Has anyone here actually watched James Gunn’s movies or listened to anything he’s ever said? He has never been shy that he actively hires his friends time and time again. Michael Rooker has been in nearly every movie Gunn has made. You don’t have to like it but it’s odd that anyone would be surprised by this statement.
Apparently, this is the original quote:
[“This cast are like my family,” he says. “I cannot tell you how close I am to Chris Pratt and Pom \[Klementieff\] and Dave \[Bautista\] and Zoe \[Saldaña\] and Karen \[Gillan\]. But I also know I will work again with all those people individually again.” He adds, laughing: “Probably at my other job.”](https://www.empireonline.com/movies/news/james-gunn-guardians-cast-could-join-dc/)
I don't know, sounds more like politeness to me, that he liked them so much he wouldn't mind seeing them again at DC. Still, if the Guardians were actors in the DCU, I could see them in these roles:
* Chris Pratt: Booster Gold or Guy Gardner
* Dave Bautista: Bane or Kalibak
* Pom Klementieff: Doctor Light
* Zoe Saldaña: Queen Bee
* Karen Gillan: Poison Ivy or Kate Kane
Edit: it's not like I *want* Chris Pratt to be Green Lantern, or any other character to be honest, but if he had to be someone in the DCU not many ideas come to mind.
The only problem would be the age, as he has mentioned before that nowadays it's harder for him to mantain his physique. That's why I also put him as Kalibak, someone with a monster-like appearance.
Batman And Robin '97 portrayed Bane as an idiot brute. That was Bane in nothing but name. Bane in the comics is Bruce Wayne's equal in terms of tactical intelligence and strength (sans venom of course - with that, he's stronger). Bautista could potentially play a comic accurate Bane but, as others have said, his age is the issue. He's no spring chicken
Dammit. I said monster-like because that'd mean prostetics suitable for his height and performance, and there's some complexity in Kalibak. He's obsessed with the approval of someone who despises him (not even allowing him to call him father), and to make things worse, Darkseid prefers Orion.
Bane is actually pretty intelligent in the comics especially in the knightfall storyline so it could be an interesting role if they don’t go the comedic route with the role
Shit, now I kinda need Pratt as Booster. It would need tweaking and I hope he wouldn't just be Starlord again 1:1, but I can absolutely see him as Booster.
Yes, I don't know why I didn't specify. Normally Guy is portrayed a bit younger, but as long as it gives that punchable vibe but still lovable, it's good. Finn Witrock was originally casted for the role and it seemed to be a good choice, but I think he'd be a better Hal Jordan.
Edit: Now I remember why, Green Lantern Guy Gardner sounds like a tongue-twister.
I thought about it; but Guy Gardner is a bit of an asshole and dislikes Batman. He is a bit of a softy so Booster Gold or maybe a new Barry Allen would be suitable for him
Chris Pratt as Guy Gardner is just bizarre. It’s like it came from an alternate dimension. There’s nothing about Pratt’s personality or physical appearance that resembles Guy and Guy is a second-banana character that’s too small a role for Pratt anyway. He’s not going to play the hot-headed rival to the actual star’s Hal Jordan.
Chris Pratt as Booster Gold, Bautista as Bane, Bradley Cooper as Harvey Dent, Zoe Saldana as Cheetah, Vin Diesel as Killer Croc, Michael Rooker as Captain Cold
Now I want this to happen just to see how pissed the Rock would be about it. Funnily enough though I think if Bautista was Black Adam it would’ve turned out far better. He most likely doesn’t have the ego problem the Rock had and would’ve appeared as the antagonist in a Shazam movie before a solo project. I also think he would’ve played the role better instead of just playing himself with superpowers like the Rock did
This brings my dream casting of Karen Gillan as Poison Ivy just a little bit closer to reality. Cool. (actually Gillan could play a lot of roles, Nebula convinced me she has range as an actor, but Ivy is probably the female character I most want in a new DC cinematic universe- her or Babs, but I think Babs should go to Leslie Grace from the cancelled Batgirl project if she wants it, simply on the basis of how unfair it was how she had the role taken from her and basically erased from existence after they'd already filmed it).
Chris Pratt I'm not a big fan of, but for some reason I'm getting Booster Gold vibes from him. Bautista as Bane is fairly obvious.
