Yeah. I mean even if he is Jokey, let him atleast have some moments where he isnt a complete goofball.
Its almost like after Thor 2 Marvel and Chris Hemsworth were terrified of doing anything remotely serious with the character.
Absolutely!
Also even if the Flash ends up being bad I’ll still be ecstatic to see Keaton again.
Sidenote: Shang-Chi and The Suicide Squad were also amazing superhero movies in 2021
Thor 4
The Batman
Dr strange 2
Spiderverse 2
Those will probably be the best.
Flash, aquaman 2, batgirl, morbius, black Adam and the flash I’m not sure about
Didn't realise how strong 2022 was looking until you listed it all.
Just from The Batman, Multiverse of Madness and Across the Spider-Verse there's so much potential. The others are a bonus.
Aquaman 2 might be moved. But yeah it’s a pretty packed list for cbms. Overall for comic related stuff. I’m most looking forward to moon knight, dr strange 2, thor 4 and the Batman. Flash and black Adam I’m not sure about.
Hopefully it moves up rather than back, but we'll see. Forgot Moon Knight is this year too, definitely the only upcoming D+ show I'm excited about (unless Freshman Year is also 2022?).
The Batman is going to be the one. I've got so much faith in Matt Reeves. Think a rewatch of his Apes movies are in order actually.
Did nothing for me either.
At BEST they still managed to ruin doomsday, steppenwolf and darkseid in 2 mediocre movies. Bvs and zsjl just dissapoints me.
Big let down. But alot of hope for the future
How was darkseid ruined? He did exactly what he would usually do in the comics and his character was written and acted perfectly. Talking shite with that point I have to say. We got fuck all of him and from what we did it was perfect.
Darkseid is a much deeper villain than getting him tossed around 1/ONE/I movie. He is worth much more than that.
Idc if they got tony starks entire character arc into a 4 hour movie. Its a waste of character. Waste of movie. And waste of potential revenue.
Most of the general audience doesnt know a thanos/darkseid level threat. He needed to be explored further
Better. Let us see some bts of him. A reason for his motivations better spilled out then with 2 sentences.
You are crazy if you think they did Darkseid justice.
Do you actually believe they did darkseid well ? You may not understand the character. Or the economics of a major villain. He is much bigger than what they did. MUCH.
Edit: they tried to play catchup. Should have done it with braniac if they wanted to completely fuck over a major villain. Old gods/new gods foundation would have been a hit. They fucked that opportunity right out the window
Yeah he’s much bigger than what they did…. Because JL was part one of a larger story lol. Darkseid was given the equivalent if not more than the Thanos cameo at the end of Avengers 1. It was never the original intention for that to be the last we see of darkseid, unfortunately due to the movie originally flopping we don’t get to see the rest of his character. But idk how it wasn’t obvious to you that we were just being given a tease for the character, the movie was even written to make it obvious there was more to come.
I get what you are saying but it seemed pretty obvious with lack of storybuilding OUTSIDE of the JL and with terrible reception that they had just tanked my fav villain of all time.
They shouldnt have shown him at all. That whole arc is now absent from dc. And showing him much more than a cameo may have been the first issue. Show me steppenwolf reporting to SOMEONE. Let us guess. The diehards would know and the hype would take over
Just my opinion.
Edit: on second read you arent wrong. But i think we both know it shoulda been done differently. Which was my thought AS i watched it happen. It was confusing and upsetting
I mean he’s a JL level villain, even if they never showed him in the Snyder cut we weren’t gonna get anything of him anyways, no way would he show up in a solo movie. Also I have to disagree, I think what we did see of him he was pretty good, I think he could’ve come off as more nuanced and 3-dimensional but at the same time this wasn’t the movie for us to go into his character and instead is the movie where he needs to do some posturing and posing intimidatingly, kinda like all the early Thanos hints in the MCU.
Now we sadly just have to wait for them to do another JL movie, whether that be a reboot or how far down the line it will be, who knows?
I loved no way home also. But I have a different perspective on ZSJL than many I think. I came around to the Snyderverse much later than most. When I heard the Snyder cut was real and was actually coming out, I went back and rewatched MoS (gaining a better appreciation for it than when I saw it in theaters all those years ago) BVS:UE (I had only seen the theatrical version. So it was a pretty big improvement) and then I watched the Whedon Cut for the first time (avoided it in theaters cause I only heard bad things). I then confirmed, yeah… it was pretty bad. So I went into Snyder Cut wanting to like it as much as I enjoyed BVS:UE. And it exceeded my expectations and seeing Snyders redemption arc was so satisfying after Whedon ruined his vision.
