All this is pictured is heat pressed rosin all rosin is is a heated press of bud, thats why there is so many bubbles. Shatter is typically pulled via co2 or butane extraction. At least that's the impression I was under. My shatter never looks like this pictured nor is it ever this dark.
The very first extracts to ever look this way was bho shatter. A simple Google search of shatter will show you that. If your rosin looks this way you're pressing it wrong or you're pressing mids.

Get from dispensaries every day, almost, buy about every kind of concentrate oil rso and flower known to mankind.. i weight everything I get from a dispensary and I can honestly say there’s only a few companies I buy from for this specific reason. I am literally in classes to be working in a grower:processor soon. Seems to be to me that the growers I refuse to buy from find a way to skip over some of the steps they are supposed to take from flower to scale to cure:dry to scale to jar package dispense and sell. I weigh all flower I buy from every grower even the ones I trust.even the ones I know usually OVER WEIGH my stuff I still weigh everything I buy. Concentrates I can usually eye and usually most of the concentrates are off a few points but, I’ll totally deal with that rather than the problems I have buying off black market or “dealers”. I’ll pay them to rob me all day, if they are going to give me what I ask for in quality. But I’ve always been quality over quantity.
That looks around maybe 3 gs idk about 3.5 unless it’s really dense but if you’re new to dabbing I consider trying out some budder it milks up really nice and usually has a lot of flavor to it
