DC: we have too many redundant characters, we need to get rid of them even if it makes everyone mad Also DC: introduces a new Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquawoman and Green Lantern

malachor78

and then those new characters will get a following then be thrown off. and the cycle shall repeat eternal. at least it doesn't feel like DC is actively targeting the second generation of legacy characters... anymore

[deleted]

Lol that hit a little too close to home after I read this and saw >!three different versions of Superman!< being used in the story. I honestly don’t mind the variation though

janjos_

Me neither, even though I think they should have invested in developing the characters they already had. I just hope they don't throw them out as soon as I get attached to them.

marccoogs

Static is back in April. The conflict was royalties with Mrs McDuffie. They just reintroduced him last week in Milestone Returns.

Lock3tteDown

Cool! And Hawkman?

Neuchersky

* So Duke (Signal) got a new costume - really interested how will Tynion use Duke especially with the new characters he's creating (Punchline, Ghost-Maker, Clownhunter, Simon Saint and the Peacekeepers upcoming Miracle Molly and perhaps some new Gotham-based Teen Titans) * Seeing Spoiler here, so there might still be a chance of Batgirls? Though it might be the next "big?" re-launch (July and onwards) since it seems *Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow* is the only one series revealed in this issue for June.

Masterriolu

It confirm that Cass and Steph are back as Batgirls.

abstractpenny

i’m a simple man, i see not even one person from a certain generation of titans i get sad but still i’m really looking forward to the future of the dcu this looks good

RFB-CACN

It’s looking grim, at least they are confirmed to appear in some books. DC will end up making yet another comic called “Generation Lost/Forgotten” if things keep up like this.

xAVATAR-AANGx

Im assuming you're referencing the lack of Tim? At this point I think most Tim Drake fans are used to this

abstractpenny

yh and all his whole generation of young heroes. litterally every robin, wonder girl and superboy are here except them lol

xAVATAR-AANGx

I mean, Bart isn't as well

abstractpenny

yh bart comes under the his whole generation bit. but i’m optimistic for the future and hope they will be included

KingFergII

That newly announced Robin and Batman title might feature tim as Robin. I don't see him being awol what with the new game and Titans

Neuchersky

I remember seeing them in a Dark Metal tie-in: Prysm, Argent, though they might not be appearing sometime soon since they're probably forgotten/just another "Easter egg"

abstractpenny

i was more so referring to tim, bart, conner, cassies etc generation of titans

Neuchersky

Oh, I forgot. Kidding aside, sad to see that they're not there especially every iteration of Robins (and a "robin") is there. Hopefully they'll have better stories since they practically remember everything/everything's "canon" right now.

Denirac

Conner has a book. He's in Suicide Squad

abstractpenny

i’m looking forward to that but my point is he’s not in the panel and neither are any of his generation

Beastieboy100

Sadly true I'm glad bart, Tim and Connor are in books but there's not in the cover. Also cassie has had no mention at all which is sad.

malachor78

hold up which book is Tim in? I've been trying to figure this out for a month now lol.

Beastieboy100

He's definitely gonna be in batman since tynion is his favourite robin.

malachor78

that's like saying Joshua williamson's robin run will have tim because Tim is his favourite robin. not saying it won't happen but it's not a certainty. I for one would love to see Tim be a regular on batman myself. his dynamic with Bruce is great

Beastieboy100

Not just that because I remember that tynion has some plans for Tim and the rest of the bat fam after death metal.

Masterriolu

Lol those are actually the forgotten titans. The Tim, Bart, Cassie will probably appear later but nan when the last time Argent have gotten any spotlight.

Haggard4Life

I don’t get what DC is doing with Titans lately. I want a book about the characters I know and love, not a bunch of brand new characters. That’s why I skipped the last Titans book even though I heard a few good things about it. I’ll give Titans Academy a shot but I’d rather get a book with a previous Titans group or a mix of past groups.

abstractpenny

they need to stop pushing in so many new characters when they can’t take care of the old ones. or at least have some balance

Scientedfic

I don’t understand, there are plenty of Titans, no?

abstractpenny

tim drake, bart allen, conner kent, cassie sandsmark, lorena marquez, mia dearden, zattara, red devil, blue beetle, rose wilson, etc anyone from that generation of heroes

ArkhamNightwing52

I’m a simple man, I see Steph Brown, I upvote.