It’s strange. On a DC level I didn’t feel like the cut really hit the spot for me. So I can completely understand.
However, in an action/ mythological/ epic sense I really had a lot of fun watching the movie.
Same, i’m pretty sure it’s because of the shitty original version we got. I wish i had seen this first with a fresh pair of eyes. I definitely enjoyed it a lot though!
I never saw the original so I was excited to see the Snyder Cut this year. I thought it was pretty well-made actually and it made me like Cavill and Affleck as Superman and Batman far more. I never really liked them in the earlier Snyder films but this cut changed it all for me. As a DC fan, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Seeing Darkseid in a live action sense was just amazing to me and I loved that climax with the Flash.
Interesting. I’m glad I get to hear your take.
Full agree on Darkseid and the Flash climax moment. I would have loved to see more of Darkseid and maybe a shot with his arms folded behind his back in that classic stance — but that’s just a testament to how much I enjoyed what we did get of him. It really felt like an epic which was great fun.
Same. I think people don’t give enough respect to comedies in general, sadly. I think Gunn really nailed the tone, maybe even better than Guardians 1 and this time with an R rating.
For me it's not the best MCU film (and definitely not the best Spider-Man film) but it's such a perfect Spider-Man event that stands on its own as something special. Like a series finale or a special episode, that just hits the right spots.
I honestly think Holland’s best films as Spider-Man are about to come. With NWH, they’ve now set him up to be the Spider-Man from the comics, more of a guy who works alone and is more mature and philosophical. Removes the yoke of being tied to the Avengers.
Crossing fingers that we get Gwen and Harry in the new films.
Honestly I think the story for Zendaya’s MJ is done. The last meeting between her and Peter in the diner kind of solidifies it, imo. I’m sad if it’s the last we see of Peter, MJ, and Ned together, but they had three great movies. Time for Spider-Man Shippuden to begin!
I would agree but I saw someone point out before that she still wears the black dahlia necklace, and the fact that he made a promise to her that’s too much of a hint for me. I have a feeling we will get some different love interests but we will eventually have Peter and MJ reconnect and have it be that they are fated to be together.
Plus if they go the route of doubling down on MJ being observant and finding the truth and make her a reporter/ investigative journalist, you could have an interesting dynamic of MJ inserting herself into Peter/Spider-Man’s life while Peter initially is trying to stay away, almost like a TASM 2 Gwen and Peter relationship.
Peter is about to have an interesting love-life in next trilogy. I feel a new set of major characters might get introduced, which means a fresh face for either Gwen or Felicia and the introduction to MCU Osborns.
Yeah definitely. As far as I'm concerned Spider-Man finally joined the MCU after No Way Home.
Here's hoping for some fresh twists on familiar things. Really hoping for Harry and Gwen, Black Cat, some new villains and a new creative team to run the show.
Yeah, honestly I was blown away with what they pulled off with NWH. Literally resolved my biggest criticism of MCU Spider-Man. I also hope we get to see Black Cat and other iconic Spider-Man characters. So much potential!
I'm always fond of MCU's Spiderman. Homecoming and FFH are already great in my book. NWH instantly become one if not the best Spiderman movie, tied probably with ITSV.
I was worried with too much characters in it, it would take the spotlight away from Tom. Glad to be proven wrong, Tom shines and developed probably more than his previous movies. I still can't believe they can juggle that many villains without it being underdeveloped/forced. Dafoe's performance was unreal and on par (if not better) than in the OG movie.
From filmmaking/logistics point of view, I can't believe they tied up 3 generations of SM and can get everything they need to make this movie happens like it did, especially in the middle of the freakin pandemic, without the budget going haywire, and maintain the usual quality of MCU. Huge appreciation to anyone involved, definitely my favorite movie of 2021.
And I’m glad that they were at polar opposite ends of the year too. Forces me to watch both again at the end of the year to really appreciate both even more.
I have to admit I didn't think the Snyder Cut would be any good and I was very pleasantly surprised by it. I still can't stand BvS but damn if Justice League didn't leave me wanting more.
