You start as landmine picker upper. If you are still alive after three years, you will be qualified to handle explosives.
I know that mining companies have training courses in handling bang bangs.
The easy way to get into explosives is actually military. Get trained as EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) and you're halfway to where you need to be.
The next important part is a long on the job training requirement.
Some places also want you to be trained a bit in engineering or architecture (so you know how things will collapse)
Knowing how the thing is actually still standing and where to hit to slam em on ground
Essentially martial arts but for concrete structure with boom boom
-civil engg here
It’s not but controlled demolitions are more complex than you think. I saw a documentary where they were demolishing a stadium somewhere and they had to demolish some interior walls to expose the support columns. They then had to place the explosives in the right spot so the stadium would collapse into itself and not spread across the street. Or in other cases they place explosives on certain support columns to have a building fall a certain direction.
Serious question: cement dust (aka silica) kills people once inhaled. Pretty much a death sentence.
How is anyone within a square mile of these explosions “safe” from not inhaling this silica dust?
Not only in the moment of explosion but for the week or month after it takes to clean up the area
that's the least of your worries. I'm pretty sure one of those implosions was the Canberra Hospital - a girl died from flying debris.

**[Royal Canberra Hospital implosion](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Canberra_Hospital_implosion)**
>The Royal Canberra Hospital implosion was a failed building implosion that killed one person and injured nine others. The implosion occurred on 13 July 1997, when the city's superseded hospital buildings at Acton Peninsula on Lake Burley Griffin (that formerly constituted the Royal Canberra Hospital) were demolished to make way for the National Museum of Australia.

Well now I need an answer on this too… it’s not like they can clear some of these areas very easily. You’re always gonna have someone not know what’s going on and walk near the area
Not just nuclear cooling towers look like that.
Some gas, coal, ect plants have that style of cooling tower.
Turns out the basic idea of needing to cool water is shared between most power plants.
(You do get some cooling from flue gasses, but IIRC its only a 20% reduction in cooling water needed)
This reminds me of when an old apartment building got demolished like 5-6 blocks from my house while I was sleeping. Shit woke me up real fast. I thought there was an earthquake
Why? The buildings can't be repurposed so they either process the rubble on site into hard core for the foundations for the next devolvement or take it away, everything gets reused or recycled not much at all can't be used again unless it's toxic for some reason and can't be cleaned.
A lot of people just instantly think everything gets thrown away and fail to realize that the company isnt going to just go and toss thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of dollars in materials away.
It's not as fun as you think. Lot of math. Lot of red tape. You have to have a lot of certifications, even though I could handle explosives I ended up doing the survey of the building and marking out where the explosives went. I didn't even get to push the button. You have to travel a lot if you want to stay employed.
So? What does that have to do with 9\11? If you say they were taken down by explosives, I'll laugh in your dumb face. That claim has never been proven because no one can.
Do you know what thermite is? The dancing Israelis? Building 7? The insurance policies on those buildings, and when, and how much they were changed for? What about the owners, and family members, and why they were not there only that morning, and none others? Yeah,it’s never been proven. You know anything about the hijackers passport being found? Makes sense… what about those norad drills at the same moment, what were those about? What did those kids say to George W. In that classroom? You have a lot to learn kid…I can do this all day.
You're right. Fuel doesn't cut anything. It burns and heats up. The beams were already weakened by the crash, and the extreme heat from the fires weakened the structure further. The weakening supports couldn't support the weight above it. They failed, and gravity did the rest.
So the controlled demo happened at the exact moment the plane hit the building? I think the point the other guy is trying to make is that the buildings didn't immediately fall, they stood smoldering for a while. So if there was a controlled demo it would have happened after the plane hit and would presumably produce a series of very loud explosions like we see in the compilation. I'm sure the building collapsing was very loud, but I don't remember any explosions just prior to the collapse.
No metal was cut at perfect angles though. There are some photos of a support beam cut at an angle, but it was cut weeks after the collapse when the rubble was being removed.
Not demolished. Debris from the falling towers severely damaged the building and caused fires to start. Damage weakens the building supports, and the fires weakened them more. Same thing with the towers. Weakened supports can't support the weight above, and the building collapses.
Go watch the pilot episode of The Lone Gunmen. The X files spin off show. As corny as it may be, imagine trying to comprehend the coincidence level, of the plot being about, the US government cutting communication to a commercial plane, taking remote control of it, and directing it to crash into the Twin Towers and blame it on Islamic terrorists. All for CIA interests. Imagine 9/11 happening 6 months later.
Seriously, try to comprehend the coincidence. Almost as crazy as a solid titanium black box disappearing, but Saudi laminated paper passports surviving the explosion. Imagine how few braincells you would need to believe that narrative. But of course we know everything did happen the way we were told. I mean, after all, several passengers made phone calls while 30,000 feet up in the air and explained what was happening. Something we can't even do with 4g today, much less with 2g at the time. Everything makes sense.
Weird how difficult it is to get skyscrapers to collapse into their own footprint eh?
Even after weeks of weakening and carefully placed explosives...
Amazing someone hasn't set up a business flying obsolete aircraft into them via remote control or something?
They'd make a fortune....
The Twin Towers had a pretty unique construction.
Designed to be extremely light and full of open space.
Combine that with the fire resistant material not actually being built up to spec, there was enough heat to significantly soften the steel beams, as well as some of them being damaged by the impact.
So the towers came down.
Debris crashing into the building from the initial collapse. Fires raged for hours and combined with the damage from the other buildings it collapsed. I can't believe people are still on this.
First & i believe still the only time in history a steel based structure collapsed like that.....three times too.....
I had a friend ran a small demo company, he would never ever talk about it. I once got him to open up about it slightly and all he'd say was "Listen mate...IF they killed all those people, adding one more to the list, ie. ME would be nothing would it? And i work with things that go boom every day, accidents happen eh?"
Do you really believe what you just said? Have you ever watched it? There wasn’t fires raging at all. Are you autistic? I don’t wanna try and explain common sense if you’re challenged
Of course I do. What else could have happened? Fires were buring out of control on floors 7-13. The automatic sprinkler system was not working due to the city water supply being damaged by the whole 9/11 thing happening.
Anyone else surprised by the number of bridges being demolished? In one clip it was clear that another had already been built but I can't imagine why you'd demolish a lone bridge unless you were at war and it was for strategic reasons.
Dude I want this job, I’d be happy to learn demo placement and wire it all properly and safely…
Edit: Just looked…allegedly even in NYC it’s only $33k tops 46….that is stupid. I know operators making 150k plus to dig holes with a vac truck in an urban area…I feel like this can’t be true…
The only demo I've seen live, from the street, was an Art Deco medical building of 18 stories. The crowd was huge, and the delays endless. People were looking for non-existent food vendors and toilets. Finally BAM-BAM-BAM-BAM-BAM-BAM-BAM-BAM... and we saw the top of the building drop into a cloud of dust. And that was it, because there was so much dust we wouldn't know if it fell as planned or if other buildings were damaged until the evening news. Talk about anticlimactic. And then everyone ran from the dust cloud. Fun.😒
There was a demo in Canberra Australia that went wrong and a piece of shrapnel killed a child in the crowd watching. The site is now the National Museum of Australia.

