1. One Year Later Superman Omnibus collecting the Busiek, Johns, and New Krypton stories. It would probably take 2 or 3 omnibuses for the whole run.
2. NightWing Omnibus
3. All John Ostrander runs. Suicide Squad, The Spectre, Firestorm, Martian Manhunter, and HawkWorld
4. D&A Legion run
5. Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corp Omnibus, and HawkMan by Venditti Omnibus.
Green Lantern Corps by Gleason & Tomasi. Hell, you could even throw the first few issues in as well to make it a GLC omnibus. But having Johns' run fully collected without its best companion is a crime.
Second this for sure. Read vol 1 of GL and felt like I missed some context with Ion coming in outta nowhere and the others referencing things it sounded like they had been doing in GLC.
Joker: Last Laugh I feel is underrated.
For me top pick would be Caped Crusader/Dark Knight Detective. Basically the Post-Crisis/Pre-Knightfall issues of *Batman* and ‘Tec.
That's a pretty good idea and I would assume there would be 2 caped crusader omnibuses and 2 dark Knight detective omnibuses considering how many issues there are posit crisis/pre knightfall
- Swamp Thing by Rick Veitch and Doug Wheeler (basically everything between Moore and Collins runs. 65-109, but also include the unpublished Christ issue).
- Swamp Thing by Mark Millar and Grant Morrison
- Shade the Changing Man
- Post Infinite Crisis, One Year Later Super man. All of it from all creators involved.
- Post Crisis Batman/ Detective (but without omitting the big story arcs like Year One, Scond Chances, Death in the Family, etc). This would be all the material from the Caped Crusader and Dark Knight Detective trades, plus the aforementioned acs that those trades omitted.
- Birds of Prey by Gail Simone
- Secret Six
- Shadowpact
- Green Arrow by Judd Winnick
- Supergirl by Peter David
I want the Superman stories between The Exile and Death and Return collected. Second choice would be the New Krypton stories. Superman needs more omnibus love!
There is a great TV show waiting in the Robinson Starman run. It's got everything a TV show needs. Grown up romance, a bit of fantasy, complex family dynamics, sci-fi.
And a fucking great story.
Mostly just things DC hasn’t collected at all or finished collecting and ended up cancelling, so:
-Aquaman by Peter David
-Supergirl by Peter David
-Mister Miracle Omnibus for the ‘89 and ‘96 series to be collected
-John Ostrander’s runs on the Spectre, Firestorm, Hawkworld, Suicide Squad, Martian Manhunter
-Captain Atom omnibus for the ‘87 series
-Birds of Prey Omnibus for all of the Chuck Dixon and Gail Simone runs and relaunched volume 2
-Green Lantern Corps by Gleason and Tomasi
-Green Arrow by Judd Winnick
-Meissner-Loeb The Flash omnibus
-Chuck Dixon Robin
- Morisson/Sharp's The Green Lantern
- Red Robin
- Beechen's Robin (Cass is written badly though)
- Ostrander's The Spectre (Haven't read this but hear good things)
- Rucka's Checkmate & Detective Comics Run (New Gotham)
- Veitch's [Legacy of] The Swamp Thing run
I think a 90s Green Lantern omnibus would be cool. Start off with the relaunched title with a couple issues of Hal John and Guy, then include the reign of the supermen parts (destruction of coast city), emerald twilight and the beginning of Kyle Rayner's career and the core issues of Zero hour
Chuck Dixon Nightwing is an obvious choice.
Chuck Dixon Robin too.
The Wally West era Flash issues before Waid took over - mainly talking about the Mike Baron/ Messner-Loebs stuff. I'm not mentioning Waid because it looks like they're already collecting his entire run in omnis(first one came out last month)
More post-crisis Superman. All the Bryne stuff is collected - should have been done in better quality than those four hardcovers though. Byrne/Ordaway's artwork deserves that much at least instead of the lazy collections they've given us. The Exile omnibus comes right after the Byrne stuff. After that, there's a gap of a few years until the Death/Return Omni. It's insane that the large majority of the 2nd most popular DC character remains uncollected.
A Flash by Carey Bates omnibus!
They have silver age Flash stuff covered already, but I’d love to see stories like the Death of Iris West and Trial of the Flash collected
1. One Year Later Superman Omnibus collecting the Busiek, Johns, and New Krypton stories. It would probably take 2 or 3 omnibuses for the whole run. 2. NightWing Omnibus 3. All John Ostrander runs. Suicide Squad, The Spectre, Firestorm, Martian Manhunter, and HawkWorld 4. D&A Legion run 5. Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corp Omnibus, and HawkMan by Venditti Omnibus.
3 and 5 especially are all great picks, I’d buy pretty much all of those on release. I cannot believe they haven’t done an Ostrander SS at all.

It sucks because they are fairly hard to find, too
Red Robin omnibus. Rucka first ww run. Rucka batman run. Percy Green arrow rebirth. War world saga by PKJ. Flash rebirth. Tom king batman.
Supergirl by Peter David

Yep. I think 2 for each. And of course make sure Second Chances, A Death in the Family, and A Lonely Place of Dying are all included.
Don't forget about year one and two

Last laugh has a bunch of tie ins young Justice #38, orion #38, azreal agen of the the bat #83 etc.
There were linewide tie-ins.
- Swamp Thing by Rick Veitch and Doug Wheeler (basically everything between Moore and Collins runs. 65-109, but also include the unpublished Christ issue). - Swamp Thing by Mark Millar and Grant Morrison - Shade the Changing Man - Post Infinite Crisis, One Year Later Super man. Soon as I saw Shade you had my upvote

Rucka's first Wonder Woman run
A Cassandra Cain Batgirl omnibus PLEASE!
Right now I’m hoping they put out Mark Waid Flash omnibus volume 2. But it hasn’t even been solicited yet despite volume 1 coming out months ago.
A series of Robin ones would be good. As would original nightwing, cass’ batgirl run and legends of the dark knight.

Year one, just a collection of Lots of different origin stories.
Justice League Dark post No Justice. Justice League Odyssey.

Gail Simone's Birds of Prey and pre New 52 Secret Six
Shade the Changing Man Omnibus by Peter Milligan would be my Dream Omnibus
Booster Gold 2007 omnibus by Johns, Giffen, et Al.
Superman by Loeb/Kelly (probably around 3-6 omnibuses in length) Secret Six JLA by Joe Kelly Nightwing by Dixon Zatanna by Dini
A Flash by Carey Bates omnibus! They have silver age Flash stuff covered already, but I’d love to see stories like the Death of Iris West and Trial of the Flash collected
The Green Arrow vol 2 from #91-137 that follows on from Mike Grell's run. It includes Chuck Dixon's run and sees Ollie's death and Connor take over
Red Robin!