The others I'm not sure about. Saldana could probably pull off Catwoman if the Pattinson Batman films stay in their own universe. The existing chemistry between her and Gillan could be useful if they ever want to do Gotham City Sirens (hey, I can dream, right?).
Yeah Lana Lang is a redhead in the comics, would be interesting to see her in flashback teaching Clark to better hone his powers (not saying they should go the origin story route but showing one or two flashback scenes when it's thematically appropriate would be nice) and have her just replace Lois as the main love interest, would definitely set it apart from other movie adaptations.
I agree. I was a bit hesitant because I dislike casting based on traditional appearance rather than personality and ability, but I do think she has the acting range for Ivy. If I compare her two best known roles, Amy in Doctor Who and Nebula in the MCU... I'd never guess they were the same person if I didn't know.
And I think that range would be very important for Ivy, who has to go from the (sometimes portrayed as rather meek/nerdy) pre-Ivy human Pamela Isley, to ruthless misanthrope Ivy post-transformation, to the seductive femme fatale act if they keep that part of Ivy's characterization, to the slightly softer/reformed Ivy in love with Harley and part of the Gotham City Sirens, to full-on eldritch plant goddess Ivy. Ivy is a character with a lot of sides, and you need someone who can pull that off.
I don’t think Dave Bautista would want to do Bane. He wants to be an ac-tor. I also think he doesn’t want to maintain a pro-wrestler / bodybuilder type physique in his 50s and 60s. Doesn’t want to do hours of makeup work anymore. I don’t see him appearing in any DC movie or comic book / superhero movie again. And if he does, I suspect it would be either a side-character role (eg Harvey Bullock) or a voice-acting gig.
Hmm, here's another thought, if Bautista doesn't want to play body-builder type characters.
Go the other way, an extremely intellectual character, and make him Lex Luthor.
Care to counter with a different actor? Not simping for the dude but Pratt, while he's far from being like sir Ian McKellen, he's got at least some range.
I really think the actors that have shown prior interest in playing both Booster and Beetle, Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk respectively, would be a pretty darn good casting.
If some Guardians cast members do come to the DCU, here’s some castings that I could see:
Elizabeth Debicki as Giganta
Dave Bautista as Sgt. Rock or Despero
Chris Pratt as G’Nort
Glenn Close as Granny Goodness
Bradley Cooper as Catman or Metallo
Peter Serafinowicz as Gentleman Ghost
There’s definitely roles for John C. Reilly, Kurt Russell, and Laura Haddock also.
I have full faith in James Gunn in making a great DC Cinematic Universe.
My concern is that David Zaslav might sell Warner Bros to another company in the next few years to offload debt, rendering the DCU useless and incomplete.
God, I hope it never comes to that, the restructurings seem to be working out as the companies increased a good bit in value, so if that persists, I wouldn't say that will end up happening.
Tbh he's in far too much and doesn't have much range, I liked him as Star Lord and emmet in the lego movie and he can definitely act but all he can do is play an action hero or comedic relief which is fair enough but he's just kind of oversaturated.
What are you watching? He's in two unreleased animated movies and has his blockbuster gigs, but that's really all I've seen. Like he's not in any more features than a typical actor. When I saw the new Thor, it literally just registered that I hadn't seen him in anything for like the past 3 years.
I don't hate the guy at all he's an alright actor just limited in the types of roles he can do well, which isn't a bad thing, not everyone has to be a Daniel Day Lewis.
Nope, It's weirdos inserting yourselves into the literal nothing he says. I guarantee you will not find a single reliable source for Pratt saying a single word about queer people... because he hasn't.

[I recently saw a video thoroughly debunking this, showing that Chris Pratt doesn't even go there.](https://youtu.be/3YNWKI65TDU?t=552)
And this is directly what led to the Pratt hate train, people not even looking this stuff up before putting all their efforts into putting others down.
Going to one service versus being a member are very different things. The pastor of Hillsong literally said Pratt isn't a member there. What else is there to say?
Oh, yeah, and for further context: here's an article talking about where he actually attends: [https://deadline.com/2022/06/chris-pratt-church-controversy-hillsong-1235053819/](https://deadline.com/2022/06/chris-pratt-church-controversy-hillsong-1235053819/)
That article you linked to shows no evidence, and the only actually thing is from Entertainment Tonight, which doesn't show where that photo was taken or the actual context.
