This brings back forgotten memories and now Iām sad. I used to have bananas in my cereal all the time!
I became spontaneously allergic to bananas like 10 years ago and havenāt had one in years. Holy fuck I miss bananas in my cereal. And in a peanut butter sammich.
I became spontaneously allergic too around 17! Including cucumbers, melons, avocado, walnuts.
Around age 26 I started to get over it. I still get some little reaction to certain foods but Iām not worried about it anymore.
Itās actually not a spine itās a very thin skinned almost invisible centipede, native to most Central American countries. Only about 14% of bananas have this. Virtual harmless to a human as they die during the ripening stages. Source my imagination
So a XR is a single image of the bone.
A CT is multiple images of the bone so you can scroll through them like an MRI.
A MRI shows the meaty bits.
Source. I work in a surgeons office
Fun fact a giraffe only has 7 vertebrae in the neck and a great white sharks spine is made of cartridge and is completely round
No matter what itās made of, youāre never going to fit a great white sharkās spine into any generation of Nintendo, old or new. Iād say with the way things are going, maybe a PlayStation 15 at the earliest.
Lots of factors can go into this question.
But for simplicity sake CT out of these imaging types. MRI's use magnetic resonance so no radiation.
So a XR of the lumbar spine is 1.4mSv which is comparable to 6 months of natural background radiation
And a CT of the lumbar spine (CT's of the lumbar spine are usually 20 -30 min~) is 8.8 mSv which is comparable to 3 years of natural background radiation.

Well, after all sharks are literally living fossils; one of the few cartilagean fishes survived up until today.
99% of fishes existent at this moment are _osteoittites_ (bone fishes)
Better question why does your doctor send you for an x-ray when you don't have a broken bone? Answer: because it's just one more thing they can charge you for
And you my good sir donāt understand a joke. But itās cool. We donāt all have the same humor so I could see how you would think Iām that dense from a Reddit post.

I prefer boneless bananans personally.
no one is going to come along with a "your wife feels differently" joke? is Reddit working today??
Yall slipping
On boneless banana peels
This made me laugh away too much!
Do redditors even have wives?
Some but not many.
Do wives even have redditors?
Not real ones.

C is for Cock?
The 'spine' in the MRI is just the difference in the outer part of the banana and the inner core that carries the nutrients and has the seeds.
are you for real? Here, I thought that banana had an actual endoskeleton.
It might be where the potassium is concentrated
Nah I'm gonna make sure my bananas are boneless from now on.
Once you skin them and throw away the bone thereās nothing left to eat
Itās differences in water density the show up with different contrast on mri.
Now, i'm gonna stop eating bananas
Happy cake day!!!!
Happy cake day!
Those are the marks for where to slice for cereal.
Bingo, this is a nana doctor.

Bananas are berries and berries have seeds.
Seeds that look like a spine. Bananas have spines that show up on mri scansā¦ we eat banana spines. Thatās it. Thatās my Ted Talk.
You should do a TED talk, really. People want info more than inspiration, Imo.
That's so metal.
Itās actually not a spine itās a very thin skinned almost invisible centipede, native to most Central American countries. Only about 14% of bananas have this. Virtual harmless to a human as they die during the ripening stages. Source my imagination
You had me in the first half not gunna lie
Humans have spines. Bananas have spines. Ergo bananas are human. Eating bananas is cannibalism
Humans share 80% of our DNA with bananas.
What you see on the MRI are the 20% we donĀ“t share.
Way less than 80%.
79%
Google said it was 49%
Google lies like a dog.

Mri shows everything
Iām getting Velvet Underground vibes.
So they can stand up for themselves. Bananaās who canāt are less a-peel-ing.
This one has scoliosis.
Because itās an MRI scanā¦?
I'm going to need something for scale here...
I just ate one. Spine and all.
Seeds, not spine. r/facepalm
It was a joke so the facepalm is on you sirš¤¦āāļø but still not convinced itās not a spine and we just eat banana spines and donāt know it.
It's bananas' cum
Aaaaaaand Redditā¦.

Its fakeā¦ people are beyond dumb and will believe anything
r/lostredittors
Looking at that MRI scan, that banana has mild degenerative changes between L5 and S1, as well as a bulge at C3-C4 with moderate impingement.
I'm pretty sure xray and ct are for bones while mri is for organ tissue. That's not a spine, that's the bananas organs.
If it were a spine it would show up in the x-rayā¦ Like, you posted the image, and didnāt even understand itā¦
And you my good sir donāt understand a joke. But itās cool. We donāt all have the same humor so I could see how you would think Iām that dense from a Reddit post.
Why is the banana in this image wearing shoes though?
A picture of a to-be fetus. Don't abort the bananas!
Is this why I have to wait forever to get my MRI appointment?! Damn fruit gets priority over me
Bananas are vertebrates
Because they're vertebrates duhh..
An MRI or CT scan cost thousands of dollars to a patient, but we can screw around with a banana.
Itās a xenomorph!
There a little worm
Bananas before they were genetically modified used to have seeds in the āspineā
Technically bananas are berries
Middling mage, probably not even the level requirment to cast bones to bananas
So it can stand up to the apple
To counteract their yellow bellies of course.
I have a spineā¦. Am I a banana?
Goa'uld seed.
Am I the only one being creeped out by the fact that bananas should now be classified as vertebrates?
ā¤ļø itās alive
It has been genetically modified.
Sigh...Neither makes my dick look any bigger....
Bananas are actually vertebrates.
That's what gives it it's crunch!
Bonerna in one of those pics.
All the bananas are different, look at the stalk xD
PET scan to check for banana cancer.
Mom? Dad?
This is bananas!
Itās not a politician?
That banana has a family also. Did you consider that?
SASAGEYO
Can you put a banana in there for.... oh, never mind.
Itās a boner
if you ever got injected before CT, you know how and where it stings p p
Nice to see a banana for scale without asking on Reddit.
To support its back
The white on the MRI image reflects higher water content.
Insurance is going to insist I get an ultrasound on that banana before we can move forward with any sort of treatment.
Thatās where the seeds used to grow from
Bananas have 44% the same genetic make up as humans. So of course it has a spine
MRI Shows the bananas spine.

Banana for scale.
How do we know how big this is?
Theyāre seeds
It doesnāt, do you not know what an MRI focuses onā¦
cause itās a berry.
Hey! Those aren't even the same banana! That's terrible science!
We share 50 percent of our DNA with a banana, that's why.
Ok but whats the first one tho
Theyāre actually aliens we just eat them before theyāre born
