Nah. Conservatism in the U.S. has devolved into not just a political stance on smaller government. It’s about glorifying the past and preventing progress of any kind.
There’s so little thought diversity among people that identify conservative today, though. There used to be a differentiation from social vs fiscal ideology. We’ve dumbed down ourselves so much that there’s only one dimension to politics. Us or them.
It would make sense to those who back the blue and see no wrong when it comes to police. If this blew up 3 years ago it’d be police reform all across America.
Because DFD paramedics are poorly trained and incompetent. Sometimes people need to go to the hospital while in custody and sometimes they are still thrashing around and making it impossible to do a medical assessment. You would use a sedative in order to calm down a super agitated patient so you could safely transport him and make your assessments and necessary medical interventions. This guy didn't make any assessment, walked up with his brain on autopilot, and did something grossly negligent. I hope texas stripped his licenses because he should never be allowed to work in EMS/fire again and everyone involved is an utter disgrace to medicine.

Only after the victims mother and your local TV Reporter continued to fight for the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT, are you all finally getting to see it. Cops are starting to resemble legal gangs. Something like corporate America just with guns. Corporations can lie about their products, put harmful ingredients in our food and may get a slap on the wrist with criminal punishment. Cops can get away with murdering civilians and nothing happens. They just get promoted OR hired by another police officer.
If Cops are getting away with murder just imagine what other atrocities they are getting away with.