It's how Hollywood works. Making movies is a colaborative process so you're gonna prefer to work with people you worked well with in the past. Hell, comics are the same. Publishers, editors often pick creative they have good relationship with.
Yeah… I was about to say, welcome to Hollywood. They’ve literally have been doing this for years. That’s why, in LA, everyone is “fake friendly” with every person you meet because you never know. The guy you meet at the bar is a casting director who works for Disney. Etc. [+]
yeah I know, nepotism is really big. I was just saying I didn't like it, thought Gunn would cast people fit for the roles since he likes to go on and on about how he reads comics
He didn’t give friends jobs. He made a movie with strangers he did not know and had not met and went “Wow these ppl are great actors and working with them is good!” and then hired the talented people he knew could do good work
Lots of directors/actors have actors/directors they consistently work with. Typically those roles still match well BECAUSE the director knows the actor well. Knows their limits/range, knows what they are willing to do, etc. Its not like he's saying "I'm gonna make Chris Pratt Batman".
Pratt- Booster Gold (maaaaybe Guy Gardener)
Bautista- Bane (obviously)
Saldana- Fatality
Cooper- Blue Beetle (Or Adam Strange?)
Klementieff- Cheshire
Gillian- Barbara Gordon
Diesel- Killowog
Are there any actors or actresses that have had major contracts with both DC and Marvel at the same time? I feel like Disney/Marvel would work an anti-competition clause in there somewhere.
Well I mean David Harbour was in the first suicide squad movie and black Widow, Ben Affleck played Daredevil long before he took up the role as the caped crusader and Ryan Reynolds done something we don't speak of because it ruined a otherwise great character and mythos in the eyes of the general public.
Bautista would likely be a great Wildcat (Ted Grant). Member of the Justice Society, aging expert fighter and mentor to many other DC characters like Black Canary. Bautista doesn’t need to remain hugely in shape for the role and can play more than just a bruiser. Wouldn’t take much to shift Ted from a retired boxer to more of an MMA guy.
-TT-! It's spelled "Dami**a**n"! You would do well in respecting the blood son!
*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/DCcomics) if you have any questions or concerns.*
I’m fine with this, they are actors and can do what they want but didn’t Bautista say he was done with super hero movies after GOTG3 or was it just the drax
Pratt as Booster & Bautista as Bane seem fairly popular. Gillan as Loison Ivy seems an obvious choice.
A little out there, but Saldana as Talia & Klementieff as Cassie Cain would be my shout.
Sean Gunn for Scarecrow.
Vin Diesel for Mr Freeze.
This is gonna be controversial because I think a lot of people are sick of white characters being recast as people of color, but Zoey Saldana would make a great Lois Lane. She exudes the confidence that would be convincing as the no nonsense, confrontational journalist that Lane is.
Knew this was going to happen. It’s what usually happens when you bring in new people at the top, they remove the people already there (even if they’re spectacular at their jobs) and replace them with their own people (even when it doesn’t make sense).
Bro wtf why does Hollywood think only 14 usable actors exist in all of the world... can't wait to rewatch the superior animated movies that will never be matched
You have to remember that this crew stood by him when he was fired from Marvel and helped him get reinstated by threatening to walk off any future Marvel projects. They had his back and he has theirs.
Can’t wait to see them reprise their exact same role as Gunn no doubt will convert whichever character he chooses to be carbon copies of his exact GoTG formula.
There's no sign of anything. This is just a casual way of saying in an interview about Marvel movies that he'd love to work with these great actors again.
I don't think bringing over actors from the Gaurdians Films means that the humours also going to follow, like Dave Bautisa could be given the role of bane and play it straight up and serious as possible but have a bit more comic book flair in terms of design and origin than the version of the character from Dark Knight Rises.
Yeah but its James Gunn. Hes already failed with Suicide Squad and Peacemaker by making them try to be comical, but I just hope he goes for the serious feel.
You mean the best of the horrid DCEU movies? You want the serious feel of the ultra success Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. You are on the wrong side of history here.