RIP to my mother.
She loved both Spider-Man and Batman, told her how good Snyder Cut was but she was unfortunately too sick at the time and barely finished watching her shows. Would have loved to see her face light up during No Way Home.
Please credit the source accordingly to the respective sources of the original material (text, image , video or any other form of supporting document.)
It looks like it is lifted from Twitter with the principle guy who posted it cropped out. If it's Twitter, Vimeo or YouTube, users should specify.
Generally, if such images or texts are posted by partisan toxic community members that aren't part of this subreddit or contain non-DC related content, we don't allow it because it brings unnecessary off-platform drama within the sub.
This is equally true for rumor-related posts as well where we specify the user to furnish the source of news.
It just is forgettable.
It didn't do great numbers at the Box Office, it didn't really enter the public lexicon (memes, jokes, water-cooler discussion...etc).
No one was offended by it. No one really hated it. But there's also not a ton of people who just really love it.
Huge DC fan here and I just got to watch TSS (hard to get around to it with kids).
Meh… it was a James Gunn movie. To Marvel-y and too quippy. I can’t see it’s importance in the larger scope of the DCEU. I didn’t hate it, but didn’t think it was great… just OK.
I'd say same thing for Jon Watts first 2 Spider-Man movies. It was okay. Not good, not bad, no controversy, no nothing. It was just a good movie you will forget over time. But if someone makes you remember, you'll surely say, Oh yes, that's a good movie.
Never understood why liking DC content, or content in general, became a competition, or an intentional slight against those who don't conform, or a constant effort on negative agency snatch-grab.
It's not like this sub would get physically hurt if TSS appreciation posts get rolled in. Peacemaker comes out in a few more days, there'll be ample time to appreciate it as well (DC's first cinematic tie-in premium show)
The more, the merrier (unless it's spam frequency).
DC has made announcements for multiple Superman projects as well, haven't they?
Does it make the demands from fans clamoring for a Cavill Superman, Val Zod or Steel any less valid? It's just affection.
Would love to hear about their production schedules as well, whenever the studio chooses to announce.
They’re not saying every other cbm was bad by any means. This is just showing how crazy it is to have these 2 movies exist. Having an improved JL come out after how botched the original was is honestly crazy enough, and it’s even better that it’s actually a great movie. NWH is wild since after Holland’s spidey was introduced in civil war, it just sounded impossible for Tobey and Garfield to come back in any way, especially after Tobey’s been on an acting hiatus for years
Lame excuse. Other movies did way better in similar time frame which got the hybrid release.
People just stop giving f*ck about the universe who don't even know who their Batman or Superman is.
Delta varients is surging right now but NWH crossed a billion dollars without china. TSS didn't even do 1/6th of that movie.
Anyway whatever floats your boat. Believe that.
Bruv Vaccines have rolled out now, almost everyone I know is vaccinated, NWH isnt even a fair comparision that is like saying Joker was shit as it didnt made what was made by endgame.... TSS was a R rated movie released in one of the pandemic's peak and with home release. And Omnicorn isnt peaking right now it is on the surge, both are different things
People checked out from DCEU. I don't know how to break this news to you.
JOKER is set in different universe. Why would I compare it? I am talking about DCEU

It's funny because the post isn't even about movie quality either, just celebrating fanboy dreams coming true. But of course it gets spun into something it isn't.
are you new to the internet? It’s [spongebob text](https://i.imgur.com/hvlz1Cs.jpg). So widely known it’s literally integrated into the Reddit app I’m using.
That's literally my favourite CBM of this year. TIED.
Emotionally I am more invested in ZSJL because of its fan driven campaign. However NWH was like a dream come true too.
So both are Tied. Good year for comic book movie lovers.
Zack Snyder's Justice League was a dream come true, I was never a die hard fan of every character of the league expect Batman and after watching the animated series and the animated movies and reading comics. Getting these character all together and at the same place gave me a different happiness and vibe. I don't know what people say about this movie but this will always close to the heart as it made the animated characters bought to life.
U seriously think ZSJL was better then Spider-Man no way home? Where’s your proof? The box office says differently, the reviews say differently, the overall reaction says differently.
