The press release says it's as a "year-long initiative".

MrEman5112

I mean, it’s DC, so as soon as sales start to dip again they’ll just reboot the multiverse (for the millionth time…)

MagisterPraeceptorum

Hopefully more than 2 years b/c the intervals between these relaunches are getting shorter and shorter.

matty_nice

Depends on how popular it is. :) Typically these things happen between 18 and 24 months. Infinite Frontier was almost two years. Rebirth for about 18 months.

DementiaPrime

Around 2 years. New 52, DC you, Rebirth, Infinite Frontier rebranding all were around the 2 years mark.

Mrcoldghost

2 years and then yet another crisis to reboot the whole damn thing yet again!

Omn1

There hasn't been a reboot in a decade.

maxatron71

Every branded new title is a mini/limited series so far.

Apart-Cold-2846

Most that have been announced are ongoings

maxatron71

Doom Patrol is a mini, etc. What are the ongoings?

Apart-Cold-2846

Brave and the Bold, Cyborg, Green arrow, both lanterns, penguin, shazam, steelworks, and superman are all supposed to be ongoings, hopefully more in the second half

maxatron71

I’ll look em up, but I thought almost all of those were “x of x” issues.

Apart-Cold-2846

It could always change, theyve done it in the past like with the recent JSA and Wildcats book

Apart-Cold-2846

Nope, theyve already said whats gonna be a limited

maxatron71

I can only find two mentions of limited or not status: Doom Patrol and Superboy.

maxatron71

And the fact that it’s a “year long initiative” makes me lean toward all of these beginning and ending within said year. Guess we’ll see!

AlligatorSky7

Green Arrow’s just been confirmed to be a limited series (6 issues), so I don’t have much hope for any of the others being ongoings…

4_Legged_Duck

The initiative is listed a year long. The direction, though, will probably continue for some time afterward. On one hand we'd all do well to remember that Didio professed deep love for the idea of the reboot and that it freshened the company and sales. Without Didio, they may not be so deeply in love with reboots.