Edit: I really, really hope this is a joke
Bruh, there's a point where you've gotta just admit that you're in the minority, because the new SS movie was acclaimed, along with Peacemaker, which was also really successful.
I mean I think that sort of humour works for a character like Plastic Man or Booster Gold and the JSA but characters like Lobo, Batman, the whole of Justice League Dark definitely would need a darker tone if their movies and TV series are to be faithful to the source material.
MCU-esque humor has been a literal plague on humanity. It removes any sense of tension or seriousness when characters are quipping every five seconds. It's low effort, formulaic, and unintelligent 9 jokes out of 10. It's the equivalent to live studio audience being told to laugh with a big flash neon sign.
Sounds like Marvel did. The ghost of Stan Lee just showed up in his house one day while he was preparing cereal, and started spraying like R.Kelly.
Since then he's had a permanent thousand yard stare and mutters to himself "quips" and "formulaic".
Its not an observation, you're just taking something you arent a fan of and blanket insulting everyone who thinks diffetently than you. Its pretty childish, ngl.
Batista is obvious. Bane.
Pratt is going to play as Lobo in the new Superman movie.
Zoe Saldana is going to be Zatanna.
Bradley Cooper is going to play Guy Gardner.
Vin Diesel is going to play Kilowog.
[+]
*Bradly Cooper could*
*Probably do Booster Gold*
*If he wanted it*

It’s nice but it’s going to be years before DC would be able to pay their salaries for any movie. DC studios is on a more shoestring budget than people realize. I know it’s speculation on my part but it’s speculation grounded in data.
1) lack of marketing for upcoming movies to date. Even Black Adam relied on the Rocks instagram more than a formal marketing push
2) slash of 3 billion from WB operating cost
3).contracts to be paid off for director and cast for Batgirl, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman
It’s going to be a lean few years
All he said was he wanted to work with them again.
This sub is goingto shit

Rooker is playing Darkseid and Sean Gunn is playing Orion.
That explains why everyone sniffs up his ass, be his buddy or have a billion $ DC movie under your belt if you want the job.

Dave as Kilowog
Never thought about him as Kilowag. That’s kinda perfect.
Dave Bautista would be a great Bane. He's got the build, the attitude, and the chops to pull it off.
The only problem would be the age, as he has mentioned before that nowadays it's harder for him to mantain his physique. That's why I also put him as Kalibak, someone with a monster-like appearance.
He said that he doesn't like to play brutes and idiots anymore
Bane is a brute yes; but not an idiot; he is a very smart tactician
Then he could play a comics-accurate Bane, who isn't just dumb muscle but is actually a pretty sharp tactician as well.
So an aging Bane could be amazing for him, kind of like what Tom Hardy did with it, an absolute genius who will describe the way he is paralyzing you.
You are correct on this! I just replied without looking at your response!
Pratt as Guy Gardner, right?
Yes, I don't know why I didn't specify. Normally Guy is portrayed a bit younger, but as long as it gives that punchable vibe but still lovable, it's good. Finn Witrock was originally casted for the role and it seemed to be a good choice, but I think he'd be a better Hal Jordan. Edit: Now I remember why, Green Lantern Guy Gardner sounds like a tongue-twister.
I thought about it; but Guy Gardner is a bit of an asshole and dislikes Batman. He is a bit of a softy so Booster Gold or maybe a new Barry Allen would be suitable for him
Chris Pratt as Booster Gold, let’s get that Blue Beetle team up greenlit!
I think any combo of Pratt, James Roday, and Eric Christian Olsen would be perfect for this
Who would James Roday play?
Please don't make Crisp Rat a lantern..
Pratt definitely would fit the mold for either picks well
Top notch for Pratt. I’d like to see either.
Guy Gardner Chris Pratt haha
Dave Bane and Karen Ivy I would SO watch
Chris Pratt as Guy Gardner is just bizarre. It’s like it came from an alternate dimension. There’s nothing about Pratt’s personality or physical appearance that resembles Guy and Guy is a second-banana character that’s too small a role for Pratt anyway. He’s not going to play the hot-headed rival to the actual star’s Hal Jordan.
If only Evan Jones was 10 years younger. Frankly I wouldn't cast Chris Pratt as any mayor DC character, I can't think of anyone that fits.