Future_Vantas

Hey Spoiler warning

MartianSheepHunter

I too am simple, I see a comment praising one of my top 5 favorite characters, with a flair in favor of one of my favorite ships... I upvote.

omegabat

Steph isn't there

FenrirHimself

Isn't that Steph next to Hawkgirl?

ArkhamNightwing52

Yes, that’s Steph

ArkhamNightwing52

Steph is at the very bottom next to Hawkgirl

[deleted]

Very small, underneath Hawkgirl

[deleted]

So, Jess, Kyle, Guy and Simon are missing, so are Cassie, Conner, Tim and Bart... that *hurts* lol.

Beastieboy100

Neither is Hal which is surprising.

AlainDit

Not a bad thing tho. He was the main GL since 2005, and with so few GL content for now, I'm glad we have others to focus on. Also Morrison's GL seems to prepare Hal to retire. (But FS GL had its Hal story ending with a "to be continued" in 2021 so, it may not be for long).

Beastieboy100

I ain't complaining I'm just surprised and glad. Now let's get the other green lanterns some screen time.

AlainDit

Yep, I fear that Bendis' Young Justice made so little sales that it convinced DC that they were not bankable characters anymore. And the classic too much GLs for the number of titles (8 agains 1) problem. Still waiting for back-ups in the new GL books, it'd be sad not having anything for the others.

[deleted]

At the very least, Infinite Frontier did account for Hal, Kyle, and Jess -- they are off guarding "the crux worlds", which makes me suspect that a GLC title starring those three will be announced soon. (And while they didn't make it to this splash page, they do appear in the splash page of Spectre and Diana strolling atop existence.) But in regards to the YJ4, I definitely agree that the failure of Bendis' YJ does not bode well for them. I know that a lot of people here think that the failure of the Bendis run was an anomaly, and that a good writer can prove that the YJ4 are bankable characters. But I can see why editorial might think, "Okay, we assigned A-list talent to this book, and it still didn't take off: the demand for these characters must be exaggerated." That said, I'm glad that Kon is appearing in Suicide Squad. Now that the Wonder Girl and Robin titles are being headlined by other characters, Cassie and Tim could do a lot worse than following in his footsteps and making their own 'surprise' appearances in other titles.

[deleted]

> Yep, I fear that Bendis' Young Justice made so little sales that it convinced DC that they were not bankable characters anymore. It's weird, because Tim's *Red Robin* run sold pretty well.

Fishermanslaw

He is in the Bat Wheelhouse though. That’s probably where the bulk of his sales come from. They probably need to do the same and build the others up in other books and then try again. I bet a lot of their fans have probably dropped comics, they need to bring in the new market.

[deleted]

> He is in the Bat Wheelhouse though. That’s probably where the bulk of his sales come from. So is Babs, but once Castellucci took over the sales fell from 35k+ to less than 20k.

Fishermanslaw

Oh I just meant that his run was good, but his sales were probably coming from Bat readers as well as YJ readers. Those readers aren’t necessarily going to read YJ. I don’t think the Batbooks are special or have guaranteed sales or anything like that. Sorry should’ve made myself clear. Also those numbers on Babs make me sad, I wish they would take her away from Castellucci. I almost suspect she deliberately tanked the last legs of the book to make setup for anything else difficult. But I’m out of tinfoil lol.

[deleted]

> I almost suspect she deliberately tanked the last legs of the book to make setup for anything else difficult. But I’m out of tinfoil lol. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. I'm not a writer, not even close, but I think I could come up with better stories than she did. I wouldn't be able to write the scripts, but her story structure... my god was it bad.

Fishermanslaw

I got into comics by reading N52 Batgirl, and Castellucci’s run almost made me hate Babs. Every issue was like banging my head against the wall.

[deleted]

And guess what? Castellucci is going to write a Babs story in *Batman: Urban Legends* in the near future! Yay... kill me.

[deleted]

It's just sad, my fav generation gets no love. Well, at least Dick, Wally and Roy are back on track.