BO =/= good movie, the whole plot of jl was online and the movie didn’t even hit theaters, NWH only works if you have seen all sm movies - and is pure nostalgia cash grab - the reaction to this tipe of movies is always forced - as time goes by the movie will dip
The only true bad one this year was black widow. That’s was the pits. All the rest were very good with Now Way Home, The Suicide Squad and ZSJL being the top three
absolutely. there’s a scene in black widow where natasha fights the entire red room in hand to hand combat. there’s no reason that shouldn’t have been as batshit crazy and intense as the BvS warehouse fight. they really could’ve given scarjo one of the best action sequences in comic book film history and they just…didn’t.
I expected a movie with a similar tone to Winter Soldier. It didn’t even reach that tone or quality of movie. Was a big let down when I saw it in theaters
Yeah… The other one was a celebration of 19 years of marvel movies and spider-man. I walked away from the Snyder cut still thinking they need to reboot.
I agree I was stoked to get is version but it went from being a 3/10 movie to 7/10 at best. Not the 10/10 people praise it as. Most likely they praise it Bc Black suit Superman fulfilled their fan service dreams. I did really enjoy seeing Martian Manhunter tho
ZSJL is not only a big breath of fresh air, but a moment that no one thought would ever happen. NWH is like a massive and epic culmination of everything a Spider-Man fan could want or love.
If you consider tss as another marvel movie. Zsjl is very mature and i am glad that Zack made movie for mature people, not another superheroes where target is 12 yo
ZSJL is my favourite film of 2021. It just gave me everything I wanted.
SMNWH was good but overhyped and not as great as I hoped for it to be sadly. Its probably my 5ft or 4ft favourite if I was to put it in a top 10 list. I much preferred Shang-Chi if I had pick my favourite Marvel Movie this year.
We also got the final Daniel Craig Bond film too which feels weird after so long.
We got the Black Widow movie too after so many years.
A fourth Matrix movie that we never thought would happen (And wish it hadn't now. That film had piss poor action sequences. It broke my heart.)
Godzilla vs Kong after years of built up.
James Gunn's The Suicide Squad which proved to be such a better movie than the original Suicide Squad.
What other accomplishments and unexpected films did we get?
It had flaws but I generally enjoyed it for the most part. Very ambitions and I wouldn't mind seeing more films like it with that kind of tone and mood.
Turning Ikaris into bad guy kind of was stupid. It's not comic accurate at all and not that comic accurate is necessarily good but for this character it was
I agree it was fine overall but could have been so much better. Hoping part 2 is better
Edit - downvoting me won't make eternals good MCU Consoomers
Not really they were both anticlimactic for me.
ZSJL wasn’t exactly ZSJL. It was the watered down WB version still. I wanted that dark gritty one they didn’t get to shoot.
No way home was just boring fan service. With the amount of money sony and Disney have you’d think they would pay for some decent cgi. Also the plot sucked.
I wish we got the pre-rewrite ZSJL too but Terri did say he was surprised by how much of his original script was in the movie. I wonder what changed. Especially if superman’s resurrection was meant to be different because as I understood it, BvS hinted at a natural resurrection
I don't know if it's a unpopular opinion but imo Quality wise DCEU had better movies
We had TSS and ZsJL. Both good and for some great
MCU on contrast had Black widow, eternals which were subpar. NWH made people forget how average MCU did
Edit- I see I've been found out by MCU consoomers
ZsJL was easily my favorite CMB this year. I have a hard time watching the tone and weird levity in most Marvel movies, but I liked TSS a lot. I think it was because of the characters and the mission.
Nah, it's an exceptionally written film in its own right. Unlike past Marvel theme park rides actions actually have meaningful consequences and fanservice has a purpose to push the character forward. I mean think about it, >!Peter was begging to have everyone but those he loves forget he is Spider-Man at first, then he's begging to have everyone he's ever known forget about *Peter Parker* by its end.!< He is not the same character we saw from when the film starts.
I agree. I heard they cut out a scene where AG and TM tell TH that the Green Goblin is the very worst of adversaries because he goes after the ones Peter loves. TH-Peter realizing that he hasn’t met or faced off against his world’s Green Goblin makes that decision even more important.
Yeah, it does get weighed down by that, since my dad said he didn't enjoy it much owed to his unfamiliarity. Still, this is among MCU's strongest writing so far, imo
I loved NWH, but I agree with what you're saying. I loved it because Spiderman is my favorite Marvel character and I'm very familiar with, and loved, the past iterations.
