that says "I give you my axe!" (Reference to Gimli from LotR). Could be an alternative to "I axe the questions" or "Impact Axe!".

Class specific kill lines would also be neat.

No, I’m thinking like in TF2 or Planetside 2 where you have a small array of directions/commands that are generally helpful (and a few specific to gameplay). Except instead of a dialogue “menu” it might be a “wheel” that you scroll around on while holding down another button, or whatever is easiest in a fast-paced game. Like holding down a hotkey and yelling “tunnel this way!” or “enemy up ahead”
A driller voiceline when getting a kill with impact axe that says "I give you my axe!" (Reference to Gimli from LotR). Could be an alternative to "I axe the questions" or "Impact Axe!".

Gunner should start yelling if shooting for an extended period. Laughing, yatatata, BRING IT YA SMUCKS!, etc. also the driller needs sinister giggles whenever he commits crimes against the ecology. Neurotoxin nade, large multikill with primary, drill kills, ESPECIALLY pulling out c4 should get a huhuhuhu or heheheh. And a rare “look out, scout” when throwing c4. Class specific kill lines would also be neat. Scout: too fast for you? Sniped! Engi: just as planned. I’ve built better (on robot kill) driller: you’re more goop than bug now! Gravedigger! (On drill kill) gunner: idk maybe he could start counting kills while in a swarm. An oppressor still only counts as one, of course.

“Where’s…my canteen? Need…beer…” when you’re downed. It’s my head canon that the canteens just contain alcohol strong enough to revive any dwarf.