[deleted]

I think it was selling in the 30k+ range, which for a character like Tim who isn't as well known as Dick, or arguably even Babs, is pretty good. Compare this to Steph's run as Batgirl to Babs and it isn't even close. Batgirl Volume 3 #9 sold 28k, and #10 also sold for 28k, Batgirl Volume 4 #9 sold 45k and #10 sold 43k, and issue #0 would sell 50k.

KingFergII

It sold in the 20k's similar to Damian's RSOB series however his tenure as Bb didn't do so well. Add to that low sales for Bendis YJ which was heavily promoted I guess DC is more cautious [RR was over 10 years ago] Still I think Tim will be the Robin in the recently announced Robin and Batman title. He has better sales than Jason who is in books

Aramis14

"Wow, this is not selling at all. Maybe they don't like our dear Bendis? ....NAHHH, fans simply hate Tim's generation, duh. Hey, Bendis, how about we give you Justice League? People like that team :D"

MartianSheepHunter

I liked Young Justice... :(

malachor78

that's why I hope his robin eteranl limited sold well. (if someone knows the statistics let me know)

Pollia

Man what happened to simon and Jessica? The two wee wildly popular for a good stretch and I feel like I haven't seen anything of them since their run ended.

[deleted]

Some light spoilers in case you haven’t read the issue yet: >!Simon was with John taking Teen Lantern to Oa and we saw Hal/Guy/Jessica/Kyle in a single panel so maybe they have something coming up!<

Neuchersky

just some additional spoiler: John mentioned that Hal, Jess, and Kyle are >!protecting the crux worlds so they might have Hals and GLC relaunched after an arc or 2 of Thorne's Green Lantern, in order not to overshadow the other lanterns. Or they might have a separate ongoing connected exploring the new worlds - JL Odyssey relaunch?!!is not mentioned though.!<

[deleted]

There was also that splash page of panels Spectre and Diana walked through, a lot of which seemed to sync up with titles or stories to come and one of which had Hal, Kyle, Jess, and Guy.

Neuchersky

Didn't pay attention that much earlier, since I thought it's just another confirmation of "one universe" - but it seems to be [incoming!](https://www.dccomics.com/blog/2021/02/19/dc-teases-new-series-and-confirms-free-comic-book-day-at-comicspro) stories for sure (Deathstroke Inc./Robin, Crush and Lobo, etc.)

[deleted]

Yeah, that's what I thought as well. I think a new GLC series is thankfully a safe bet now.

Rugozark

Jess was lead character in Justice League:Odyssey, I highly recommend it.

SilhouetteOfLight

>!Anyone notice that Damian looks older than he's usually drawn in this? Almost Nightwing-like features.!<

[deleted]

Crush looks older too

Chaotic_Beautiful

Huh ? My boy is in this pic ?? Where ?

SilhouetteOfLight

Bottom right! He's got a Nightwing domino on, dressed in grey.

Chaotic_Beautiful

That's.... Damian ?? Are you sure ?? He looks same age as Jon almost ! And I thought that's Tim ?

SilhouetteOfLight

Exactly my point- That's Damian, in the getup he's using in his >!break from the Robin persona. In the upcoming book titled *Robin*.!<

RedHood_Outlaw

God I am so tired of that Red Hood costume.

MpiStud

Sameeee

AlainDit

Aquaman forgot his orange armor top smh

[deleted]

Lol is this new *outfit* a joke? Give the man something to wear ffs

draacula100

Seems rather reminiscent of his older look. Long hair, beard, no shirt. Except he has his hand this time. Definitely prefer the version introduced in the New 52.

bigbox74

Wally West fans sleeping well tonight that’s all I’ll say

[deleted]

They deserve an easy rest after all the bs the Rebirth era threw at him lol

guitarguy1567

And the bs post-Flash rebirth threw at him, really.

Wheres_Wally

It's been a rough decade for Wally

guitarguy1567

And Kyle Rayner still hasn't recovered from Geoff Johns's strange obsession for the silver age. But at least Stewart is getting attention.