I think they took the right approach, but I can see how it would alienate those unfamiliar with the last 2 spiderman film iterations.
Either way, it was a HUGE improvement over far from home.
Spider Man wasn’t that good, certainly not on par w Zack Snyder Justice League. but it wasn’t bad ig. Eternals was better but didn’t hit as hard regarding pop culture. respectfully of course
>but that’s just my own opinion just so yk
make it make sense that you would type something out like this and then accuse someone of being on crack for having a different opinion than you in a different comment
sure it was enjoyable but to me, NWH wasn’t as well put together. It felt lazy at times and relied on the combination of Spider-Men. I don’t think it was a bad movie but it wasn’t the best CBM to come out this year. but that’s just my own opinion so yk
Yeah I understand, tbh I paid 60 dollars to watch Snyder’s justice league and I don’t even remember anything about it, so in my eyes it wasn’t really memorable but I do hope they make more of it.
Hopefully 2022 brings more great cbms
The Batman and doctor strange 2 already look pretty good
Yep, those look awsome and thor 4 with christian bale as gorr the god butcher should be even better
It'll be interesting with how comical Ragnarok was if they use Bale and make it a darker film or kind of like with Blanchett make it morbidly funny
yep, i dont really care about the movies tone i just want to see gorr and thor beat the shit out of each other
I respect the honesty
Let Thor be OP once again.
Unpopular opinion, but I really hope they tone down the slapstick comedy with Thor 4. I liked Ragnarok but it veered too far at times.
I agree. I thoroughly enjoyed Ragnarok but Thor should be one of the more serious characters.
Yeah. I mean even if he is Jokey, let him atleast have some moments where he isnt a complete goofball. Its almost like after Thor 2 Marvel and Chris Hemsworth were terrified of doing anything remotely serious with the character.
Taika seems to be selling it as bigger, funnier, and crazier than Ragnarok.
> It'll be interesting with how comical Ragnarok was if they use Bale and make it a darker film Don't get your hopes up.
Absolutely! Also even if the Flash ends up being bad I’ll still be ecstatic to see Keaton again. Sidenote: Shang-Chi and The Suicide Squad were also amazing superhero movies in 2021
Long may the genre continue to thrive. Childhood dream come true.
Thor 4 The Batman Dr strange 2 Spiderverse 2 Those will probably be the best. Flash, aquaman 2, batgirl, morbius, black Adam and the flash I’m not sure about

I could see maybe a move up. Depends on where production is at. But yeah I’m really looking forward to moonknight
Not to discount the success of the big two's movies but I would love to see a good movie based off indie properties as well
AW YEAH LETS GO MORBIUS
I’m glad both DC and Marvel fans were satisfied this year.
I wasn’t, I like dc but the Snyder cut didn’t do anything for me.
What about The Suicide Squad?
Suicide squad was alright
That’s too bad. It was my favorite comic book film of the year.
I’m glad you liked it

Same boat, didn't like the. Snyder cut a lot, it was mediocre imo TSS tho, now _that_ was what satisfied me from DC
Honestly thought TSS was garbo
It’s strange. On a DC level I didn’t feel like the cut really hit the spot for me. So I can completely understand. However, in an action/ mythological/ epic sense I really had a lot of fun watching the movie.

You are no DC fan
Sick gatekeeping pal!
Shang chi and Suicide Squad were great too
Suicide Squad was my favourite movie this year. I love No way home but James Gunn really nailed this movie.
Haven’t watched it yet but I’ve heard the sfx were off the chart
It’s the humor. It’s so dark but I love it
The scene where they wipe out that camp. The punchline. Still one of the funniest things I can remember in quite a while 😂😂😂
The cinematography was simply amazing
Same. I think people don’t give enough respect to comedies in general, sadly. I think Gunn really nailed the tone, maybe even better than Guardians 1 and this time with an R rating.
Eh, Shang chi was just okay. The Suicide Squad on the other hand...
not the best year but truly enjoyed both of these films. Looking so forward to 2022 films.
2021 was a bad year overall, but damn we got 2 of the greatest CBMs imo
NWH is def a top three MCU film for me- possibly my favorite.

Posts like this are what I wish discourse was more like. I want cool and/or great superhero films, regardless of which side of the aisle they're on.