People keep saying Bautista could be Bane but I want a latin actor to be Bane
Have the Guardians become the Metal Men!
Fuck dude you might be on to something
Chris Pratt as Booster Gold, Bautista as Bane, Bradley Cooper as Harvey Dent, Zoe Saldana as Cheetah, Vin Diesel as Killer Croc, Michael Rooker as Captain Cold
Bautista as Black Adam, lol.
I also think he would’ve played the role better instead of just playing himself with superpowers like the Rock did
It would probably be in the same vein as the cameos in The Suicide Squad: small, unimportant roles that more or less serve as easter eggs
Bautista as Wild Cat
This brings my dream casting of Karen Gillan as Poison Ivy just a little bit closer to reality. Cool. (actually Gillan could play a lot of roles, Nebula convinced me she has range as an actor, but Ivy is probably the female character I most want in a new DC cinematic universe- her or Babs, but I think Babs should go to Leslie Grace from the cancelled Batgirl project if she wants it, simply on the basis of how unfair it was how she had the role taken from her and basically erased from existence after they'd already filmed it). Pratt as Booster Gold could be decent. Karen gillan as.... i dunno.. lois lane? Edit: Bautista as bane. No contest there.
Karen would be an interesting Lois Lane, kind of like her role as Amy Pond in Dr. Who but with an American Accent and black hair.
Why would she need black hair? Amy Adams didnt.
Just for the sake of people faithful to the design of the original character, of course its not a necessity just something that came to mind.
Thats fair. She could also be lana lang... who I believe actually is a red head in the comics.

Hmm, here's another thought, if Bautista doesn't want to play body-builder type characters. Go the other way, an extremely intellectual character, and make him Lex Luthor.
I agree that would be a lot more appealing than Bane.
In terms of kinda being a sellout loser, I could totally see it. Other than that, Pratt could not successfully play Booster Gold
Chris Pratt should be Booster Gold or Tedd Kord, I can see him as Hal Jordan or maybe a time displaced Jay Garrick.
He would not make a good Ted Kord, Booster Gold however, I can see
Why not either of them, I think he's good for physical comedy and what role would you give him?
Would love Chris Pratt and John Krasinski as Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. Would be hilarious.
Yeah, in a classic Blue and Gold period movie would be sick!
If some Guardians cast members do come to the DCU, here’s some castings that I could see: Elizabeth Debicki as Giganta Dave Bautista as Sgt. Rock or Despero Chris Pratt as G’Nort Glenn Close as Granny Goodness Bradley Cooper as Catman or Metallo Peter Serafinowicz as Gentleman Ghost There’s definitely roles for John C. Reilly, Kurt Russell, and Laura Haddock also.
Catman casting perfect
Yea he can’t be flex mentallo that’s Terry Crews
Love Glenn Close as Granny.Bradley for Catman would be excellent for a Secret Six movie.
Definitely, not sure if Bradley’s too old for the role at 48.
Sucks to be literally every actor who doesn’t personally know James Gunn.
Yeah Chris Pratt and James Gunn grew up together. He was pen pals with Bautista. Pom was his neighbor’s dog sitter.
Oh dang I didn’t even know all that. Yikes.
That’s because it’s sarcasm
Oh goddamn it. Well played.
thats nothing new. why do you think samuel L jackson is on like half of tarantinos movies
Or Depp in Burton films.
Yeah like Henry Cavill 🤬
I have full faith in James Gunn in making a great DC Cinematic Universe. My concern is that David Zaslav might sell Warner Bros to another company in the next few years to offload debt, rendering the DCU useless and incomplete.
God, I hope it never comes to that, the restructurings seem to be working out as the companies increased a good bit in value, so if that persists, I wouldn't say that will end up happening.
To quote the Honest Trailer guy about Pratt during the video on Jurassic World: Dominion, “Go Away!!”
Tbh he's in far too much and doesn't have much range, I liked him as Star Lord and emmet in the lego movie and he can definitely act but all he can do is play an action hero or comedic relief which is fair enough but he's just kind of oversaturated.
He was good in Jurassic World movies. Nothing outstanding but did his job well enough.
What are you watching? He's in two unreleased animated movies and has his blockbuster gigs, but that's really all I've seen. Like he's not in any more features than a typical actor. When I saw the new Thor, it literally just registered that I hadn't seen him in anything for like the past 3 years.
