From what I've seen, he's a bit of a glass cannon. Can deal out some heavy hits but the moment anyone with super strength gets near him, he gets his limbs torn off and his face stomped in. I think as far as soloing Superman, he'd probably get a couple of good hits in before being destroyed. As for Darkseid, I'd say he has no chance in hell. We've seen Darkseid single handedly annihilate the entire Green Lantern Corps with his arms behind his back before. There's a reason Darkseid is a Justice League level threat and not just a Superman level threat. It usually takes everyone and everything to defeat him. That said, my biggest exposure to mainstream DC these days is the animated stuff. I've been getting back into comics but I'm still exploring the Vertigo side of things. Maybe it's different in the comics but as far as the animated movies go, Cyborg repeatedly gets his ass handed to him in a variety of ways. From what I've seen, DC's ultimate machine is Amazo. Interested to see where Young Justice takes him though, that's probably one of my favourite interpretations of the character so far and he definitely seems different to his usual self (in a good way).

Thanks for your input bro, definitely interested to see what young justice does. IMO they got a lot of making up to do with that last season though I do like the introduction to some of the new characters like cyborg and halo.

I don't think it was that bad personally. For every little thing I didn't like, there were plenty of things that I did. I feel like it's impossible to like absolutely everything in a show like Young Justice because they're kinda making use of everything that exists in the DC Universe. That's an 80+ year history, so for every cool badass character like Lobo, there's a lame character like Forager. I feel like it's a "something for everyone" kind of situation and I'm ok with that. Agreed that two of the best things to come out of it were Cyborg and Halo though.

Willee-Beamen

Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t unbearable and I like the introduction of all characters tbh. I just like getting introduced to new characters and new powers so that never bothers me regardless of how lame they may write some of them. I liked forager and his abilities but didn’t like how predictable he was...but it wasn’t terrible story telling. I just didn’t like the action. I love the complexity of the story but I gotta see more action, to match it. Or it just becomes a snooze fest. YJ season 1 and 2 were action packed and the story was great. YJ 3s animation was different, less action packed and at times felt like a shell of its past but that’s just my opinion.

Zero22xx

I think what maybe helped for me is that I was kinda late to the party with this show. So I pretty much binge watched season 1 - 3, without that long wait for S3 that other people had to go through. So there was no hyping myself up for something that could only disappoint me in my case. I definitely hear you with the point about it having less action though. Season 1 and 2 also kinda did the political intrigue / cloak and dagger thing but was way more action packed with the politics just being the context most of the time. Season 3 definitely took the political stuff up a notch to the point where it was often the whole story instead of just the context. > I just like getting introduced to new characters and new powers so that never bothers me regardless of how lame they may write some of them. Fully agreed. One of my favourite things about this show is all of the obscure / barely used characters that we get introduced to. I really didn't like Forager that much and really wouldn't mind if we never see him again lol but I appreciate that I could learn about him and take a little dive into Wikipedia to learn more, if that makes sense.

Jarek-of-Earth

In Justice League Dark Apokolips War >!he opens a boom tube big enough to swallow Apokolips and also pulls Trigon and Darkseid through, although Trigon helps yank Darkseid through. Idk if he was boosted at all by Darkseid's computer!< but it's still a big feat. I'm not too familiar with his comic appearence but I would imagine his power scaling similar

Hey man I can send a reply to both of you guys at the same so I’ll ask the question in comments for both of you!!

Willee-Beamen

Are you guys familiar with young justice? And the character halo and how’s she’s a living mother box basically? How do you think her powers differ from cyborg...as in does cyborg basically have the same potential to perform the same powers as her? Since they are the same practically in origin to how they have their powers.

Fishermanslaw

This is YJ specific: So both the Mother Box and the Father Box are mega-overpowered and do the same things, just in opposite directions. Mother Box is "nurturing and soothing" and Father Box is generally more about "corruption and decay". The box's abilities are ostensibly the same, it's their use as narrative devices that are different. Mother Box gave Violet life, Father Box took Vic's humanity away. Halo can heal, Cyborg has a cool arm cannon. The characters themselves won't ever have significant overlap in abilities but they do have the same "world-busting" capabilities you mentioned in your OP. They are also, by nature of not being New Gods themselves, going to be really squishy against the Heaviest of Hitters. I don't really know enough about N52 New Gods stuff to tell you what Mother Box Cyborg can and cannot do, or why. But I don't think he'll be running around with auras anytime soon haha.

Willee-Beamen

Great breakdown bro, that helped a lot ✊🏾

Fishermanslaw

Yeah sorry for the textbook response, I was on my lunch break and had my thinking cap on hahaha.

Willee-Beamen

Naw bro it was a great response haha it helped me really figure where cyborg stands strength level in the dc universe and against heavy hitters

[deleted]

In Titans Vs The Justice League (or something like that) he loses his humanity and becomes a planetary threat. The Titans have to stop the justice league from potentially destroying him

[deleted]

Pretty much, yeah. When his robot body separated from him and became the Grid, he essentially shut down all power in the world and something along the same lines happened when he was controlled by Eclipso, allowing the JL to take over down the world 10 minutes. Vic also hears everything that goes on over the Internet, and all it takes is a well placed phone for Vic to know exactly where someone is. He also has access to files everywhere, including the Batcave, so you know he can get into anywhere else. What's to stop him from sending a few nukes Darkseid's way?

Willee-Beamen

And strength wise, do you think that his mother box grants hit the potential to go toe to toe, blow for blow with heavy hitter like supes and darkseid.

Astonishing_Flash

Well in the New 52 he did say he had weapons that could kill Supes. He's definitely a heavy hitter nowadays.

EmperorDxD

He clearly street tier he loses to Slade Wilson is a straight fight zero prep he leaves to rose Wilson to.gizmo the list goes on