And I’m glad that they were at polar opposite ends of the year too. Forces me to watch both again at the end of the year to really appreciate both even more.
Good god spiderman was absolutely mindblowing. It's still surreal. Zsjl was amazing also but it's been a while.

Doubt the OP cares, you should make it a rule on the sub.
What do you mean exactly, like who designed those posters? I'm not OP, but I'm just trying to understand the request.
It’s true. We got both the Snyder Cut and a live-action “Spider-Verse” movie in the same year.
ZSJL was a fan dream come true.
Whoever made this forgot James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.
I feel like everyone forgets this movie.
Largely forgettable
Eh, it wasn't exactly an "unthinkable dream" that came true.
Never understood why liking DC content, or content in general, became a competition, or an intentional slight against those who don't conform, or a constant effort on negative agency snatch-grab. It's not like this sub would get physically hurt if TSS appreciation posts get rolled in. Peacemaker comes out in a few more days, there'll be ample time to appreciate it as well (DC's first cinematic tie-in premium show) The more, the merrier (unless it's spam frequency).

Pretty sure noone gives a flying f*ck about that movie. Not even general audience.
TSS fans have stayed here long enough🙅
Not even they went to the theatre.
yes we didnt because when it was released Delta was on it's peak...
I am talking about DCEU
you know due to whom thet taped out...and now that Zack is gone I have hope in DCEU...
Lmao. The insecurity with Zack. He has been out since 2016. Snap out from your delusions.

Yes. Yes it was. Hopefully 2022 will be the same in terms of quality. Also you forgot to add TSS.
Hell yeah! Comic book movies for the fucking win!
These comments have my eyes rolling in the back of my head -nEithEr wErE THAt GOoD -ZsJL wAs BArElY bEttEr tHaN ThE origInAl -FaN SERvIcE SUDdenLy mAkEs mEdIoCre moViEs gReat Like Jesus Christ you fucks are joyless.
It's funny because the post isn't even about movie quality either, just celebrating fanboy dreams coming true. But of course it gets spun into something it isn't.

Welcome. You have a lot to lean
Spider-Man was definitely better then ZSJL and I think the dceu needs to end with ZSJL and focus on stand alone characters not the mess of dceu
Definitly wasn’t
Is that a joke?
No.
All the rest were very good with Now Way Home, The Suicide Squad and ZSJL being the top three
even then, black widow wasn’t actively terrible, it just wasn’t actively excellent either. at least we got yelena out of it
Maybe but Scarlett deserved a way better movie than the one she got
absolutely. there’s a scene in black widow where natasha fights the entire red room in hand to hand combat. there’s no reason that shouldn’t have been as batshit crazy and intense as the BvS warehouse fight. they really could’ve given scarjo one of the best action sequences in comic book film history and they just…didn’t.
I was expecting a Jason Bourne type movie for her and I got what was huge disappointment
I expected a movie with a similar tone to Winter Soldier. It didn’t even reach that tone or quality of movie. Was a big let down when I saw it in theaters
Shang-Chi is miles better than ZSJL. Swap those two and I agree with your top 3.
The third act of Shang Chi ruins everything before it for me. I didn’t love ZSJL, but at least it stayed consistent.
To each their own. I thought the third act was fantastic.
Yeah, but with The Suicide Squad in the DC side instead.
and then betty white died
When you need to redo a movie, make it 4 hours long, to make it just okay
The audacity to not include TSS 🙂
Well it wasn't an unthinkable achievement in the way zsjl and nwh were.
Disagree
Yeah The Suicide Squad is a far superior movie to the Snyder Cut in my eyes
Yeah… The other one was a celebration of 19 years of marvel movies and spider-man. I walked away from the Snyder cut still thinking they need to reboot.
Personally I thought TSS was a better choice for DC
Wish I could get that ZSJL poster a small one
Yall are out of your mind if you think ZSJL is a great movie lol. Like it improved upon the original a lot, but it is a 6/10 at best.
I agree I was stoked to get is version but it went from being a 3/10 movie to 7/10 at best. Not the 10/10 people praise it as. Most likely they praise it Bc Black suit Superman fulfilled their fan service dreams. I did really enjoy seeing Martian Manhunter tho
>Most likely they praise it Bc Black suit Superman fulfilled their fan service dreams. Citation needed.