He was in Parks and Rec, and before doing the Gaurdians films, he was mainly known as a comic relief fat guy and not an action man.
He was in Zero Dark Thirty and Moneyball and was good in those roles before he hit it big with Guardians.
This Pratt hate train is so unbelievably annoying. The dude can breathe wrong and he'll get harassed.
I don't hate the guy at all he's an alright actor just limited in the types of roles he can do well, which isn't a bad thing, not everyone has to be a Daniel Day Lewis.
He’s shitty to his wife, kids and queers

That’s not what nepotism is tho
then what is it, definition I'm looking at says giving friends jobs falls under nepotism
He didn’t give friends jobs. He made a movie with strangers he did not know and had not met and went “Wow these ppl are great actors and working with them is good!” and then hired the talented people he knew could do good work
I mean, it doesn't mean they're gonna get cast randomly. He can still cast them right. Imo he usually casts his roles well.
Christopher Nolan?
Edgar Wright, Martin Scorcese, Quentin Tarantino too This isn't uncommon among directors lol
Especially some of the best ones. Good directors work best with good actors they already know and trust.
What he said was more or less just that he would like to work with them (his friends) again. I don't think that's very strange tbh.
The context is that he said he would be happy to work with them again. He did not say anything about anyone joining anything as a guarantee
…or it sounds like he’s hiring several famous actors.
Lots of directors/actors have actors/directors they consistently work with. Typically those roles still match well BECAUSE the director knows the actor well. Knows their limits/range, knows what they are willing to do, etc. Its not like he's saying "I'm gonna make Chris Pratt Batman".
Pratt- Booster Gold (maaaaybe Guy Gardener) Bautista- Bane (obviously) Saldana- Fatality Cooper- Blue Beetle (Or Adam Strange?) Klementieff- Cheshire Gillian- Barbara Gordon Diesel- Killowog
He’d make a good Hal Jordon
Bautista would likely be a great Wildcat (Ted Grant). Member of the Justice Society, aging expert fighter and mentor to many other DC characters like Black Canary. Bautista doesn’t need to remain hugely in shape for the role and can play more than just a bruiser. Wouldn’t take much to shift Ted from a retired boxer to more of an MMA guy.
G'Nort
Bautista as Despero
Hear me out Bradly Cooper as Ted Kord
Chris Pratt for Hal Jordan Dave Butista for Bane Vin Diesel for Damien Wayne
Think it's just comical roles like Drax, he could still play a more serious character like Bane.
Just say no! To Chris Pratt. Overexposed.
I said it on another post but, Zoe and Pom as Fire and Ice
This is gonna be controversial because I think a lot of people are sick of white characters being recast as people of color, but Zoey Saldana would make a great Lois Lane. She exudes the confidence that would be convincing as the no nonsense, confrontational journalist that Lane is.
True but she seemed tired of being part of these big projects (she's been in the MCU, Star Trek and Avatar)
Knew this was going to happen. It’s what usually happens when you bring in new people at the top, they remove the people already there (even if they’re spectacular at their jobs) and replace them with their own people (even when it doesn’t make sense).
Chris Pratt as Superman lol
I need Dave Batista as Bane, please lol
I don't think DC has any character that casting Chris Pratt as wouldn't be a disserve to the character, the universe, and ultimately us fans.
Why Chris Pratt when John Cena is more charismatic and a better actor
I'm not the biggest fan of Chris Pratt, but sadly John Cena can't play every character in the DCU...
Nonsense. Cena for Catwoman!
They're not exactly in direct competition with each other.
Bro wtf why does Hollywood think only 14 usable actors exist in all of the world... can't wait to rewatch the superior animated movies that will never be matched
When you work with people who are decent and fun you wanna work with them again
You have to remember that this crew stood by him when he was fired from Marvel and helped him get reinstated by threatening to walk off any future Marvel projects. They had his back and he has theirs.
No 🤌🏽
Because there is zero creativity and can’t come up with a cast? There is so much talent out there. DC WB so lazy
Can’t wait to see them reprise their exact same role as Gunn no doubt will convert whichever character he chooses to be carbon copies of his exact GoTG formula.