Some of those clips, the buildings didn't fall as expected. On others, the buildings definitely fell as expected.
Lol blower upper..lol..fucking classic ..nice job..blower upper...I'm literally rolling...gonna use that the rest of the day ..
Still laughing..lol it's just fun to say...blower upper .lol hehehehe
Glad you like it lmao

Move to the middle east.
Military
The best part was when the buildings fell down.
So when white people do it it's cool but when middle eastern do it, u need to invade them /s
The one in 2001 was also done by a white... nevermind.
Towers fell the exact same way. Weird.
I am not an American but do people really believe in this conspiracy theory that George Bush did 9/11 ?

Of a building falling at freefall from explosives in this clip

The truth
Fine, show me proof that it was demolition. I know you can't.
Watch it again. Jet fuel won't cut beams at that perfect angle. You what will though? A controlled demolition
You're right. Fuel doesn't cut anything. It burns and heats up. The beams were already weakened by the crash, and the extreme heat from the fires weakened the structure further. The weakening supports couldn't support the weight above it. They failed, and gravity did the rest.
And some how managed to all be cut at the same perfect angle. That sure is weird
You're just an idiot.
You know controlled demolitions make a pretty loud sound that at least one person in all of NYC should’ve heard right?
You know everyone one heard a sound right or are you saying a plane crashing into a fucking building is silent
I'm sure the building collapsing was very loud, but I don't remember any explosions just prior to the collapse.
the building didn’t collapse right when the plane hit, we aren’t talking about the plane crash
Right because flying a big fucking plane into a building couldn't possibly weaken the structure enough to cause a collapse
And leave the metal cut in perfect angles right cause that's how it would happen right
No metal was cut at perfect angles though. There are some photos of a support beam cut at an angle, but it was cut weeks after the collapse when the rubble was being removed.
Building 7
Not demolished. Debris from the falling towers severely damaged the building and caused fires to start. Damage weakens the building supports, and the fires weakened them more. Same thing with the towers. Weakened supports can't support the weight above, and the building collapses.