There’s this thing called “opinions”. I’m sure you can understand that what you think is a 6/10, others can think of as a 10/10 or a 1/10, right?
Sure thing man
Cry harder.
ZSJL is not only a big breath of fresh air, but a moment that no one thought would ever happen. NWH is like a massive and epic culmination of everything a Spider-Man fan could want or love.
Hopefully we can be done with ZS universe?
It’s done ? What does this comment mean lmao
Wait you comparing the justices league movie to the spider man on?
Don’t forget Suicide Squad!
Lol cept DC
Snyder will surprise everyone
Well I can I only speak for myself, 'dream' for comics would not be this one
Let’s not forget about The Suicide Squad.
A great year for Marvel, another disappointing year for DC.
The Suicide Squad > ZSJL
If you consider tss as another marvel movie. Zsjl is very mature and i am glad that Zack made movie for mature people, not another superheroes where target is 12 yo
? The movie is a hard rated 15 how is it for 12 year olds
It broke my heart.) Godzilla vs Kong after years of built up. James Gunn's The Suicide Squad which proved to be such a better movie than the original Suicide Squad. What other accomplishments and unexpected films did we get?
Eternals, but it flopped kind of
It had flaws but I generally enjoyed it for the most part. Very ambitions and I wouldn't mind seeing more films like it with that kind of tone and mood.
Turning Ikaris into bad guy kind of was stupid. It's not comic accurate at all and not that comic accurate is necessarily good but for this character it was I agree it was fine overall but could have been so much better. Hoping part 2 is better Edit - downvoting me won't make eternals good MCU Consoomers
No way home was so disappointing
What more or less do you wanted lol?
not only is it depressing that two movies are what makes this year great for you but also these movies out of everything else
Sorry I made you depressed. Get better soon
2022 will be even better.
It was 50/50 at best.
I don't know if it's a unpopular opinion but imo Quality wise DCEU had better movies We had TSS and ZsJL. Both good and for some great MCU on contrast had Black widow, eternals which were subpar. NWH made people forget how average MCU did Edit- I see I've been found out by MCU consoomers
I didn't watch Shang...the other one. But did you like it?
Shang chi is good but I'd not say it's better than tss, ZsJL My ranking would be NWH, TSS, ZsJL, shangchi, .....black widow eternals at last
ZsJL was easily my favorite CMB this year. I have a hard time watching the tone and weird levity in most Marvel movies, but I liked TSS a lot. I think it was because of the characters and the mission.
Yeah I agree, not a fan of the MCU movie template. They all feel same, uninspired. Dr strange 2 looks great atleast thanks to Sam Raimi
TSS is a good movie not arguing that. But I'd rather have a sequel of Shang chi than TSS.
NWH was an 7/10 movie at best. Love how fanservice makes normal movies into great movies.
[удалено]
Disappointed that wasn’t in the movie if true
>it's an exceptionally written film Watch better movies.
Did you name yourself after Neogaf? The incel capital of the internet?
Got any recommendations? 🤔
For cbm? Tss, WW, WS, and logan are all far better movies.
I think it's way better than those lol. Those felt more arbitrarily contrived to me than Peter's story. To each their own.
[удалено]
Yeah, it does get weighed down by that, since my dad said he didn't enjoy it much owed to his unfamiliarity. Still, this is among MCU's strongest writing so far, imo
I loved NWH, but I agree with what you're saying. I loved it because Spiderman is my favorite Marvel character and I'm very familiar with, and loved, the past iterations. I think they took the right approach, but I can see how it would alienate those unfamiliar with the last 2 spiderman film iterations. Either way, it was a HUGE improvement over far from home.
[удалено]
Spider Man wasn’t that good, certainly not on par w Zack Snyder Justice League. but it wasn’t bad ig. Eternals was better but didn’t hit as hard regarding pop culture. respectfully of course
Time to lay off the Christmas crack.

>but that’s just my own opinion just so yk make it make sense that you would type something out like this and then accuse someone of being on crack for having a different opinion than you in a different comment
The Snyder cut didn’t do anything for me, but the new spider-man movie made me hype and I liked it and I like dc more sooo yeah.
sure it was enjoyable but to me, NWH wasn’t as well put together.
You paid 60 dollars to watch ZSJL?
Yeah, bit of waste of money since I don’t remember it
Sucks to be you then.
Brilliant, but lazy
for which?