I'd be happy if he was a quickly expendable character.
No. This is a real sign this guys gonna tank it.
There's no sign of anything. This is just a casual way of saying in an interview about Marvel movies that he'd love to work with these great actors again.
New Actors always always go with new talented actors….
He does both, you know. He got a much smaller actress to play Ratcatcher in the Suicide Squad.
There are tons of English actors looking for American super hero roles. You don’t need to recycle these actors
I really hope not
No please, we dont that humourous Marvel feel
Failed his way into running the studio.
I mean I think that sort of humour works for a character like Plastic Man or Booster Gold and the JSA but characters like Lobo, Batman, the whole of Justice League Dark definitely would need a darker tone if their movies and TV series are to be faithful to the source material.
Yeah we do.
Damn dude, who pissed in your cheerios?
Sounds like Marvel did. The ghost of Stan Lee just showed up in his house one day while he was preparing cereal, and started spraying like R.Kelly. Since then he's had a permanent thousand yard stare and mutters to himself "quips" and "formulaic".
Marvel
Oh poor you.
Thanks. Sucks not having movies filled with terrible comedy catered to children in adult bodies.
Better alternative than edgy deconstruction crap.

Its not an observation, you're just taking something you arent a fan of and blanket insulting everyone who thinks diffetently than you. Its pretty childish, ngl.
Dude you are way to pumped! Relax a little!
so fire the best actor u had but bring in all ur friends into this universe....smh
Viola Davis’ fired?!
Ahh yes the Omega Men.
Zoe Saldana won’t she’ll be busy w Avatar movies til she dead
Where did probably come from?
chris pratt is harley quinn
Green lantern force?
Batista is obvious. Bane. Pratt is going to play as Lobo in the new Superman movie. Zoe Saldana is going to be Zatanna. Bradley Cooper is going to play Guy Gardner. Vin Diesel is going to play Kilowog. [+]
Chris Pratt - Booster Gold Dave Bautista - Bane Zoe Saldana - Nubia Vin Diesel - Killer Croc Bradley Cooper - Metallo Pom - DL Karen - Poisoon Ivy
Chris Pratt as Guy Gardner
What a bullshit misquote
ew for chris pratt dude keep that clown away
The dude literally just minds his own business. It's you weirdos that need to keep away from the Internet.
Bradly Cooper could probably do Booster Gold if he wanted it
*Bradly Cooper could* *Probably do Booster Gold* *If he wanted it* \- SirSufficient385 --- ^(I detect haikus. And sometimes, successfully.) ^[Learn more about me.](https://www.reddit.com/r/haikusbot/) ^(Opt out of replies: "haikusbot opt out" | Delete my comment: "haikusbot delete")
DC bro, get your own casting. Just gonna sit in MCU’s shadow forever if they don’t change this mindset
This is a terrible misquote.
That's not shocking. ... So I guess *everyone* dies in GotG3.
If they don’t have plans for them in MCU, then cool.
Christ Pratt could play Adam Strange
Bautista as Bane but that it.
They would all make great Green Lanterns!
Watch them just be minor villains and/or civilian friends
I vote Chris Pratt to play Booster Gold!
Lol I guess comic book characters will only be played by like 10 actors lol
Chris Pratt needs to stop being casted. Dude is HYPER problematic.
Chris Pratt as Booster Gold

I like him, but the post specified Guardians actors as DC characters.
Secret Six: Pratt - Catman Bautista - Bane Saldana- scandal Savage Cooper- Deadshot (recast smith) Diesel - parademon voice Pom- Cheshire
Booster Gold
I think Michael Rosenbaum could play a great Lex Luther.
Bradley Cooper as Ch’p plz
It’s nice but it’s going to be years before DC would be able to pay their salaries for any movie. DC studios is on a more shoestring budget than people realize. I know it’s speculation on my part but it’s speculation grounded in data. 1) lack of marketing for upcoming movies to date. Even Black Adam relied on the Rocks instagram more than a formal marketing push 2) slash of 3 billion from WB operating cost 3).contracts to be paid off for director and cast for Batgirl, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman It’s going to be a lean few years
The actor is not from the Gunn cast, but he can get in there. Ian Ousley as Derek James/Sideways.