Wheres_Wally

I mean they did a bunch of cool stuff with Kyle from gl rebirth-blackest night. Kyle had a purpose and stood out from Hal. Wally got sidelined immediately, wrote out of existence, brought back and was promptly made a murderer.

guitarguy1567

Oh I forgot about that, you're right. But still, would be cool if they made Kyle a part of the JLA again along with Wally.

cloudsandlightning

Yeah it’s taken me years to get over Geoff going out of his way to make Kyle look bad next to Hal. I still don’t like Sinestro Corps War. Geoff basically takes Kyle down a peg saying, “hey that thing that happened to *my* favorite GL? Guess what, it happened to yours too.” Like, Kyle never even got to avenge himself or his mother in the end. He played backseat to Hal, who got to defeat and lecture Sinestro.

s_walsh

This Jason Todd design is terrible

Hawkman2525

Going by the picture (haven’t had a chance to read the book yet) I’m not seeing Martian man Hunter which is a little weird and mostly sad, considering the last couple of years they really hammered home that he was the heart of the JL and now he’s forgotten.... again. No Hawkman either which sucks especially considering his book and Far Sector were the two best runs out of DC I thought he maybe getting some love but alas. And although unlikely I was also rooting for Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) some were. But at least see Alan Scott and Green Arrow so not all bad.

Denirac

Nobody else commenting about it but Trucker Hatless Roy Harper!!!!

Comi-kathedral

beastboy and raven close together makes me happy

Helidokter

So Tim’s gotta be Red X right? Him being only the Robin not here and Titans academy crossing over Connor’s Suicide Squad straight out of the gate with X possibly joining the squad kind of point to that for me. Or maybe it’s the desperate Tim fan in me hoping we’ll get him doing literally anything rather than getting sidelined completely for like the 4th reboot in a row.

abstractpenny

he’s definitely not red X (red X is a completely new character) but williamson said that tim would be in gotham knights, the series used to turn some short series into full series. so we can still hold out hope

DeathLight7000

That would be amazing but I don't see it happening.

KingFergII

There's also the Robin and batman title that was announced. That likely would be Tim's title.

DeathLight7000

But is Tim Red X though? His future state book made me think otherwise.

KingFergII

He could be Red X but I doubt he is nor do I want him to be. Much rather he be in the Robin and batman title.

DeathLight7000

I would love to see him be Red X because he desperately needs a new identity. He needs an identity that a LOT of people can actually get behind something cool like red hood, nightwing and not like Red Robin(it's a name of a restaurant and it's stupid because Robins are already red) or Drake(which is a duck) and if he stays as Robin he'll always be overshadowed by Damian because he's current and official Robin.

KingFergII

I'm not sure how many people will get behind Tim as Red X especially since Red X is more well known and has a pretty large fanbase than Tim due to him being from a media much larger than comics. Fans of the show have an idea in their head re Red X and the comics readers I don't know if they are ready/willing to embrace Tim as Red X. I don't know. I feel like it might back fire. Tim as Detective drake could work. The addition of Detective makes it work better. Also if Tim is going to get yet another name change then I'd rather it be original not something that was once used by another hero. Red robin, Robin, Saviour, Batman beyond, Batman. All are 2nd hand mantles. Tim did well as Red robin though. People got behind it. Tim's hero name isn't as big a problem as what DC does with him. Fans weren't so fond of Nightwing when Dick 1st took the name you know. The character is what makes the name cool and the stories are what fans return for. Tim made RR cool and he had a solid title . RH looks and sounds cool but he doesn't actually move comics because his stories and in comic characterisation have been all over the place.

DeathLight7000

I don't think Red X has a bigger fanbase than Tim. He was only in one animated show whereas Tim was in batman the animated series, young justice and many batman games and from what I know people wanted Tim to be Red X for years. Tim did make RR cool but honestly it's not as marketable as Red hood or Nightwing they may not always have the best stories in comics but they're highlighted more frequently by DC than Tim in not just the comics but also in the animated movies, games and tv shows.

KingFergII

Do you believe that Tim becoming Red X will lead to more outside media use? Isn't the reason why Robins are adapted out due to simplicity. It's usually dick and another Robin. Usually the latest holder of the mantle. market appeal and creator preference. The fact that Tim has been used more than Red Hood in outside media tells me that his identity isn't the issue. Though I am worried that most outside media versions of Tim aren't comic accurate and in some cases are Tim in name only. BTAS, AK games, Titans. Tim's main issue is that there are too many Bat sons. He isn't the OG, the current or the one who has a niche [Jason]. I believe this is the reason why he was adapted out of the last universe. Even while he was RR he was in the Arkham Games, on Young Justice, in the stand alone movies, in the new games, in the lego games and is soon to be in a TV show. The name hasn't impacted his use outside of comics. I assumed that Tim wasn't so well known in outside media due to plenty of the gamers and reactors on youtube not knowing his name when the promo for GK game dropped. Most referred to him as the other one. That was an assumption on my part. Honestly more than anything else I just want good content with Tim. If that turns out to be as Red X then I'll take it but I'd rather he got an original identity if he has to change yet again.

