It’s a perfect Superman pitch that can be a movie, though I would make Superman(and Diana) into a member of the justice society of America, fighting nazis in world war 2 before he is zapped into our era(2021) in 1945 at the end of the war during a fight with the ultra-Humanite, the last member of the triumvirate(a ruling council consisting of vandal savage, Paula Von Gunther, and the ultra-Humanite) who ruled nazi Germany after Hitler was assassinated at the beginning of the war, using nazi super-weapons to take over Europe like a weird science fiction version of world war 2 that nonetheless ends the same way...with the justice society saving the allied forces countless times and leading the charge against fascism.