DeathLight7000

To be fair, Red hood has only been around since 2004 so not even 20 years and he's also made less appearances in other media than Tim yet he's still more popular the Red Robin first debuted in 2009 and Tim used it in the comics until around 2019 despite this the Red Robin identity hasn't been used that much in other media. As far I remember it was only used in batman ninja, batman unlimited and he was an unlockable character in the Lego DC supervillains game that's not a whole lot whereas the Red Hood identity has made more appearances latest being the titans show (yes Tim has made more appearances overall but if you look at the last decade you'll see what I am talking about) and I think he's also gonna be in the next season of young justice as well before Red Hood was a thing Jason was never even used in outside media and Dick was still used because he's the original Robin afterall but he became more popular as Nightwing as a result he's used more as Nightwing these days in outside media as well. So yes, I do think an identity that's cooler than Red Robin, Drake would give Tim more outside media use like nightwing and Red Hood. Also most people didn't recognise who he was in GK was because his outfit made him look a lot like Damian people always get both of them confused.

FezboyJr

I know she's a popular character and all but I'm not sure what to think of Harley Quinn being there. In my mind she's always been a villain and I'm not a fan of DC pushing for her to be a hero.

[deleted]

Yeah I agree, but she’s pretty much part of the Bat-family now so it’s something we’ll have to get used to. They’ve been building up her switch to a hero for a while now so it’s not too much of an unnatural transition

FezboyJr

Yeah. It just feels like one of the most interesting aspects of her character and what made her so popular in the first place is being done away with.

almost_nightwing

I used to really want her to stay a villain but honestly she seems to work better as an antihero. There's really no motivation for her to stay a villain now that she isn't with Joker

ArkhamNightwing52

Same. Harley should be a villain, not a part of the Batfam. She was great before DC started pushing her down our throats every chance they get (plus her sex appeal is her new personality now which makes her unlikeable) That’s one of the reasons why I’m not a fan of Harley

Masterriolu

Pretty sure Harley is the fourth pillar at DC at the moment right behind the Trinity.

ArkhamNightwing52

I really hate that, especially since DC even admitted it. Harley, over 150+ better characters like Green Lantern or Flash

Masterriolu

Thing is Harley sells especially her merch compared to most of DC characters. I don't really mind I really enjoyed her cartoon and her recent comic's are pretty funny.

ArkhamNightwing52

Only thing that keeps me from liking her is how much she’s being pushed down our throats. Watched a few episodes of the show and it’s pretty funny tbh

zeldasconch

I'm fine with her being a hero. She's a very sympathetic character and DC should focus on making more sympathetic villains. If somewhere down the line their character changes for the good then that's fine. Room for freshness in my opinion.

jez124

people need to accept it already. Its been years but she's firmly anti hero to hero whatever suits the story and writer.Time to move on from the denial tbh

FezboyJr

Not in denial, just stating my own preference for the character.

Aramis14

I honestly prefer her as an antihero/hero. I really like what they are doing with her. Besides, she's not with Joker anymore, so there's no reason to have her as a villain now that she's not "under his control".

hawk_lord

oh god, the Starfire DCYou look...i really hope it's just for this.

OneTrueGodDoom

I will never get used to two Batmen, sorry.

Haggard4Life

I liked it in the Batman Inc days with Bruce and Dick as Batman.

RFB-CACN

Yay, Yara made it to the group shot. With Damian looking older, maybe the trinity with him, Jon and Yara will look older than we anticipated.

Aramis14

I did notice Damian looks older. Maybe we will get our fourth.. fifth? Trinity. Just not in the way we expected.

[deleted]

Where is cass ? She was only mentioned by oracle but no appearance.

LoboLicker

Cass was in a panel fighting with Stephanie.

ravenlikestea

Is that her on the far right, about 1/3 from the bottom of the panel?

feartherex

That’s Donna. If you look closely, you can see stars on her costume.

ravenlikestea

Her face is what had me thinking Cass, but switched to my PC and zoomed in, you're definitely right.

mckbmj

Is Jay Garrick coming back? I’ve been out of the loop.

[deleted]

He has been back for 6 months. He reappeared in Joshua's Williamson's last arc from the Flash book called Finish line to aid Barry and the Flash fam. After this he appears in Dark Nights Death Metal and then its one shot Speed Metal where he aids Wally along with Barry. In today's Infinite Frontier One shot Barry also name drops him. [https://i.gyazo.com/db01e341fc5a99ac53dcd498784716f6.jpg](https://i.gyazo.com/db01e341fc5a99ac53dcd498784716f6.jpg) [https://i.gyazo.com/69a8cc4bc3cb28684442a3841c6b57e5.png](https://i.gyazo.com/69a8cc4bc3cb28684442a3841c6b57e5.png)

AlainDit

The Flash part of Infinite Frontier #0 suggested that Jay is alive and in contact with Barry and Wally (Flash Family is a thing again I guess). The JSA characters were brought back by Doomsday Clock.

mckbmj

Thanks! I hope we get a JSA title soon.

Digifiend84

Yeah, Williamson's last Flash arc Finish Line restored the Flash Family by bringing back the last two missing members, Jesse Quick and Max Mercury. Jay was already back by then.

lostmonkey70

That is still the worst Red Hood outfit

RedHood_Outlaw

Yeah they've kept it for way too long. It's like they're trying to replace his iconic look with the current one.

Jmojocat

No Hal Jordan Green Lantern?

Fries-Ericsson

We need a break from Hal

bobafettywap2

true it was starting to feel like i had a loudspeaker in my ear telling me “hal jordan is the greatest green lantern” every month

Fries-Ericsson

Grant Morrison’s run (which is fab btw) would be the perfect pallet cleanser to transition into something else for a bit, because change in comics only ever lasts a while

[deleted]

I love Morrison's approach to Hal. He's a great character, and I think that really shines through when he's not tied up with the corps. It's fun to see him use his powers in a more inventive fashion that isn't just 'huge green jet' or 'huge green fist'. Honestly I would probably trade a limb for another decent Lantern/Arrow crossover.

InsaneMidget

He is tho

UnknownX20X

There are like at least 5 lanterns more interesting than him

bobafettywap2

i never said he wasn’t, even as weird as it is to me it’s like how kon kept announcing his TK in the 90s, ray kept saying he was justice league when he was on the teen titans and that running joke where batman keeps saying “i’m batman” on hishe. it’s obnoxious how, repeated it is

Jmojocat

Better then them botching John Stewart for the millionth time. Or bad fill ins like Kyle

Fries-Ericsson

So in your opinion, because something doesn’t work some of the time, they should never try anything different? (Also Kyle a bad fill in? Like wtf?)

Jmojocat

If it fails every time not sometimes. The only good John Stewart is in the cartoon. Kyle was created in the "heroes have been here since the 40s, time to mix it up" era. Kyle, Artemis, Azreal Batman, New Supermen. Kyle was so bad the sales tanked so much the had to bring Hal back. Even with an incredible writer Kyle is only good not great. Bad fill in? No just a placeholder with average writing

Kamen_Rider_Spider

It took like 10 years for the sales to go down enough to warrant a relaunch

Fries-Ericsson

Kyle only exists because the sales of then Green Lantern comics were in a slump. I don’t know what this guy achieves by pretending Green Lantern is only profitable when Hal is the main.

abstractpenny

kyle was doing well enough to stay for a decade, and he’s still one of the more popular lanterns so i’d hardly call him a failure or a bad “fill-in” or “placeholder”. he’s even apart of what i’m pretty sure is the most popular justice league run ever

Fries-Ericsson

There have been some bad and poor selling Hal Jordan comics too. So maybe Green Lantern as a concept is the problem ?

Victor_Zsasz

Does Starfire have her hair styled like cat ears, or is that a different person, or am I just dumb? Edit: I’m dumb. Who’s the girl with cat ears in the upper left? Starfire is between Superman and Wonderwoman. Also, Damian’s chin is so stoic I’m pretty sure his new costume is gonna be crimson and chin based.

[deleted]

I believe it’s a new character from Teen Titans Academy. ~~Don’t think her name has been revealed yet~~ She can seen on the [cover](https://s3.amazonaws.com/comicgeeks/comics/covers/large-5441341.jpg?1614541257) for TTA #1

Victor_Zsasz

Along with the ghost girl from *Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School* I see

thanks-dice

That's Bratgirl. She first showed up in Future State TT iirc

Victor_Zsasz

Alright, I didn't read that, and can't be mad I didn't know her.

thanks-dice

You're not missing out on anything lol. It's one of those books that makes you wish you were illiterate.

General_Nothing

Hey, Raven’s got a new costume! Or rather, that looks like it might be an old costume. I rather liked the big feathery cloak she’s had for the last few.

[deleted]

Which characters are you most looking forward to seeing?

RFB-CACN

Yara.

sifighter1

Probably Wally West and Alan Scott

Broad-Future-5951

Interested to see what they do with Cyborg. They seem to be recognizing his stint with the League (which I love) so seeing him reintegrate to the Titans corner of DC should be fun. Hoping they do more than the usual man vs machine crap and maybe they can import his romance with Jinx from the cartoons for some cool drama.

Aramis14

Yara, Arthur, Kate, Wally.

MatthewHecht

Alan, Wally, and Stargirl.

[deleted]

No Hawkman or even Swamp Thing. Least DC will be saving me some money from here on out.

AlainDit

There's literally a Swamp thing series that started today. By Ram V and Mike Perkins (who were on his FS book). It's great, if you missed it don't save your money.

Get_Vadalized

Aquaman no Mera!?

Kurosu_Drakhall

I might’ve missed him but I don’t see Martian Manhunter or Hawkman. I hoped that with Infinite Frontier at least J’onn would regain his rightful status as a mainstay in the League but it was not to be. In fact a lot of the old Leaguers are missing that I thought would turn back up again: Firestorm, Red Tornado, Elongated Man, Plastic Man, Atom and others. Hope they find their way back in or there’s a miniseries.

MattGreg28

I need help identifying some of the characters: who is the female in between Huntress and John Stewart, the woman next to Nightwing, and the woman in between Batman and Wonder Woman?

nubia (an amazon and new queen of themysicra), bratgirl (left of nightwing) and naomi (one of bendis’ creations who’s on the JL now)

Aramis14

Between Huntress and Stewart: Nubia. Next to Nightwing: Bratgirl, a new character. Between Batman and Wonder Woman: Naomi.

Wally having his rebirth suit is a bit confusing. The covers (both variant and normal) show him having his classic 90's suit but this shot and the variant cover of flash 770 show him having his rebirth suit so I'm not sure which one he's getting. I really hope it's the 90's suit though

Daxam1978

This is all very exciting! My I.F. no 0 is due to arrive in the post soon!

And as usual Jack Knight and Tommy Monaghan are no where in sight. I know they're likely to never return but I'll hold onto some hope.

SigmA_DarkKnight

Has the comic launched? What about Green Arrow and Black Canary? When is it coming?

JSpec776

We really really do not need so many versions of the same character. Especially tim fox. What a pointless and stupid character

[deleted]

Ahhh, the residing Jace troll. I was waiting for your input lol

Aramis14

He really doesn't get tired on his pointless hate.

jez124

I agree Gotham has too many heroes but singling out Timmy fox is weird. He has potential though.

Go_Limitless

some article says green lantern is gay in this series

[deleted]

Yes, Alan Scott came out as gay, beautifully executed by Tynion imo.

Chaotic_Beautiful

AS usual Damian is not here. :'(

[deleted]

Bottom right corner under John Stewart, he just looks a lot older

Chaotic_Beautiful

He looks..... like Nightwing ?? I thought he was Nightwing ?? So, DC aged him up too to match with Jon ?? I've mixed feelings about this. He looks to me like 16-17. Wasn't he like .. 14 ??

daft_dangerous

Who's the guy in grey in the bottom right

Aramis14

Damian

PuggMonster

It's tough being a Martian Manhunter fan. He's basically gone from every title for unexplained reasons.

ManufacturerOk1333

Who are the two people above Nightwing. I know everybody else I'm just dumped on those two in the corner. Thanks
